More about the restaurant: The Halia at Raffles Hotel
Online booking is unavailable for weekday dinners. If you wish to book weekday dinners, please contact the restaurant directly.
The Halia at Raffles Hotel is the sister restaurant to The Halia at Singapore Botanic Gardens. It may not be in the middle of a ginger grove, but the Halia philosophy of sustainable, international fusion food persists – as does the distinctive flavour and aroma of the restaurant’s namesake, the ginger plant (ginger’s Malay name is halia). Neither does it sacrifice on location – located in Singapore’s iconic Raffles Hotel, on the ground floor of the Raffles Hotel Arcade, between the intersection of North Bridge Road and Seah Street just a stone’s throw from Esplanade MRT station, dining here is done in luxury.

Halia is the Malay word for ginger, and gives its name to a group of critically-acclaimed international restaurants: The Halia at Singapore Botanic Gardens, The Halia in Hanoi and, here, The Halia At Raffles Hotel, in the heart of the city right by Esplanade. The exoticism and warmth of the ginger plant inform all of The Halia’s menus, and in the ground floor arcade of Singapore’s famous Raffles Hotel, prominently located between the intersection of North Bridge Road & Seah Street, these qualities are augmented by an undeniable taste of luxury.
Here, diners are treated to inimitable Raffles hospitality, with menus featuring signature dishes such as the Singapore-style chilli crab spaghettini, Javanese spiced rack of lamb, the celeriac lasagna and Oriental pulled duck. Before or after dinner, treat yourself to a Hendrick’s Singapore Sling, The Halia at Raffles Hotel’s interpretation of the classic cocktail – a drink that can’t be missed in Singapore. Drinks are served at The Halia’s al fresco bar, where you can also check out a selection of handcrafted products from international brands such as Archipelago, Balvenie, Hendrick’s, Milagro and Reyka, and where your ears are treated to live jazz every Saturday night.
