Had the Omakase here, food was all well-prepared and fresh. Chef is kind and explained every dishes to us, really enjoyed our time here, will definitely go back again.
My 2nd visit to sushi jin and the food has never disappointed me. Great food and service was prompt as well. what more can i ask for?
Lovely lunch omakase at Sushi Jin! The sashimi and sushi were so fresh and nice! Ordered additional ala carte tempura moriawase and the truffle seafood chawanmushi, both good especially the latter! So yumz! Will definitely return again and there are friendly dishes for the kiddos too. Will bring kiddos next round.
Great value for the omakase dinner set. Go for the 2 cooked dish than the 1 cooked.
Excellent food and service. Tried the signature wagyudon with foei gras and has become one of my absolute favourite dishes here.
One of my favourite Japanese restaurant. Esp their lunch set! Super super worth it
Lunch set excellent value for menu and wide variety of choices, from rice bowls, sushi, sashimi and omakase. Will definitely be back. Easy access with MRT.
Food is great. My companions loved it! Chefs are friendly and attentive. The restaurant also offered a complimentary dessert for birthday celebration. Will definitely return.
Very good. We had the omakase and every morsel was delicious. Being a smallish restaurant, the Chef also took the time to explain the types of fish and seafood available. The hamachi looked fantastic and I was very tempted to order an extra portion of hamachi sashimi. Luckily I didn't as the portions for the omakase was very well judged and we finished the meal feeling nicely full.
Great service, superb value for the omakase. Used to go to one of the more ‘reknowned’ places but stopped since they upped their prices significantly. This is my new favorite.
We ordered 1 chutoro sashimi, very thick slices and tender. 2 set lunch of Hokkaido don and yakiniku don. All are fresh and of superb standard. Waitress is attentive.
Decent quality of food at a reasonable price for high end dining. However nothing really outstanding about the restaurant compared to others out there. May consider trying the omakase at if returning in the future
Sushi Jin markets itself as a Japanese joint, which offers a six star premium dining experience, but at a very reasonable four-star price tag. While still pricey, it is value for money in my opinion.
The chef would prepare the food after u order n in front of u. Food was delicious
Great service and food. Would go there again. Ingredients used were fresh and displayed nicely. Worth the price if you are going for the set lunch package.
Delicious aburi sushi, friendly chefs, and fantastic price point! Have been back many times since the first.
The selection for the lunch omakase set was slightly better than average. Service was ok, although we had to wait for a long while before dessert was served. Price is on the high side.
We ordered their set lunches, wagyu set, Hokkaido set and Kaisen don set. The wagyu beef melt in the mouth and had the right amount of truffle taste on it. The Hokkaido set came with generous amount of uni and scallops. Kaiden don had thick fish slices and a huge botan Ebi. Definitely worth the price tag. Will surely come back for more
food was delicious, service was fast. flavour of rice was intricate - yuzu for hokkaido don and sweet sauce for wagyu and foie gras don. will definitely visit again!
The food at Sushi Jin is undeednof good quality and worthed the money. Just hope the staff could be more actively make suggestions for any new dishes that we could try. This will make a more personal appeal to the diners. My experience, they let us choose from menu.
have been here at least 10 times. we never order anything fancy, but for the basics, they get it right. their rice is always cooked to the right consistency and the fish hs never let us down. my children love the wagyu don ( with truffle oil/ salt ) and their maki's. will be back again
A nice quiet restaurant that is not very busy during lunch time. The omakase is worth it and food is generally very fresh. Service is outstanding as well.
Nestled in Owen Link, getting there was breeze and parking was ample. Nice ambience, attentive service staff, quality of food exceeded our expectations and tasted great!
Restaurant with nice food (especially tempura and very fresh sashimi). The chefs are professional, but the service perfomance of waitresses is average. Staff attitudes can be improved.
