Food was great though pricey. Service was very disappointing. They seemed to be overwhelmed by the Dimsum buffet crowd. When my table requested for menu and informed that we were ready for order, the lady wait staff rudely lamented to us that she will need to do this and do that before she can come back to us for order. We were not rushing her or anything! Furthermore when she was pouring the tea, she did not preempt us and she simply reached over to the teapot and poured the tea whilst guests were on their phones. It could have turned into a disaster if one were not careful.
The eggplant served in claypoy was spicy and savoury. It went well with rice.
Very good food and friendly staff. Will return soon 😊
We had the 6-course "fir" menu and liked it a lot, especially the lobster with chilli and garlic.
The ambience this evening was perfect. The service was attentive and an improvement from the previous visit.
Marvellous food and great service! Love the nice birthday buns presentation!
Excellent Chinese cuisine I have ever eaten. But I feel a little noisy.
fast food service and food options were good. price is high though
Excellent restaurant, la cuisine est vraiment de très grande qualité, avec un service très bon. Un peu cher, mais étant donné la qualité de l’endroit c’est normal, un très bon moment passé en famille.
The lotus root oriental soup was a great appetiser to a fantastic Chinese style dinner.
I had lunch with my wife and a friend at Man Fu Yuan restaurant at noon. This was the first time my friend joined me and she said the food was delicious and that she would recommend her sons and friends to patronize Man Fu Yuan restaurant.
The booking via Quandoo was seamless. Service and food at Man Fu Yuan were amazing. Awesome selection from the Tim Sum buffet menu. Dad was delighted by a surprise birthday cake from the restaurant!
Great experience, Very attentive service despite busy lunch time. Probably, I made the reservation a day before, so we were provided at the entrance table, which was less privacy. Next time, we will make a reservation earlier and get more confortable table, hopefully.
The scallops were fresh and juicy. The texture was perfect and went well with the rest of the dishes.
The winter melon soup was double boiled to perfection. It was a great prelude to the oriental style dishes.
Service staff that served us seemed not enthusiastic to do his job. He didn't utter a word when asked for something, he didn't reconfirm the order nor any response. Food was average for a high class restaurant like MFY.
For such high expensive brand and well known Chinese restaurant, the dim sum serve is moderate. Glutinous Rice is tasteless, Crystal dumpling skin n ingredients separated, staff poured tea in tissue packet and did not bother to apologise. Overall food quality is bad n service is not to brands standards.
The service was good and the ambience enticing. The private room offered an exclusive dining experience.
The roast chicken was a little dry due to overfrying but the other dishes made up for it.
Upscaled Chinese food that's definitely unique. All dishes were good, but sadly, it was not a very Michelin Guide-worthy meal in my opinion. Nonetheless, ambience was perfect, service was welcomed (kudos to Rene Tam) and worth a visit for the vibes if money isn't a concern
The place has Good food at good prices and great services.
Really enjoyed chef's starter platter, it was outstanding. We also ordered pecking duck which was very nice. Service was great. It was just very cold in the restaurant, the aircon is set too low. The staff did their best to adjust the aircon but it took some time.
Great food and good customer service. Joanne and Xiao Ni very attentive and helpful.
The hor fun which was fried noodle was a let down. I wish the waiter would advise us 2 skinny diners from over ordering. In the end got to tabao what a shame.
The roast chicken was not as well prepared as usual. It was a little dry due to overheating and it affected the texture of the meat. However, the other dishes made up for the dining experience.
Service was great with a nice oriental backdrop. The tea selection was wide and catered to different palattes.
Staff are warm people but not well trained hence Average service Will not revisit
The ambience was not the most ideal with a busy Sunday night dining crowd. Nonetheless, the service and food quality was maintained.
It was a busy Sunday crowd but the service remained efficient and consistent.
Good place, nice food, best service and a clean restaurant
The roast chicken was a tad spicy but we were able to request for the paste to be put aside instead of directly into the dish.
Restaurant was smaller than I expected. Food was served pretty fast
The kitchen needs to be more cautious about dietary restrictions. Despite informing about an allergy to shrimp, this was still included in the fried rice. However, it was promptly replaced.
The herbal chicken soup was a great precursor to the tantalising meal. Dessert was well concluded with a blend of sweet treats.
acclaimed to be very good dim sum buffet and most expensive. but actually really lousy food
It was my MIL birthday and the restaurant made a surprise birthday cake for her. It came with a beautifully handwritten calligraphy birthday wishes with longevity buns.
Great service. The Irish duck was excellent. Sufficient wine selection.
The herbal jelly dessert and the chrysanthemum tea beverage paired well with the somewhat oily dishes and was a much needed respite from the seasonal heat.
The barbeque meat platter tasted fine and paired well with red wine. The private dining rooms were rowdy with many guests.
The Siu Mai and har gao is outstanding as is the char Siew. The beet root dumpling is unusual too . But the Siu Yok is a disappointment, the skin is not crispy and it is too salty. The xo carrot cake is too soft and not as good as some other restaurants. The pickled tomatoes are excellent .The plating and presentation is very good and service is attentive.
It was a good visit for the family to celebrate the festive occasion in advance.
It was a good visit for a family meal to celebrate the occasion.
great atmosphere. service staff is attentive and will pace the serving rate.
The soft shell crab was an excellent choice. It paired well with Oriental tea and whetted the palatte for dishes to follow.
Have dined a few times. Food quality and service never disappoint me.
The crabmeat fried rice was simply delicious. It paired extremely well with the Jasmine Oriental tea.
Had a great lunch today. Will definitely return and bring my family and friends!
The seafood noodles was delicious. the frshest ingredients were used, such as scallops and fish slices. The ambience was not fantastic, with rowdy guests.
The food tasted fine but the ambience was greatly compromised by two private events. Access to the restrooms were blocked and patrons had to use the one in the main building, which is highly inconvenient.
The staff like Maggie is attentive & good n the service is good
