Sushi Jin

We all know that Sushi Jin is good from the many reviews that you can find online from various bloggers to regular people like me alike. I made the reservation there for my wife's birthday, and in the comments, I made known to them that we are celebrating her birthday and that it would be great if they can include a special dessert / cake or what not at then end of the omakase meal. A few things I expect a restaurant to tell me - 1) Get back to me to inform me they have received my request and whether or not they are able to do it. 2) Let me know if there are going to be extra cost involved if they were to specially make it. 3) If they can't, provide an option, or simply tell me they're not able to make it happen. Any of these would have been perfect and thus, make the dinner simply that much more enjoyable.

Excellent quality of ingredients. Good value lunch sets. Quiet beauty in presentation. Low key service and quiet enough to talk. 2nd time here (last occasion was dinner) Will return.

we ordered a lunch omakase, hokkaido don and wagyu foie gras don. food was good, however service was lacking. for the price you pay you definitely expect better service. there are other jap restaurants out there tt serves quality jap food too and much better service.

Food was good. Place was a bit small. Service was most excellent. Dislike quandoo's requirement to have minimum number of words. Boo boo boo boo

Great omakase at decent price. The service was attentive and good. Wait staff explained all dishes when serving. The other guests were a bit loud but there another the staff could do.

The food was nice, the service is good. Just find its location is kind of weird as its in the same building as hospital. The price is a bit pricey for the food.

Had a good time at Sushi Jin. Made a reservation for 6 through Quandoo. On the actually day, staff at Sushi Jin made a call to remind and confirm the booking. Although the sitting arrangement was quite cramp, but the food was good. Would definitely go back again.

Great food and prices. Ambiance was slightly affected by the close proximity of the tables + echoing. Food overall was fresh and highly recommended to go for their full course omakase.

Food is above average and commensurate with the prices charged. Fairly good selection of sakes. Ambience is reasonable. Service is prompt but not at a level in keeping with this standard of restauarant.

Had the Omakase dinner with my cousin! Fantastic! It was amazing looking at the chefs preparing the food from our seats at the counter!:) thumbs up! Fresh food, nice ambience, just fantastic! Will be back for sure!

Service was ok. Food was good but would be better if the wagyu beef was not so thinly sliced. Portion was on the smaller side given the steep price of $40.

The sushi & sashimi were fresh... the wagyu don with onsen egg is a must try (would have been even better if the truffle was stronger). Love the surprise birthday cake for my daughter, which was delicious.

It was a great experience dining there as always. Our third time there. We really like their platter of aburi sushi. Will definitely be back.

Disappointing service by a Filipino woman initially but thankfully got better when served by the manager. According to the restaurant, we couldn't request for counter seats because we booked through quandoo instead of calling the restaurant directly. Defeats the purpose of using this app.

consistent quality their maki's are good - they do not use mediocre ingredients and try to hide it in a roll - as many restaurants do

Yum wish more varieties of fish - service was ok if a little hurried. Seating is limited so need to consider that when booking table

We had the lunch sets (Sashimi Set, Hokkaido Don, and Kaisen Don) and sushi (Chutoro, Ootoro, Botan Ebi, and Uni). The seafood were all very fresh and delicious!

They gave a bar counter for birthday celebration.. Sort of dissapointing.. But food wise is good. Price is still consider reasonable. Love the foie gras

The sushi was amazing and the service was excellent. The Omakase is a good way to try out the food. We thought that the torched sushi was especially delicious.

Came to Sushi Jin with high hopes as they are under Les Amis group, but quite disappointed with their $130 omakase set. Absolutely nothing to rave about.

Sashimi is fresh and range for omakase is good. Price is reasonable for the quality served. Ambience and service were as expected - top range.

Was sitting in front of the chefs. Quiet and cosy atmosphere. Service was really fast and attentive too. Will definitely return for omakase next time!

Food was awesome and the sous chef was very professional. However, the service from the other staff needs improvement. I had expected them to be more polite given the standard and setting of the restaurant.

One of the best Waygu dons I have tried. Delicious. Love the foie gras. Fuss-free reservation made using Quandoo. Made just the night before with almost instant confirmation.

Fuzz free and convenient restaurant to locate! Street parking available if you want to avoid expensive parking fees in the hotel itself. Would patronise again!

Fantastic sushi at reasonable prices. Someone else who recommended the restaurant to me said, "6-star sushi at 4 star prices". Very true and then some!

Food was really good and I enjoyed the torched sushis! I also appreciate that I was given a table at the corner which I requested at the point of reservation. Service was great as well.

Tried their Jin Omasake. Food is great. Love their sushi. Service is great. Waiter is attentive to your needs. Love their ambience. Will return to eat again.

Great service from the restaurant, but the food is obviously the star of the show here. I thoroughly enjoyed my meal, and would definitely be back again. My favourite was the tai carpaccio. I think I will probably order one just for myself the next time, haha!

Very Fresh Sushi & Sashimi, very Recommended. Choose for the Special Omakase. Our Family is quite impressed. Looking forward to having it again the next time we visit Singapore

Friendly staff but was slightly disappointed that the truffle chawanmushi didn't have anymore shaved truffle! However they prepared a nice dessert for my husband who was celebrating his birthday. Thanks!

Excellent fresh sushi in a nice atmosphere. Conveniently located next to the Farrer Park mrt station, it is really easy to get to and the food is really delicious. The sushi set was outstanding and the selection of sushi had enough variety to be satisfying.

The restaurant was cosy yet had great ambience and good food, with great service. Seafood was fresh. I like the counter top sitting. Easy to locate outside the hotel.

Sushi and sashimi are really really fresh and of premium quality. Especially love the Uni. Ordered the wagyu and foie gras don which is equally yummy !!

My wife and I just returned from Tokyo after 10 days of great food and a fun holiday. So we tried Sushi Jin just to compare the freshest of the sushi and we were not disappointed. The food served was fresh and delicious, great ambience and good service. Highly recommended.
