Excellent service, very good ambience and the food was nicely done. The restaurant needs better frontage and directions how to get there because it's easy to miss and not easy to locate, even if you get to Capitol (I ended up parking and searching for it in the wrong building next door, Capitol Piazza).
Great food and service. Restaurant has a nice atmosphere and good location. Would definitely recommend...
Nice beer, friendly staff. Looking forwars to my next meal there. Ask for suggestions from them. Salad serving size is huge! Chicken is awesome, must try.
Overall, we were very happy with Kaiserhaus. They have really tried hard to make the restaurant as authentic as possible. The Slovenian wine we chose and the espresso coffees were excellent. The food was tasty without being out of this world.
The food portions were extremely substantial and every item we ordered was tasty. An excellent place for European food!
Very nice dinner. Staff were attentive and the food and beer were very good. We had the October special and it was certainly excellent value. Highly recommended.
Classy place in the capitol theatre. Great food! Staff are very attentive and friendly. ambiance is resembles fine dinning. Serverving portions are large and items reasonably priced
The food is extremely good and would be the main reason for returning. Good quality, plentiful in quantity and very authentic. The meats are cooked to perfection and the desserts are worth checking out on their own. The service, though well intentioned, was not terribly good. I waited an age to be given my beer and no one proactively explained that the barrel was being changed (surely this shouldn't take half an hour) until I had chased three times. The setting has a few aspects that look like an old restaurant in middle Europe but unfortunately not enough to escape the reality of sitting in Singapore.
Great ambience and good food. Portion were big. Overall experience was good.
Excellent, highly authentic Austrian Royal Court food. One of the few authentic, high-end European restaurants in Singapore. One of the best I've tried in my 16 years here. Highly reccommended.
Nice food with good ambience. The taste of the food served at Kaiserhaus has never disappoint me since my first visit. Highly recommended restaurant for something different!
Service is great, location and ambience are both great, and the food is not bad! Though not up to par as to what I had in Vienna and Salzburg. Overall a great experience and I would gladly return to this establishment!
Food was good, love the Mozart dumplings. Service was also good although the wait (approx. 30 mins) for our meals was a little slow. Will patronize again
It has been a wonderful dining experience at Kaiserhaus. The service staff were warm, friendly and attentive. We were running late and called to see if they can hold my reservation. The staff suggested to change our reservation to half an hour later. They took initatitive to provide extra plates when we only ordered 2 mains for 3 of us. The food were very good, full of flavor, although I found it slightly on the salty side. The portions were substantial. We were too full to try their deserts, but we did enjoy their coffee. We will definitely eat there again.
very nice ambience and good service. chef came out to talk to us too. the pork is a must. would be good if they had duck on the menu, as duck is usually on the menus in Czech Republic and Poland - not so much the rest though, but i'm sure singaporeans like duck.
Authentic austrian food. I ordered a cheese platter, salad and the beer braised beef and was left with not enough time to move on for the desserts. Staff were very attentive and friendly. Will be returning to have their desserts
The service was very good and prompt to our requests. Only setback was toward closing for the day, we ordered a dessert to have it there but the waitress mixed up and packed it in a box.
Great mains! Super nice ambience minus the noise at the bar below. Attentive staff. Desserts are so so. Will definitely come back again for the unique and lovely mains.
Great tafelspitz, schnitzel and cakes. I have been here twice now, does not disappoint. The service is great, though I prefer to sit inside rather than the balcony.
Food quality of ingredient & tates is usually the more important factor when i rate restaurant. However, Kaiserhaus service was really very good. My BFF and i arrived 30 mins late for our reservation. The hostess at the ground floor was very smiley and bubbly when she brought us up to our seat on Lvl 2. The serving staff were very professional and service was fantastic. We were not very hungry so we ordered a soup each - Beef Goulash not the best i have eaten but tasted much better than the Beef Bouillon soup with crepes Julienne. For our Mains, we shared a cold cut & cheese platter which is serve with a bread basket. It was very good. There is 5 different spread, 2 cheese and 4 different cold cuts, the smoke (Prosciutto) ham was my favourite. Overall, My very first visit to Kaiserhaus with my BFF was great
Service slow and keep getting the requests mixed up. Took ages to serve water. food not fantastic, portion not value for money. Only the cakes are good
The restaurant has a romantic and cozy atmosphere. The service and food were both excellent. Definitely try the Tafelspitz, delicious and filling set at a very good price!
