Megumi Japanese Restaurant – Joo Chiat Road

Shifted from siglap to katong. This is quite an old establishment. Food is still not too bad. The price is a bit on the high side.

Staff were very helpful and provided great service. Food was decently priced for quality, but wish portion was a tad bigger to fully savor what they had to offer. Will visit again. Ambience might be a bit noisy indoors though

Food quality is pretty decent. N service is good. Only gripe is the price is slightly on the higher side. But still a nice dining experience

order beef udon and seafood noodle, beef udon taste light, seafood noodle soup just nice not creamy or salty. environment quite nice. need to reservation .

Quick and good service. The food was tasty and, and parkign was convenient with parking available right in front of the shophouse. Would go there again.

As usual great food with great choices. Place is crowded so reservations are a must. Ambiance is good as the place is new and renovated since it's move from Siglap.

Food was good but slightly pricey, would be great if prices were more affordable. Cosy environment and attentive staff. Will definitely visit this place again. New location is also very convenient.

The way that the food comes is not correct as we got our noodles before we had our other appetizers. In fact, our gyoza which is an appetizer was totally forgotten and we had to remind them that we still have the appetizer not served yet before they quickly arrange for it. Other than this, the food is quite good and the prices are reasonable.

Quality of food was great. Variety could increase. Small but always crowded restaurant.

The food never disappoints as usual. A good jap place to go in the east. Car park at the new place is a challenge though.

Food quality is above average. Customer service and speed of food preparation need to be improved. Marketing shall promote more on value/promotional meals. The price is abit of high side.

Food is served fresh and hot. Really enjoyed the food. However, its sad that the restaurant is moving to Joo Chiat. Hope the new place is easy to locate. Overall experience is enjoyable and service was good and fast.

Food is always consistently good...fresh quality produce. Usually go for the same thing - UFO maki, agedashi tofu, bento etc. Always very enjoyable - nice ambiance - very busy so it's worth booking. Unfortunately they're moving out of the neighbourhood but luckily not too far away - to Joo Chiat road at the end of the month.

Staff was nice and friendly. Was being attended to pretty fast. Service was good, up to standard. Food was even better, very nice. Fresh salmon belly & grilled salmon head.

Simple family restaurant serving a variety of Japanese food - ramen, tempura, sashimi, hot pot and hot stone bowls. Couldn’t eat sashimi this time, but saw that the neighbouring tables had pretty fat slabs of fish!

Service was good and chirashi don was thickly sliced. Wouldn’t mind returning.

Never before has a restaurant ticked all the boxes. Really high quality food, perfect ambience, very very very attentive staff. And best of all... at neighborhood prices

Been eating here for almost 10 years. Its consistently good. Highly recommend.especially like the makis, tempura, salad, beef saikoro steak. Udon is great too. Will come again
