The waitresses were very hesitant with their service and rarely smiled.

Tried the tonkatsu pork curry. Food was served hot and delicious.

Nice ambience overseeing street view in central Orchard. Enjoyed chilled beer glass with pork cutlet set.

Restaurant was busy when we were there for dinner. We enjoyed the food.

Tried premium UK pork today via their Dingley Dell rosu katsu set, which is priced at 28++ Very tender pork deep fried in light batter that's crispy :) Albeit with excessive amount of visible fat in the meat! Sides comprising cabbage, miso soup, takuan (i.e. yellow pickled radish) and jelly fish were all yummy as well. Freshly grounded sesame added a nice touch to the katsu sauce. Definitely a hearty meal of real tonkatsu ;)

My go to tonkatsu restaurant in Singapore. Good quality and wide range of dishes. Service is great too.

Service can afford to be better and more polite, especially manager managing front of house. Unsure why the rudeness when attending to us when we arrived. Been patronising for 18 years. Food is still of a pretty decent standard.

Thankfully we reserved, it was quite packed. The food was alright, the fried squid was under whelming. Was so tiny and you can’t really taste anything except saltiness. Good that the rice and cabbage are refillable.

Restaurant was good to put my 2 separate reservations together (a total of 9 pax). Food was freshly served and excellent quality. It was my first time dining there and I was delighted with the menu options and prompt service. I will be back!

So-so katsu, portion is huge though and value for money. However, Ginza Anzu is some of the better standard katsu in town.