Food was very interesting but not fantastic, the ambience was lovely. A little noisy and service was a little slow but bearable. Might go back again to try.
Great atmosphere with live accordion music. The cakes were scrumptious! We found the veal schnitzel a little dry. The beef goulash and roasted pork were excellent. We also like their afternoon tea.
The restaurant ambience is nice and cosy. The food taste is great, the high tea set is worth the price with the variety you can try.
Wonderful waitstaff, very friendly. Also, there was an accordion player, really added to the atmosphere. And most importantly, great food. Very satisfying. Reasonable prices as well.
The set lunch was really a good deal although the choices are really limited. Attentive service crew and the ambience is good. The cheese sausage is really delicious especially with the honey mustard. Will return to try other dishes.
Overall, the place has a nice ambiance and food taste is good. Serving size is reasonable. Good service with a good selection of choices of desert.
A nice restaurant on the 2nd level of Capitol building, just above the theatre box office. The signs to direct customers to the restaurant weren't very obvious, but there was a service staff stationed on the 1st level to assist. Upon stepping into the restaurant, I had to catch the attention of one of the staff bustling around as no one was stationed by the entrance to receive customers. But I was seated pretty quickly so that was alright. Food and drinks were served quickly and they were pretty tasty. I had the pork cheese sausage while my friend had the duck parpadelle. Just a feedback - noticed there were a couple of young trainees standing around and all requests directed at them were met with a "Let me check with someone else". Suggest more training should be given before putting them to work. For example, a question on happy hour had them bring a service staff over, and a request to refill my tea pot had them bring another. But overall it was an enjoyable dinner out at Kaiserhaus.
Food was very good with very generous portions, and we were also impressed by the excellent service! We had an enjoyable and memorable dinner and will definitely be back again at Kaiserhaus!
It was a great looking place with a lot of effort put in to the wall decoration and furniture, comfortable and spacious. The mains courses were well made and portions were good. Quick and friendly service.
It was a great experience, quite a good selection of slice cakes, pastries and coffee, will recommend for sure to dine at this wonderful place.
food was delicious, restaurant was spacious. overall a good experience :)
Food was generally delicious and portions generous. Frozen butter in plastic containers was not impressive. Wine list was not very extensive and very expensive for mid-European and new world wines. Staff were enthusiastic, but service could have been better. Staff did not really know how to lay things out smoothly and we felt hurried to finish our starters because the main courses were ready.
Amazing Austrian food at very reasonable average restaurant price. Great ambience for couples. Desserts were very attractive and interesting. A great way to taste the Austrian cuisine in Singapore!!!
The Bohemian Pot Roast was spot on. Meat was tender and crackling was crispy. The Viennese Goulash was good too. The only issue we had was the tiny portion of the bread dumpling. There was no way I could have wiped the Goulash bowl clean, with those 3 pieces of bread dumplings (size of half a palm). When I requested for more, the kind waiter offered to give me one slice of bread dumpling for me. Anything more, he would have to charge us.
despite it being my first time at kaiserhaus, i still brought my family for dinner. food was so good. absolute great value for money. the bill surprised me. will be back the next time im in singapore.
Great ambience, good portions. Starters were great. However the duck was over cooked and the sausages salty. And we love the cakes! Lovely cakes! Will still come back again.
Two of us went for a Saturday evening meal out. No-one was at the 'Wait to be seated' area for some time when we arrived and throughout the evening I got the impression there were some new staff still learning the ropes, although they were obviously trying hard. We had booked a table in advance and were directed to the table beside the door to the kitchen. I understand someone has to sit there but surely that should be one of the last tables to be filled. The staff were good enough to find an alternative for us. It wasn't the best start to our meal but things picked up. The quality of food was very good and portions huge. Unless your appetite is vast I would suggest sharing a starter and dessert, if you want 3 courses. If not, skip the starter as the desserts are not to be missed. I would particularly recommend the Mozart Dumpling dessert. I was not familiar with a number of the white wines being offered and could have done with more explanation as to their characteristics in the wine list.
It was wonderful, food was absolutely excellent and tasted very authentic to european food. Staff were lovely and service prompt and timely. Definitely will be back soon...
