The ambience is great with friendly staff and prompt service. The chicken sausage is good. The kipferl and nut swirl aren't to our liking thou as there is a strange aftertaste which I believe is the butter used. The raspberry truffle torte is moist and not overly sweet and the sandwiches are tasty. The Zaunerstollen would taste better if it's crispy/crunchy. The sachertorte is a tad too dry. Not sure if it's been in the fridge for some time. We will be back for the mains and not the high tea set.
Kaiserhaus had great music, with violinists setting the mood on the night of Valentine's Day. It had great ambience, food, service and drinks! The reservation was on time, the staff was friendly and the experience turned out to be fantastic!
We really enjoyed our dinner at Kaiserhaus. The setting was calm and quiet; it was a relaxing break from the crowds in the shopping centres and food courts.
Atmosphere was good, food was great. We had the Tafelspitz - broth was wonderful, but the beef ended up being kind of bland. The portions were huge, too. To the point where we were unable to finish it.
Great food, excellent service. The staff was helpful and friendly, making the entire dinner a really enjoyable one. Portion of the food was just nice and it was delicious.
Our experience was great! The amience is nice and quiet with its beautiful red chairs, marble tables, and elegant design. Delicious authentic Austrian cuisine at an affordable price. The service crew were polite and attentive which compliments the total experience.
Enjoyed the new year lunch at Kaiserhaus. Excellent service from the staff and the wonderful food! Ordered the new year set which consist of the unique gourmet beef, a slice of Viennese chocolate cake and beer. Will return for the Hi-Tea.
Seafood stew and desserts were good! Wasn't a big fan of the beef though.
Excellent food, authentic Austrian cuisine - very good value for money, the servings are quite generous. even the restaurant feels very authentic, has got a lot of Viennese touch and atmosphere.
A very nice treat! Interiour very nice. Staff improved a lot. See you very soo back in the Kaiserhaus. Lookijg forward to my next visit
Great place and very nice atmosphere. Food was just great so nothing to complain about. Staff could pay slightly more attention to their guest (were waiting for about 20 min. for the Dessert and needed to remind staff otherwise would have missed nice cakes)
Location was superb. A lot of meat dishes which was not really my thing but I love the atmosphere and service I will recommend this place for brunch!
Amazing beef consumme. Over food taste not impressive enough. Food presentation can be better. Food variety requires more attention. Service could be more intimate and less straining on efficiency.
Very authentic and great, tasty food. Lunch menu is fairly priced, others as well! Can definitely recommend it to anyone who is looking for good Austrian (German) food. Must try: Kaiserschmarrn! Enjoy
Recommend this place for family or friends gathering. Restaurant is spacious and has a relaxing ambience. Enjoyed the duck served in their Christmas set and cakes.
Delicious Austrian dishes with good portions. Service staff were attentive as well. Nice and rather quiet atmosphere, this restaurant closes late so it's good if you need to get dinner for late nights.
Great service, lovely ambience and authentic food! Really enjoyed the schnitzel and bohemian dumplings. Brought back memories of our visit to Vienna. The happy hour wines also paired rather nicely with the meal, which was a good deal since it includes a snack. The crispy mushrooms were a hit. The restaurant is also child friendly which is a nice bonus. We will be back.
Authentic and delicious Austrian cuisine delivered with attentive service. The restaurant is located very centrally just a few steps away from MRT. Higly recommendable. Servus!
excellent beer. this is the place to go for a quiet evening with beer and snacks
Loved the opulent ambience: very grand and plush decor aligned with its theme of a baroque palace. Food was rather ordinary though. Meat dishes (crispy chicken and pork schnitzel) was under seasoned and bordering on bland. Desserts and coffee were much better. Will come back for cakes and coffee rather than mains.
Service of temp staff can be improved. Food is generally good. Nice environment to dine in. I will consider to come back and try their hi tea sessions
We enjoyed very much the evening at Kaiserhaus. Food was great and of course the German beer too ! We ordered a total of 5 main courses for 4 of us. Great place to return to !!
Food was so good I came back for it again!!
I went there with my girlfriend on a Saturday for lunch. We tried the Gourmet Beef. The food and service were excellent. The pancake desert is excellent but the portions are bigger than usual. The restaurant was relatively quiet and ideal for conversation.
Ambience and service at the restaurant was fantastic, the service staff took efforts into ensuring that our food was to our satisfaction. We enjoyed the cuisine Kaiserhaus offered, which is rarely found in Singapore.