The food was so average. Felt like I was eating at a slightly more high class version of ichiban boshi - a lot of aburi sushis and salmons, not a traditional omakase
Went to try omaske for lunch which is quite affordable. Quality of the food is good but not unexpected because it is leamis ran after all. I would recommend.
Great service, great food, great ambience. We tried the cod fish, teriyaki unagi, assorted tempura and all were delicious. Servers also helped to keep and bring out a slice of cake which i brought in before the restaurant was open at 6.30pm. Lovely service and food.
We had a nice omakase meal. The sashimi was very fresh. The rice was good quality but nothing to shout home about. Ambience and decor was rather basic and a bit lacking. Service was good but again not memorable. Toilets were far away outside the restaurant.
Table was ready the moment we entered, food was service in a very prompt manner and the quality was superb as always. Will definitely come back again
Had the Omakase set. A bit pricey but Overall the Food was excellent. Service staff need to be a bit more knowledgeable in providing information about the omakase.
Love bara chirashi don! We tried wagyu to foei gras don at it tastes wonderful too. The ootoro sashimi so fresh and worth every penny.
Great place and great food. We had the omakase. I tried it before and was very impressed. Brought wife and son and they loved it!
My family went there for a birthday celebration. Place is rather small but cost. Great service and food. Good value for sushi and sashimi. Will visit again.
Food quality is normal but seating is rather uncomfortable cos of the small space.
Fresh ingredients used & nice ambience .. truly a gem which is away from the bustling city .. abundance of parking available and a great variety of lunch set to choose from 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
The food was fresh and the chefs were very attentive. We really love the ambience of a cozy restaurant too. Would definitely come back again
Got the omakase lunch set. For the price it was quite good. Sushi was the highlight with some creative touches. Definitely consider getting a sushi omakase instead of the standard fare.
Location is easy to find but I find the food pricey in terms given the quantity and quality.
I recalled having amazing off menu foie gras otoro maki and was craving for it. I bough my client along as it was her birthday. Perfect place for business lunch. value for quality lunch & conducive for discussion.
The restaurant offers quality food. The level of service is good. It is right along the link so it is easy to locate the place.
The kaisen don included chutoro, Uni, ebi and 2 crab claws (from frozen, but still pretty sweet). The fish was fresh but the slices were a little thin, and I'd have liked the rice a little firmer. The lunch set included miso soup (good) and dessert (2 small slices of sweet watermelon, 3 grape halves and a petit-four-sized cheesecake (average). Counter seating only which made conversation awkward as we were 3 for lunch. Service was ok if a little impersonal.
Would have been better if I can have a corner seating and a call back on the actual day before the lunch to confirm the book could be a good thing But overall the experience was a positive one.
Pop by during lunch time and had the Omakase lunch set. The food was very fresh, portion could be better if it was increased. Service - staff was very attention and prompt. Overall it was a very positive experience there! Thumbs up!
The food is really great! The people are nice and friendly, and it is a very nice place to sit in with friends for dinner.
The food at Sushi Jin was really amazing. The aburi sushi literally melted in our mouths. The restaurant was quaint and quiet too. We really enjoyed ouselves. Thank you!
The food was all right, nothing to shout about. I was expecting more in terms of creativity and quality, since it is under the Les Amis group. I had the Hokkaido don for lunch. It was just seasoned Japanese rice, topped with uni/scallops/ikura/tobiko/yakitamago, something which most good homecooks can easily replicate at home.
Not really value for money. Prices are on the steep side. Expected better in terms of taste. Service was excellent though. Lacks the atmosphere of a omakase restaurant
Great experience and good service from the crew. Like the food that was ordered and selection of food. Staff were friendly and warm towards us.
Overall its a good experience, the service is good and the food are fresh. Slightly on the pricey side though, but will recommend it to my friends.
Good food and service at Sushi Jin. We went there on Sunday and we tried the salmon and roe, the unagi, pork and beef set lunches. Everyone said that their set lunch was tasty. Parking was easy too.
