Mooks Thai Bistro has enjoyed success at its heartland Singapore location in Bukit Batok, and now it’s moving downtown – to Chinatown to be precise – to offer its mix of Thai restaurant and bar culture to a whole new audience. The classic Thai-style dishes on the menu meet a small selection of Western dishes and bar nibbles, and are all prepared without using pork or lard for a 100% halal dining experience. Grab a mocktail or beer and some chicken wings, crispy calamari or German garlic sausages for a casual bite with friends, or go the full nine yards with Thai beef salad, classic Southeast Asian soups and seafood, Thai curries, rice and noodle dishes and a great selection of vegetarian dishes. This Smith Street restaurant needs an advance booking.
this quiet restaurant offers a really tast basil chicken rice set. it comes with a generous helping of basil chicken, sides of mini spring rolls and a nice red ruby dessert
The staff was very friendly however I would no go there again. Had chicken with Cashew Nuts. The chicken was not of good quality and the taste was not really good. Only very few nuts in there as well. Didn't have the feeling that the choice of restaurant was a good one. Better to eat something on the food market which is directly in front.
