Porterhouse for 2 was too dry & cooked for our order of medium rare. Service was excellent though. Recommended red wine Layer Cake was good but not worth the price point. View out of windows is pointless to describe.
all the staff were patient and made good food recommendations. they also helped me to give a surprise to my fiance with the team singing him a birthday song.
Good ambiance and attentive service. Ribeye steak was charred on the outside and tender inside. Wine prices a little steep but expected. Worth a visit.
Excellent food with impeccable service. Steak has the perfect medium rare fineness. Steak fries is a must try. One of the best fries I tried.
Our waiter, Poulis was attentive and the main highlights were the porterhouse. such delectable delights. Thank you for a lovely evening!
The waitstaff are fantastic, ever ready to help and unstinting with good suggestions. Loved the steak fries and onion rings, and of course the porterhouse.
The steak & yellow fin tuna are average, pasta & rib eye are good and the services are excellent. Will visit again to try the lunch set.
The meat here is excellent and the staff were friendly. A more relaxed vibe than we were expecting. The fried items were not exceptional but the salads and vegetables were very fresh.
Steak was good, but service needs to improve (i.e. Staff are friendly but do not seemed well-trained. Plates were not placed gently on the table, clumsy in clearing, knocked into table a few times and interrupt conversations on the table).
Food was overly salty in general but Taste of New York set was value for money (steak + mashed potato, creamed spinach + cheesecake) - only available during lunch. Skip the pastas. Service was excellent and ambience was good; lots of sunlight from the floor to ceiling windows. Can get warm though if you are seated near the windows.
Steaks were good and consistent with previous visits. Sides were average and could do with more flavor. Service staff were attentive but conversations felt scripted and not natural.
Very good steak! Tender and incredibly juicy Personally think it's better than Peter Lugers in Brooklyn. Portions are US sizes too, we had the steak for 3 and it fed 5 of us easily!
Morton’s price, but experience wasn’t comparable. Service staff were not well trained - uncoordinated service, extends the table after diners are seated (i dont understand this logic), and one of the service staff even “blamed” me for distracting him when he was pouring us the ice water as i asked him what was the catch of the day. My salmon was not even cooked, some parts overcooked while there was a part which was raw.
The potter house steak is one of the best steak here. Lovely place to bring a date. We left with a happy and satisfied tummy! Our review here: http://look-see-eat.blogspot.com/2017/11/best-classical-ny-wolfgangs-steakhouse-singapore.html
Wolfgang served us very fantastic food of good quality and provided excellent service!! We will be back again. The ambience is also good for hosting friends and family.
Great steak and lively atmosphere, not too uptight like other steakhouse.
Food was ok, nothing special. WIne selection was good. Service was very good. What spoiled our night was our table. We had booked weeks in advance for a table for 2, 8pm Saturday evening. Despite the email confirmation the day before, and a telephone conversation on the day, when we arrived at 8:05pm it was obvious our table had been given to someone else. Frantic discussion between two at the front desk which ended in “anywhere, wherever there is a table”. Eventually they tried to put us at the worst table of the restaurant, right near the entrance where the foot traffic was nonstop. We refused then asked if we wanted to sit at the bar. Eventually a table was cleared in the middle of the restaurant. By then the damage had been done. What was meant to be a special night was ruined. There was no apology or any attempt to make things good. Far better steakhouses in Singapore at this price point, both food and attitude to patrons. I won’t be recommending Wolfgang to anyone soon.
The food was excellent and service from our Waiter, Mr Raymond was superb!!! The aged Porterhouse was a real melt in your mouth experience! Only down side was the noisy environment... we could hardly hear each other at the table...
The steak was awesome.we had sirloin which live up to its reputation of being so flavorful altho not as marbled as ribeye. Paul our server is efficient and friendly n able to make good recommendation. But sadly the same can't b said of the female server who couldn't answer most our questions incl how many pax could the private room accommodate or if the ribeye was dry aged! My grouse.. the seats are simply too near and the noise level was too high to be comfortable. There was a party of some 20 pax at one end and they were so loud that i could hardly hear myself. Apart fr this.. evrything was really great. Service was good despite being packed to the brim Overall..I had a great time and will definitely recommend Wolfgang as the best steakhouse in Singapore currently! Trumping the rest!!
Dry aged Steak was good. Service is quite fast. Nice ambiance. Perfect for any occasion. Overall was a great experience. Would definitely return/ recommend a friend.
Really nice restaurant and enjoyed lunch with my wife for 17th wedding anniversary. Hope I will visit there again with my family in the near future.
Reminds us so much of NYC. E rowdy atmosphere & e fantastic steak! We were very impressed by their service! Friendly, thoughtful, humorous, spontaneous, and happy! Very good recommendation by SURAJ. We ordered few appetisers (crab cake, sizzling bacon & fresh oysters) , lobster bisque, porterhouse for 3, steak fries (a must to try!), asparagus & brocolli. As we were happily enjoying our entree, we totally forgot about our lobster bisque that didn’t turn up at e table until SURAJ came to ask us about our food - we can’t be more happy with e porterhouse. Then he told us that he has cancelled e soup on our behalf because of the portions we have ordered. We were soooo impressed! So thoughtful. E portions were just 👍🏻 for e four of us without e soup. Thanks, Wolfgang’s chefs & e team especially our host for that night, SURAJ. Best place for special occasions - birthdays & anniversaries.
