All the food we had was delicious; the prawns were fresh and well cooked, and the fried egg with straw potatoes were so good we ordered two portions! Special of the night was the porterhouse which was equally as good as the tapas. Service was good, but the food came out rather slowly which was a bit frustrating - our dinner took slightly over 2 hours!
Nice ambience and service was great! find the chicken paella we had a tad salty but love the freshly made churros yums!!! will come back to try the set lunch
This is my 3rd visit. But first time for my 5 guests. They all love the nite out. Service and food were superb! For some, its new cuisine. They were wondering if they will like the food. Turned out they all loved it. I was worried it might be too expensive for them. But they were happy with the pricing. Service is warm and friendly. Good nite out for the ladies. Thank you,
I've only been disappointed once by La Taperia - when they ran out of gambas which i love. The restautant was very good and we were very well served and the food was great!
Great location, staff very friendly and attentive. Food was very nice and good portion sizes. The suckling pig (serves 2) did take a while to arrive though. Pan seared snapper was very well cooked. Churros a great finish.
Amazing food, wonderful service, lovely casual ambience. The lamb was tasty, but the braised beef was to die for. I generally don't like braised beef, but this was beefy and luscious, and the dark chocolaye rounded the taste amazingly.
Great service and excellent food. The staff were attentive and thoughtful with the delivery of the dishes. The quality of the food is impressive. Recommended.
Had the best tapas, and an amazing lobster paella. Service was impeccable as well. Only grouse is its so popular that it's difficult to get seats. It's going to be one of my fav Spanish restaurants going forward.
Went for the set lunch on a Saturday afternoon. Nice atmosphere and very tasty food. Duck liver and Kurobuta was exceptional. Portions were generous. Worth a trip.
The ambiance and service at the restaurant were great. The price for the food was very reasonable. There was also a private dining area if there is a group of 6. We will definitely be back to try out other options on the menu.
Service was great food was great would definitely go again We ate a couple of tapas and one main. It was enough for a couple of people
We tried a selection of tapas. The grill beef was good, as was the prawns and crispy baby squids. Service was also good. Staff was generally attentive without being too imposing. The only gripe I had was that it was pretty crowded on a Friday evening and the tables were placed pretty close to each other. Otherwise it was a enjoyable evening.
Nice ambience, it is quiet on a weekday afternoon. The staff was really attentive and provide a very good service. The set lunch was a good deal. We had Gazpacho, hokkaido scallops, braised lamb shoulders, pork shoulder, churros and dark chocolate cake. The portions were generous and food was good. I will definitely come back again.
Food was excellent as usual, staff were friendly and attentive, cozy ambience! :-)
Chef recommedation's were one of the best dish which I have tried (comparing it to all other spanish restaurant in the region). Will definitely recommend others to try
My friend and I really like this restaurant, so we go back at least once a month; same table, same food and same service - all good!
We took the set lunch which we felt is reasonably priced. Quality of food was good - scallops and fish nicely cooked to right texture. Service was also attentive and personalised. Would definitely recommend to friends
Good food good quality. The Set lunches are worthwhile and value for money. The duck liver was great. Pork shoulder was tender and trout was fresh. Overall, a satisfied experience.
The selection of foods was various and service was superb. The decoration of the restaurant is very beautiful , definitely I will be back again.
Nice and comforting tapas. Casual and comfortable retreat after a busy dazzling shopping day. Tapas is decent and good portion. More authentic than I have expected. Try the ham and croqueta.
Great food and service as always. Manager was helpful giving us his recommendations on starters and mains. We ordered a few signature dishes to share and we enjoyed the lunch. Good food at reasonable prices.
William was attentive and quick with our requests. Food's good and sangria was delish! Will definitely return for dinner, to enjoy a longer a meal
Service was great, the food was great. We ordered the set lunch had the the kurobuta pork main which was amazing, definitely coming back again
Food and service are generally good. However, the place can be noisy, especially if there are groups celebrating birthdays, etc. Price - not overly expensive. The low rating? - we could barely hear ourselves over the din from a very noisy group. The management didn't do much about it, and barely apologised to us. And no one bothered to offer to make up for the clearly unbeatable experience on the night
The tapas there were all very good. It would be even better if there are more choices on the menu. Tables were a bit on the small size as space is limited.
