Great service and the food was great! Thanks to the service crew and chefs for making my birthday celebration for my special one a memorable one!
Value for money set lunches. Good ambience. Will definitely come back and recommend to friends
Both food and service were good, they even gave a complimentary slice of cake when they knew we were celebrating a birthday.
We ordered 4 Omakase Lunch Set. All the items are fresh and nicely done, wanting to have more of it but of course it's a 80SGD Set which
good service! very impressive & fresh sushi. Great! Great! Great! Great! Great! Great! Great Great thumbs ups! Staffs very quick & a birthday cake for my friend.
Food was really good and fresh! The place was very nice and cozy too. I will definitely go back again next time to dine there.
Nice place and nice food. Location is near mrt station and staff is friendly and helpful. Service is excellent. Price is ok, would say it is value for money.
Tried Premium Wagyu Don ($88) and Mini Wagyu Don ($45) - everything was cooked perfectly from the done-ness of the beef to the onsen egg. The rice was especially good.
Great restaurant. Nice food , a bit pricey but awesome taste
2nd time Sushi Jin. Enjoyed the omakase dinner the 1st time, Chef Patrick chatted with diners. Returned for lunch this round, had the wagyu don which was very good, service staff was attentive too.
Professional service and nice setup when with the utensils we used. Food quality is good and portion is much. Worth for money. Location is very convenient.
consistently good. we come almost every other week set lunch includes few pieces of aburi sushi so if you do not like aburi style sushi, it's better to order a la carte
Quality of food is good and I like the ambience. Service is fast and smooth. For certain food, however the price seem abit expensive. I will come back again!
quiet interior. great to seat at the counter and watch the sushi chef in action. quality of food is good although the prices are a little steep. their cha soba will be better if served on ice
First let me start by saying the food was great. Good value, good quality, absolutely nothing to complain. The restaurant was well set-up and fittings / furnishings were in good standard too. However, what made me deduct a couple points here is the way staff were conversing with one another be it in between chefs or between floor staff amongst each other. For an nice Japanese omakase setting restaurant, I felt that it was inappropriate for staff to be conversing with each other loudly in cantonese over the counter or across the restaurant such that I could hear every single thing that they were saying. Also, the sake descriptions used by the wait staff was inaccurate. One would need to know a little about reading sake labels before ordering sake here.
An overall good dining experience but pricing is on the high side VS quality provided. Maybe it is because I am comparing against Japanese food quality and pricing in HK which is my primary home.
Food's good, especially the cod! The dragon roll maki sushi that we ordered had a refreshing yuzu taste, which was very diferent from the ones we've had before!
Incredible food and service. The Wagyu beef was incredible. Don't forget to ask for the Sashimi platter; compiled with a plate of fresh Sashimi all picked by the Chef. Tempura incredible too.
Went for lunch as a birthday celebration for my boyfriend. It had a great quiet ambience. Not to mention the food was delicious! Had the omakase which was well worth. Seafood was fresh, seasoning was perfection, and service was top notch as well. Great value for the lunch!
highly recommended to people who wish to try omakase for the first time!
Good food with extraordinary atmosphere! Staff were nice and helpful!
This is my second time here, tried their dinner the first time and now back for lunch, and the food never disappoints. Do check with them for some interesting off menu items!
Great atmosphere, easy to find, sushi was very fresh, my 2 boys enjoyed it. Good for family lunch. Surprisingly it wasn't busy at Sunday lunch.
food is good, very fresh seafood. cooked food is nice too. service is good. everything is good. However, it can be a little pricey. but still highly recommended!
Great value for money and food quality for lunch. Will definitely come back again for dinner.
Food quality is extremely good. Their price for lunch set is affordable. Will definitely go back for dinner in the near future. Double thumbs up.
Had the Chirashi Don Set for lunch and the seafood ingredients were fresh, and the service was attentive. If I were to nitpick, it is that the fish can be thicker and the rice portion can be bigger.
Another great meal at Sushi Jin. Had the Wagyu Foie Gras Don lunch set today. It didn’t disappoint. Perfectly cooked and not over-sauced like in most other restaurants. The uni sushi I ordered to satisfy my craving was also well done. Looking forward to my next visit.
There was a rat in the restaurant when we visited. The service in handling the situation was terrible. I'll never go back again. Food was mediocre too.
Food was excellent as usual. The sushi chefs worked with precision and gave great service! The Omakase lunch was indeed value for money ! Our to go place for a sushi fix!
Really enjoyed our experience there - particularly enjoyed the sushi rice, which was nicely warm and well formed. Every piece was a delight. I particularly liked watching the sushi chef work with deft hands.
Nice place, nice ambience and good service. Tried the beef don, sushi set and uni and scallop don, not too bad. However, the salad was too salty. Overall, nice try.
Very good food. Reasonably priced, good ambience and suitable for business meetings. Food was a bit slow to arrive though. Menu options quite limited too.
Requested for a quiet corner for a business lunch and was provided one. Second time back there, food is good like the first time. Will go back again.
Unagi don was not very flavorful. Wagyu don is nice and has a lot of flavour. The beef is also cooked well. Sashimi is ok but not amazing
nice ambience. food quality is really good. had the wagyu beef slices and foe grais. so tender and melt in the mouth. pricey but worth it. highly recommended.
The food was Ok. Rather smallish portions for the price, personally found the rice overly vinegary. Fish was fresh. Service staff were ok. Not particularly memorable.
location a bit out of the way but had a great experience. will return!
The food was reasonably priced for the quality. we ordered the $80 omakase menu ~ which had a salad, grilled sea bream and 5-6 pieces of sushi. dessert was a simple scoop of ice cream.
This is my first time dining at Sushi Jin. It was a nice experience and the quality of the food is good. Service was good too.
Food is great. Had the wagyu beef with foe gras. Nice and tender. Price on the high side but it was really Worth the value.
The food and sake was great and the Sous chef Desmond was very friendly. Will recommend that you try the Omakase, if budget is not an issue.
Fresh sashimi. Price is on the expensive though so visit occasionally only.
It was great, went there for lunch. The service was prompt and the food was delicious. Highly recommend it to anyone who likes japanese food.
Great neighborhood sushi spot, high quality ingredients, good service, great omakase menu. We'll be coming back to try the interesting a la carte dishes and the lunch.
Very good, premium food. We had omakase set. Worth to try it at least once. Staff is very attentive to your needs. Will be back again.
Brought a client there, the food is absolutely fantastic and I could not ask more from the service staff. Will definitely visit again when I have the opportunity
The lunch set is very worthy and reasonable pricing and delicious. The staff are very friendly. Enjoyed my lunch with my colleagues there. Thank you.
Excellent! The beef don was great and we had a couple of sides which were also very good, for eg the pufferfish, the spider maki and the truffle chwanmushi.
Food was good. Service a bit sluggish but that seems to be the situation everywhere in singapore given the labor shortage. Price was reasonable given the quality. Wish the table seating area is less crammed though.