Excellent food and service! Beef was very nicely done. Lobster bisque was great. They gave us a birthday surprise by having the staff Sing birthday song together at the end of dinner.
Great steak, but recommend to call ahead to check unavailable items on the menu. The ribeye was sold out and we were told the next batch that will be ready in mid-December.
Both food and service were great so enjoyed with my family and friends. People were responsive so no stress. Table and seats were bit close to each other.
Dry aged steak is just different and this is a classic nyc steakhouse. The steak is comparable to that served in nyc but the thick cut bacon was a disappointment compared to their version in nyc. Will be back for the steak! Service was haphazard.
Great food, with the steaks having a unique flavor from the dry aging process. Ambience was cosy with warm brown tones in the decor but can get quite noisy, making it difficult to have conversations. Service was generally friendly and there was an abundance of staff, which is a nice change from many understaffed restaurants today.
We ordered the porterhouse for 2 and it was done perfectly. The servers explained well when we asked them about the weight of the steak, the part of the steak, how they aged it etc. And not to forget the awesome recommendation of the key lime pie that took away all surfeiting feeling from having too much steak.
Excellent food and service. would have been nice if they were able to meet my request of seating us in a quiet part of the restaurant rather than putting us right in the centre of the establishment.
Heartwarming and smart service, and goood porterhouse. Everybody in the restaurant was happ I am surey! I mean both customers and the team. As many tables celebrating their bday, and the team was showing their great hospitality to the fullest by singing bday songs to every table celebrating. We were there wishing for a rather a quiet dinner on our first wedding anniversary by the way, and the team made it so perfect - they've got us the corner table with the sofa where is quiter. Thank you team for a great night! ( and the tiramisu with your sweet message!)
We had too high expectation to this World Famous Restaurant The service seems to be good. We expected much more gorgeous interior but later on realized this restaurant is more casual than CUT On the day we went there were a big group of maybe over 10, and they were making some noise and this disturbed our family dinner, restaurant has to remind them to behave We saw a lot of family having dinner on that night I bet they felt the same As this is the place we go on a special occasion, this Amadeus the bad impression of the restaurant
Great service, Great food, nice ambience but gets abit noisy when it is getting crowded. Overall it is a great place to dine, will recommend.
Great steak ! Great wine selection ! Desserts can be better - less sweet pls Warm loving team - thank you for the great service !
service was slow and inattentive once it got crowded. what was worse was that a steakhouse ran out of its popular ribeye steak?! seriously bad planning.
Fantastic steak which was cooked to perfection. We ordered medium rare and it came out exactly the way we wanted it. Service was good and place was packed on a Wednesday night. For sides, cream spinach was fabulous but German potatoes had a overcharred taste which we didn’t really like.
We ordered the porterhouse and it didn’t disappoint. Simply amazing! Service from the staff was personal and immaculate. Thanks Wolfgang for making this such an memorable experience.
The quality was extremely nice and price was cheaper than I’ve expected. Especially the wine selection, they have many options less than $80/btl.
The restaurant has great old-school ambiance and attentive service. Past 8 o’clock things get a bit hectic and loud, but overall we enjoyed terrific food and a wonderful time.
Went with my wife to celebrate her birthday. Their service was excellent. And above all, the taste of steak was unforgettable.sure to come back again.
Great food, but service was inconsistent. There were a few occasions that I had to top up my own wine glass from my bottle. However, a complimentary tiramisu from Wolfgang to celebrate our anniversary was a nice touch.
The steak was great and the service was superlative. The level of service is unlike any I have seen in Singapore. The staff were surprisingly very accommodating to young children. Thumbs up!
Service was disappointing, table wasn’t ready when we arrived. When we were taken to our table we had to wait another 10+ mins for the menus. Steak was average for the price. Sides were over cooked and dry. The manager did deduct the sides from our bill.
Second time there. They have run out of ribeye. had the porterhouse which was good but the ribeye was better. lobster Mac and cheese still very good. would probably skip the spinach next time.
Food was good and we were given a very good quiet corner table overlooking the outside. However service was not good. We had to get our own water snd dessert took a long time to come.
Good Ambience and Food. The staffs are professional and know their jobs well. Special requests have been catered to as well. Perhaps there could be more private rooms with lesser minimum spend requirement
food is v good and close to the original in park ave but service is disappointing, bill was wrong as well , overcharged us and this is not excusable
Have visited Wolfgang’s several times in Singapore and Tokyo. Delicious every time! Great steaks, salads, apps, sides. My favorite is to sit at the bar because the chips served are amazing!
Restaurant has a very open seating arrangement and tended to be very noisey. We ordered some oysters for starters and it was the smallest ones I ever had. Wanted to go for the ribeye steak but they were out of them. So ended up with the Porterhouse steak for two. The tender loin side as great but the top loin was rather tough. Nonetheless, it was pretty good considering the price paid, having the need to console myself. Nothing great about the side dishes, which we ordered spinach and grilled mushrooms. Service was so-so, having had to ask for my butter twice, which was presented as 2 square blobs on a small dis. Perhaps my expectation was set a bit too high given some of the reviews I had read. For the total bill paid, including 2 glasses of wine, I believe it is over priced given it did not give me the WOW factor anticipated.
Food was good. Served very fast though. Would definitely go back to try the ribeye which wasnt available. Service good and friendly. Location convenient too.
High quality steak has been enjoyed. Had wonderful time. Hoever, we have ordered foods more than our capacity because we did not know each food volume. Ideally staff's suggestion on volume of food in advance might be requested.