Good selection of tapas, nice wine and great services. Good ambiance. Down point is having to pay for bread when order tapas dishes.
Good ambience. Value for money. Would visit again. Dessert was so so. But the main dishes were good. A great experience overall for first timers!
Second visit here and both times a pleasure. Friendly manager, great service staff and the food had always met expectations. The lunch set is really value for money and it is seldom you see lunch sets available on weekends!
Though there were 2 noisy birthday parties going on, service was still professional and attentive as always. Ordered our usual favorites viz suckling pig confit, squid ink paella, charcoal grilled beef, fried egg, etc. The quality of the food never disappoints.
Great value set lunch. Tapas were creative and deliciously executed! Service was prompt and warm. A rarity with a high occupancy restaurant with a tight service crew.
I like to go back to this restaurant as the food and service is very good. Location is also very convenient The ambience can get noisy though
Great authentic food and top notch service! Celebrating a 30th birthday party there. They gave us our own room without me requesting it. Very good atmosphere and ideal for our occasion. Highly recommend this restaurant to those who have visited Spain and want to experience Spanish authentic cuisine again.
The food was good, well-priced, arrived promptly. The service was attentive, careful, friendly. Portion size was good for 1 or 2. Will definitely go again, and will try out the lunch specials which seem like a terrific value-for-money! We were a bit unlucky though. A large group sat in the "private" area next to us, but as it didn't have walls, we were overwhelmed by the noisy merrymaking which gradually became louder as the effects of alcohol settled in. Without that large group, the atmosphere would've been quiet, cozy and intimate enough for me and my wife.
Good food always. Tried the sangria for the first time and enjoyed it very much. Prices are still reasonable but customers may not tolerate if it goes up again
Awesome food at La Taperia, the usual. It is one of my favorite Spanish restaurants in Singapore. Their service was fast and prompt as well.
Superb food that amazed me with its taste. Great ambience and waiters/waitresses are really attentive with good service. Will definitely visit again for great Spanish food!😊
Central location, fantastic service and delicious food. Quality is high and you will pay for it. Setting is a little small and tight but overall a great experience worth trying!
We received excellent service as usual. Food is always good there - loved monkfish rwcommended. Missed the gambas that night cos they were sold out!!!!
Great food, service & ambience. The set lunch is delicious and value for money. Will definitely be back for more and recommend others to come.
Nice ambiance and good service. A bit difficult to figuar out the menus to us who are not familiar with Spanish food though. Grilled pork was nice to try.
Food was excellent and of good portion. Good variety of food and beverage. The set lunch was value for money. Very attentive service. Will definitely go back again.
We had a very enjoyable evening at this restaurant as a group of three persons for our son`s birthday. We liked the tapas and the service was very attentive.
The service displayed was prompt and attentive. The requests made during the reservation were adhered to as well. Food quality wise, the ingredients used were fresh and delectable. It was definitely an enjoyable dining experience cum birthday celebration for my family. Kudos to the staff!
Good Service from staff. The food was excellent especially the Fried egg with ibérico chorizo and Charcoal grilled U.S prime striploin. They also have a small but good selection of Spanish wines,
Great food and service, we asked for new choices and they never disappoint
Food was good. However, despite we made a booking, we had a very bad table. Make sure to avoid the one which is by the balcony door. Not only, the staff is in and out non stop to serve patrons which are having dinner on the balcony, so you have this unpleasant feel of warm coming from outside, but in addition you are almost having dinner with the table which is very close to yours which makes almost impossible to have a conversation with your partner. Dinner is not only about food it is also to enjoy the atmosphere and relax. It was a miss that night which is a shame. Now, we like the food and the staff is nice. So next time I book I will precise that this table is an absolute no.
Nice food, good services, good location. I wann go back there again for my lunch! But, hope less choice for additional $ for lunch set menu.
Service staff was attentive and food was good. Will definitely go back for the Monkfish and Iberian pork. Monkfish portion of 1kg was a bit too much for 2 persons. Could have offered alternative servings. Overall, great dining experience. Would go back again.
Celebrated Father's Day here. Ambience was great - somehow quiet but with a good energy. Wonderful service too! Food was well-delievered but slightly overpriced. We absolutely loved the monkfish, pity that it is not a permanent fixture on the menu!
We always go there for lunch set meal which is value for money. The pasta paella is one of our favourite. Serving for each course is reasonably big.
