Food was delicious, service was good !! Best steak in Singapore!
Food was delicious as always; Service was great; We enjoyed a great lunch as a family.
One of our family’s go to restaurants for celebrations. Service consistently excellent.
Excellent food and service; quiet, great for conversations. will definitely go again.
So I thought I was going to a Wolfgang puck offshoot but it was Wolfgang zweiner. But really a rose by any other name.... and this one was certainly an excellent experience! We had the lunch set and I was all prepared to have dainty little portions and be hungry for dinner. Boy was I wrong! Portions were GENEROUS! And I’m not putting the caps for nothing!!! The starter I could have done without although the highlight of that dish was the tuna tartare and avocado. Love love love that combination with a squeeze of lime. Soup was a very comforting beef and barley. Steak for mains - I had the filet mignon and my husband had the prime rib. Regrets I had many! The prime rib was divine!!! So flavourful because the fat was rendered just so and charred to perfection! Not to say my filet mignon was not good. But nothing beats a prime rib man!!!! Dessert was a gorgeous tiramisu with just the right amount of alcoholic kick!!! And they provided coffee too! I had to have a double espresso to was it all down! Certainly for the portions they gave, it was well worth it! If you drive you can comp parking. Oh and a shout out to Idris our server - very friendly, very funny! And he certainly rounded off our experience very well! A definite must go back!!’
I had a wonderful experience! I have eaten at the Wolfgang's at the Royal Hawaiian Shopping Center in Waikiki several times, where I am from. I can't remember the server's name, but he was excellent at coursing the meals, with his food knowledge and suggestions. The teamwork was awesome with serving and clearing the courses, keeping my beverage full, table touches, silverware replacement, and my general well being. It is nice to see employee engagement at such a high level, in this restaurant. It is a reflection of the company culture and the GM Danny Koo. The greeter on the phone when I called, and upon arrival was very friendly and professional. My table location was great, and the whole experience was well executed. The filet was better than the one at Ruth's Chris and Morton's the two nights before. I am loyal long term Ruth's Chris patron, too. It was nice talking to Danny about the restaurant business, and he is top notch, quite knowledgeable and asset. I plan on going to the one in Hawaii again, in a few months when I go back to visit for a few weeks, from Bangkok. Great job everyone, keep up the good work, and thanks for a memorable experience, with great food, service and ambiance with my first time in Singapore, and at this location. Mahalo! I brought my wife here to lunch for her birthday. We shared a Avocado & Prawns Salad, followed by Taste of New York for each of us. Warm bread was served. The onion roll was soft and flavourful. The other multigrain baguette variety was a tad tough. The salad was palatable. The grilled prawns, avocado and vegetables were fresh. The dressing was just nice and not overwhelming. If only there were more prawns in the generous salad serving, even when shared by two pax. Taste of New York started with Prime Black Angus Sirloin Steak. I was thoroughly impressed by the huge portions. Thick cut steak served with creamed spinach and mashed potatoes were enhanced with the Old Fashioned Sauce for steak. The succulent and flavourful meat was made even better by the tangy and smoky taste of the sauce. The sampling of New York Cheesecake for dessert rounded off an already excellent main course. The cheesecake was yummily creamy without being too sweet. The already wonderful dining experience was then topped by a pleasant birthday surprise for my wife, with a complementary serving of key lime pie complete with a lighted candle and heartwarming birthday song from the Wolfgang staff. For a huge eater, I was extremely taken by the food portions, and grateful for the tiptop service. My positive experience dining at Wolfgang could only be bested by the great smile on my wife's face, a certain indicator that she has enjoyed the meal no less than I have. Thank you, Wolfgang!
The Hostess ruined our night on Chistmas Eve but... The food and service far more than made up for everything that hostess, Siti Aisah (known as Sandy) has done. For a start, we were punctual but was made to wait. We understand that it's Xmas eve and the restaurant was packed. When my husband went to check with the hostess again on the status of the table, she shouted and pointed at him and even talked him down. It was embarrassing for him in front of other guests and she placed her problems on us in a very unprofessional manner. There was never an apology for her rude attitude. Since it's Xmas eve, my husband decided to focus on having a joyous dinner first and deal with this unhappy experience later on. The service staff which comprises of Suraj, Nickson, Mickey and even Sam were spectacular and immaculately attentive. Dishes were prompt even when the kitchen was busy. The Seafood platter was fresh and highly recommended for sharing. It was a good effort from the staffs to manage our expectations for the portion of the food (American size). The Ribeye steak is one of their key signatures and truly lives up to that name!
Reminds us so much of NYC. E rowdy atmosphere & e fantastic steak! We were very impressed by their service! Friendly, thoughtful, humorous, spontaneous, and happy! Very good recommendation by SURAJ. We ordered few appetisers (crab cake, sizzling bacon & fresh oysters) , lobster bisque, porterhouse for 3, steak fries (a must to try!), asparagus & brocolli. As we were happily enjoying our entree, we totally forgot about our lobster bisque that didn’t turn up at e table until SURAJ came to ask us about our food - we can’t be more happy with e porterhouse. Then he told us that he has cancelled e soup on our behalf because of the portions we have ordered. We were soooo impressed! So thoughtful. E portions were just 👍🏻 for e four of us without e soup. Thanks, Wolfgang’s chefs & e team especially our host for that night, SURAJ. Best place for special occasions - birthdays & anniversaries.
Best steak hubby n I have had ever. We got the porterhouse for 2 and we could have eaten more! There’s no need for sauces (not that there are any save for ketchup) cos they sear the outside so perfectly, the juices are retained within. Pink, melt in your mouth meat - best medium rare ever. And amazingly the outside is not charred either which tends to happen even in some of the better steakhouses. Dessert wise, not sure why the NY cheesecake is their signature dessert, and the tiramisu is very average. Agree with a previous reviewer re the “Schlag”. Just order steak at this place imho. Great wait staff who are courteous, humorous and speak well. Will definitely be back again. Plus there’s complimentary parking available!
