We made a dinner reservation for 6 pax and left a comment that we needed a baby chair. On that day, the manager insisted that we did not ask for baby chair and they do not have one. It was only after we debated and they admitted that they did not read the comment box. It was a horrible experience

Sushi and sashimi are really really fresh and of premium quality. Especially love the Uni. Ordered the wagyu and foie gras don which is equally yummy !!

Delicate Japanese food, not so delicate service. Celebrated my dad's birthday, the restaurant didn't try to make anything special like other restaurants. Food wise, Seafood Truffles Chawamushi and Wagyu Foie Gras is must order! Unagi Don and Teriyaki Salmon is just mediocre. Pricy but nothing special, Tatsuya or Teppei is better anytime.

Had the waygu don. The meat was not as fatty I have expected. But the cook was perfect. Enjoyed the meal there. Would visit again.

Ordered Omasake and Wagyu Don. Food quality is good except the desert where the grape is local (very sour and astringent) instead of the Japanese grape. Staff cold and detached. Can't make recommendations on their own dishes. No smiles and looking very stoned. Asked for a new cup of green tea, instead served a scalding hot diluted tea. Told they are closing their restaurant in a condescending manner. Really lack of service awareness.

The food was good, tried many different exotic food today and the service was good too. Ambience was good for both of us to celebrate our 7th anniversary. Will be back.

Good food, similar repetoire. We were seated at the area with tables, usually for families, etc. Tables felt a little small for party of 6. Possibly better to seat 6 adults at the counter.

The premium Wagyu beef don was fantastic. The flavours were robust. Although the portion size looked small at first. But the quality richness of the foie gras and onsen egg really fills you up with this power packed protein dish.

Quiet joint, definitely worth revisiting. Service was so so, but the food made up for it. Will definitely visit again. Perhaps complimentary parking for guests that drive might be a good idea!

To be honest the service was very disappointing, which was very surprising as this is my second time there and the first time was very good. I asked to move the tables to fit 15 ppl and after explaining it wouldn't work, they then said we could do it...but when we had moved the tables (and made my 90 yr old grandmother get out of the way) they said it wouldn't be possible because of the trays the sets would be served on...and we had to move them back. Did they make us move the tables just to prove a point? Also when the food came it was timed all over the place (and didn't come on trays). Without the trays we could have squeezed around the tables. Not a great birthday experience for my mom.

Exterior looks nice but interior lacks the same oomph as the tables and chairs look very makeshift. Food is also average and lunch companion remarked that the unagi don has too many bones

Great quality, great service but maybe too much attention to the customer: 4 people staring at you while you are trying to eat your sushi is creepy. Definitely too expensive. Limited wine list: it goes from a cheap to a very expensive bottle, with no mid range options. Overall positive and Chef Patrick Ian is amazing! To try once.

for food- 5 out of 6. food is really fresh, delicious. chefs are pleasant and courteous. however, the service of service staff is really lacking. there's a bone in the sashimi but server (should be the manager who is a lady as she is in a black jacket) wasn't the least apologetic nor offer any form of replacement. also not pleasant and just off-putting. 0 out of 6 for service!

The sashimi was a bit of a disappointment because it was slightly tough but the mains and desserts are spectacular as always. LOVED the truffle wagyu beef don

We are very please and satisfied with the food quality. Ordered their standard & premium Omakase sets. The freshness of the sashimi especially Uni and Ikura just blow our minds. However, the Premium Omakase should have Otooro instead of Chutooro. Both standard and premium Omakase sets should include tried food like tempura instead of serving 1 set of raw sushi and 1 set of cooked sushi.

We ordered a Hokkaidon each. The don was pretty small portion even for a girl. We started to feel hungry after 3 hours. Moreover, the quality of sashimi was just OK. There are many nice Japanese restaurants in Singapore and this is not on my list for return.

Ingredients are fresh and waiting time for serving is reasonable. High satisfactory for WAGYU TO FOIE GRAS DON and UNAGI DON. Personally feel that 12 pieces of sashimi for $80 is a little over-priced.

Great restaurant with good service. Food was good . Head chef takes great pride in making and presenting his food. Just a note though.... music selection could be more appropriate. They had jazz music going on. Would recommend the place!

Service was attentive and prompt. The wagyu don was tasty. Unfortunately, I found a long strand of hair in my sashimi (which I had to extract from my mouth). Likely an isolated incident, though that marred the entire experience.

Amazing wagyu don, the truffle soy sauce is really delightful. Favourite has to be the Truffle seafood chawanmushi, Sushi Jin's food quality is superb! The service staff are also very attentive and an overall pleasant experience.
