Nice ambiance and good service. A bit difficult to figuar out the menus to us who are not familiar with Spanish food though. Grilled pork was nice to try.

Celebrated Father's Day here. Ambience was great - somehow quiet but with a good energy. Wonderful service too! Food was well-delievered but slightly overpriced. We absolutely loved the monkfish, pity that it is not a permanent fixture on the menu!

My Girlfriend and I have decided this is by far one of the best Spanish place to go. It is reasonably priced and food does not disappoint. Other Spanish places I have tried are usually more expensive for similar quality.

A lovely evening with friends. Food was delicious and service was prompt and friendly. When we made the rsvn we were told we would be seated outside as the indoor tables were all occupied . I asked them to try to fit us inside if they could and was pleasantly surprised when we arrived that they had managed to seat us indoors.

We always go there for lunch set meal which is value for money. The pasta paella is one of our favourite. Serving for each course is reasonably big.

Service staff was attentive and food was good. Will definitely go back for the Monkfish and Iberian pork. Monkfish portion of 1kg was a bit too much for 2 persons. Could have offered alternative servings. Overall, great dining experience. Would go back again.

We turned up 20 minutes earlier for our reservation and the restaurant still accommodated us. Unfortunately the first table/seats assigned to us is so close to the serving window that we were afraid my husband's long arms will eventually knock over any waiter with hot food. Being >1.8m, he had to "origami" his long legs... LOL. We expected better seats since we did the reservation more than a week in advanced and it is his birthday celebration after all. I guess the restaurant really wanted to please the larger crowd instead of couples (looking at its layout). The staff did eventually manage to find us a new table outdoor, thankfully it was a windy night. The food although slow to serve, is wonderful; especially the paella. Skip the desserts - we think it's ordinary at best.

My go to place for Spanish tapas. Cozy seats inside, consistent quality of food and good service staff. Maybe serving Alion by the glass would be my wish!

They took note of my request to reserve the lamb tapas and had served it soon after we were seated. They took note of my comment that it was a Father's day lunch - and wished my husband "Happy Father's Day" Attentive service, GREAT food. Will be back again, for sure !

Nice and affordable set lunch at $35++ with great ambience and quality. No wonder the restaurant is almost at full house during lunch time. Pan seared duck liver was awesome. Sherried onion soup is rich in taste. Ocean trout was fresh. Flavorful and tender kurobuta pork. Churros was crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside. Dark chocolate cake was a little heavy though. Comes with coffee, which you can order either cappuccino, latte or flat. Overall, it was a satisfying lunch.

Tried their seafood Paellaand chocolate marquise with pecan & almond, it was great. The waiters who waited our table, was not only very polite but also well-informed to make detailed descriptions of the dishes within the menu. Thank you for a great meal

I had an excellent lunch recently with a friend at La Taperia. We picked four items from the la carte menu as we wanted only tapas for lunch. We ordered a tomato salad ( lovely), seafood croquette ( so so I feel) , squid coated in crispy squid ink infused batter ( interesting and quite delicious), sizzling prawns ( very large sized prawns and fairly fresh), all eaten with some toasted bread. The portions were a big too much for the two of us but the dishes were fairly well done. I am impressed with the fact that they paced each dish so that the next dish is served only when we are done with the prior dish. We were well taken care of by a very helpful gentleman ( probably the manager) and his service staff. A very pleasant lunch indeed!

Experience was great. Would have been ideal of waitress who took our order advised us on whether we had ordered too much or not. We had to reduce the size of our last dish as we were full after the whole string of warm tapas.

We enjoyed the ambience of this casual restaurant. Their lunch menu was value for money, I ordered Gazpacho and found it very refreshing. The chocolate cake was very rich, and it really benefitted from a thick black expresso afterwards.

Food and service is average. -Gambas is very fresh but taste lack of depth. -Charcoal grilled lamb ribs is very good. -Suckling pig is quite good but the sides (peach and caramelised onion) and gravy on the dish were disappointing. too sweet!