This is my third visit in about 4 months and the food is still as good but I think it's time to change the set lunch menu! I'm getting a bit sick of seafood stick and beef goulash! Great service as usual no doubt!
This is my third time to Ksiserhsus. I simply love the plush yet relaxing ambiance sans the snobbery of some other high end restaurants. We so enjoyed the classy-cal piano music along with our delicious beef goulash with bread dumplings. We always end our meal with the outstanding Mozart dumplings. We also ordered a cappuccino and a latte which was better than what we had previously. Will definitely pop in again if just to pick up more of their delicious croissants.
Food great, staff friendly but still need some improvements. Will for sure come back and recommend to friends. Only authentic schnitzels in Singapore so far.
The food was not only really delicious but very authentic to its root. The place and its surrounding are beautiful. We will definitely return soon.
We had meal in this restaurant for the first time. The food, ambience and service are generally excellent. My wife loves it so much that she plans to have high tea with a girl friend this coming weekend.
Ambience was nice and service was good. The food was passable but below my expectations after reading the good reviews. We had the schitnzel, beef goulash, roast pork & seafood soup. In the menu, the seafood menu was under the main course and priced at $44. We expected it to be of a decent portion but sadly, it came in a small pot with 3 pieces of mussels, 2 small prawns and a few pieces of fish. It was very bland and way overpriced. Please don't ever order that! We each had a main course and also starters and desserts and some beer. In spite of so much food, we were probably only about 70% full (and we were an all female group), so the portions were really small. It was a nice experience dining in such a beautiful place with lush seats, but I don't think I will ever go again. Not even for special occasions.
Great ambience and love the quietness of the place. It give u the feel that you are not in Singapore but overseas with their music play
Very authentic and excellent Austrian cuisine presented in a beautiful and classy ambience with great service provided. If you enjoy classic European dishes, and are looking for an extraordinary lunch/dining experience at very fair prices, the "Kaiserhaus" is definitively to be considered. It's located right above the historic Capitol theatre and offers besides traditional Austrian, Czech, Hungarian and Tyrolean dishes also excellent beverage choices from Austria (alcoholic and non-alcoholic). The set lunch menu offered during the weekdays is an especially good deal, but the sharing platters for two are also recommended. Finally, don't miss the excellent cake and dessert selection plus the fantastic Meinl coffee from Vienna. Yummy!
The food here is excellent, I had the Wiener Schnitzel from pork which was really thin, nicely breaded and tasty. This was served with a side of potato salad which was more sourish than what I had expected but still a nicely cooked bowl or potato salad. None of that undercooked potato salad you sometimes get elsewhere. My friend had the gourmet beef for 1 and she said that was the best beef broth she has had in quite a while. The broth was so nice she simply had to request for the broth she couldn't finish to be packed for her to bring home to enjoy further. Portions were definitely filling and we will be back for more!
I ordered roasted chix fm their set menu and was very disappointed by the quality and standard of food served. Even Rottiserie chicken taste better.
Our group of 5 had a wonderful first time experience & you can bet it's not going to be the last. Pleasant deco & atmosphere with a hint of opulence that's not intimidating. Serving crews were attentive but not intrusive which is a balance you seldom see these days. Food & pastries as expected is typical European but nicely presented.
The ambient setting of the restaurant is good with quality service and food. Highly recommend you order the skewers and I am sure you will be impressed with it.
Lovely food. Service was fantastic and attentive. Portions are big and hearty. There was a man playing the accordion and the atmosphere was very Europe and wonderful!!
food are nice, beer also nice too, environment is good, waiter and waitress are friendly, location is good, price is reasonable, recommended to visit and will come again.
It was a great experience for our guest, Barbara, from Vienna. The food is great. Very similar to Vienna standard. However, the space/location is a bit small at Capitol Piazza.
the Tafelspitz for two was generous. The apple strudel was a good sized portion and full o fruit but lacking in buttery flakiness. The beer choice got a thumbs up. The service is fair, I think they are trying hard but details like constantly bumping into my chair and serving food with their fingers on the rim of the pots were uncomfortable. For the location, above the Capitol Theatre, I give it a Good and I would go back.
There was a nice atmosphere, with reasonable prices. The staff were friendly and courteous. The high tea set was delicious and you get to choose a cake from the pastry.
Food is of excellent quality. Servers were attentive and pleasant. Pastries were great. Coffee premium. Ambience cosy. It's my second visit. Will come back again!
Food and service were both great, was reasonable sharing for two.
Good as usual as they maintained the quality. Desserts were interesting too
Very authentic tafelspitz like those in Vienna and overall an interesting experience in sg
