Good food, nice ambience but rather pricey. We loved the meatballs and paella. Many of the dishes are spicy but they do have a kids menu (which we did not look at). Great place for a night out with friends or as a couple, but also works as a 'fancy' place to dine at with kids for a special occasion.
Servers were kind. The lunch set menu was good value to order..
The food was good esp the taco soft shell crab, king prawn with papaya salad & seafood paella. The Shirley Sangria was refreshing as well. Staff were very attentive and friendly. I will be back.
The environment was great, friendly staffs. Food was awesome but was kind of disappointed with the wine. In all, it was a great experience and definitely would come back again.
We enjoyed a lazy afternoon tea a la carte tapas experience...food overall was good, the highlight the duck parcels and the squid, but a little over salted. Parma lovely.. I'd be adding bread or grissini to accompany as you would in Parma or San Daniele, but service excellent. Easily return. Wine.. Like too many places here, just mental prices for very so so wine. Mangan Tarrawarra Pinot retails around $25... Put it on for $65, you sell a bucket load . Not $88. Just a tip.
Table allocated under reservation was not well located, too close to other tables, not conducive to private discussions. They moved me, so that was resolved.
It's creative cuisine in here, a mix a spanish style tapas and australian modern cuisine. The food was really nice. The tapas are savoury and service was fine. Just a little bit pricey.
Great atmosphere! Will come back for more dining next time. Experienced the Happy hour - nice casual selection of food, beer and wine. Pricing also s lot casual than imagined.
The place ran out of Chorizo. The fries were the frozen fries, still soggy with Truffle oil out over them. The element of Spanish was missing, but that's my faulty that I assumed the restaurant to be Spanish Tapas. The sangria was nothing like I've ever had before. To unfortunately cant rank it higher than 2. but the staff were very helpful, seeing the quality fries they offered to take that off the menu even through I didn't request it.
This restaurant seemed a bit confused about what it was. Service was a bit slow, the wine selection was decent, and the food was acceptable, although generally uninspired - not bad, but not great either. This place squarely fits in the "eat here if you are in the area and need to eat" but certainly isn't worth travelling for. There are many better options in singpore which offer better food, ambience and service at a similar price level.
Great restaurant for the 3-course set lunch at $26. Rather quiet during this time, which gives it a relaxed vibe. The set menu has a great selection too.
The food was great especially the churros. Music was a bit loud though, would have been better if the music could be lower down. Servers was good, paying attention to you while they are walking around. It was a good overall experience.
Great buzz around the place, pretty packed for Wed night. More a place for happy hour chill out ... Not romantic date. The paella was delightful. The curried roasted pumpkin was a total disappointment . The pumpkin bits came chopped up, Soaked in oil ... Topped with something that tastes like ricotta cheese. Luke Mangan you need to review what your restaurants are doing .
Fabulous as usual.. Has always been a wonderful experience have drinks and dining at Salt at Raffles City. We would definitely continue going back there again and again.
My first time at the restaurant and it has a pleasant ambience. Good value lunch sets with good size food servings. Service is also good.
Great food! I would definitely go back. Only small issue was servers were not great in English.
Salt Tapas & Bar is an excellent place for lunch, dinner or drinks. I have been there several times for different occasions and have found the staff to be accommodating and friendly. I will definitely be going back. The prices are reasonable too, especially the set lunch menu.
Had a wonderful experience here on a Sunday night. Food was great; I had the chili salt and pepper squid, taco tempura (must have!) and pulled pork sliders (soft, soft meat!!) for starters and the paella and pork ribs (again, to die for) for mains. I also had the dulce de leche & salted pecan semifreddo and churros w nutella sauce and orange mamalade - both of which ended my meal perfectly. Also, the service was very friendly and prompt and the atmosphere had a great chill out vibe.
The food was quite tasty and the staff was very friendly. The volume of the music rose, as the dinner crowd arrived, making it a bit hard to carry on a conversation over dinner.
The flavour of the Salt & Pepper squid was a great balance with some nice spice and heat, the sashimi was also very well done.
Food was pretty awesome! If you are there for snacks, there are a lot of small portion dishes for sharing. Mains are available as well!
The food was fabulous - well presented and delicious. Wine list offered a variety of options as well. Service was wonderful from attentive staff. Thanks
Nice and good ambience. Food is served promptly with reasonable waiting time. Must try their truffle fries! The pork ribs are soft and tender and seafood paelle is flavorful. staff are attentive and overall a great dining experience.
Experience totally marked down as friendliness and service needs a lot of improvement. Good quality food, though churros was disappointing. Nice ambience. Prices are slightly steep.
Excellent value lunch menu, although my friend wanted something that was not on the list ( their delicious chicken liver and for gras parfait) so she had a la carete. The service was attentive without being intrusive. It was a little noisy from the traffic, but all in all a nice experience.
Food is lower than expectation, but the Manager indeed good at managing the restaurant.. Thumbs up for the manager but No No No for food..
Great and cosy! my friends love the place and foods. Atmosphere is good and food is great! Will bring more friends and family to the restaurant.
Great food. Love the pork belly sliders and chicken liver foie gras. Sangria was lovely. Slow in getting the bill. Environment was a little noisy.
Good food and excellent services ! Love it cozy environment Will visit again just a bit pricy and hopefully can create better music with more vibe
Always see this restaurant at the corner of rafflescity but didn't step in before. Brought a friend for her birthday dinner treat and surprisingly The food impressed us. We really like the paella and pork ribs!
Foods were ok. The background music was too loud though.
Food was mediocre, service was poor. Expect a far better experience from a Luke Mangan restaurant. Waiter had no idea what he was doing. Wine arrived well into our main course. Cocktails tasted like cordial.
The food was good with many choices for the set menu. Service was quick, attentive, warm and friendly. Will definitely patronise Salt Tapas in the near future.
Nice cosy ambiance. Friendly service.A wide variety of delicious food, but it is not cheap. Average spending is about 50-60 sgd per pax. Good choice for a night out with pals.
We had a great birthday dinner. Food was delicious and yummy! Definitely going back there again! The atmosphere there was great and nice. It was also easy to locate.
Great drinks, great food, and fast service, which is the ideal combination. Their Sangrias are one of the best in Singapore. I was disappointed though to see that their serving portions are getting smaller.
The staffs are very helpful and friendly. Foodwise, I would say not bad. Had a few tapas although I have to say the churros were only ok. Not a great place for quiet chat as the whole premise is quite small and the tables are quite close to one another.
The chilli and salt squid was excellent. Should definitely try it. As it was Sunday, they had the brunch menu, eggs Benedict were decent. Nothing special.
Excellent food, good service, quick, great value, affordable... best food we had all week in Singapore! Recommend it highly to anyone who likes Tapas or just after a good meal
Was a very pleasant experience. Service was top notched and ambiance was ideal for a intimate dinner and/or date. Would definitely return for more! The paella was geat
