Excellent service. Food was ok - mains were competent but not outstanding; desserts sounded better than they tasted. Happy hour very worthwhile. Good if you want to try something different.

Great food great service! The Tafelspitz was amazingly done, but the Bohemian Pork Roast could be further improved. We enjoyed the craft beer and crispy fried mushrooms!

Had Sissi's pastry delights, but the desserts were a little too sweet for my taste. Loved the deep-fried button mushrooms, though. Also had the traditional Viennese Schnitzel, which was good, but would recommend trying something else if you are going for a more exotic food experience.

A lovely place for a quiet afternoon tea with friends or loved ones. Very cozy and you can admire the interior architecture of the Capitol Piazza when you sit near the balcony overlooking the ground floor. Love the overall experience.

Nice ambience. Great place to hang out with friends during afternoon time. Items are reasonable priced and the high tea set is value for money.

Food was interesting and pretty good. Austrian dumplings are special! Staff did their best but could feel that a lot of them were pretty new.

Service was attentive and prompt, but the restaurant wasn't very full when we dined. Serving portions were generous for our appetite (we ordered 3 mains and 1 starter for a table of 4) and the food weren't very expensive either. Great ambiance, overall fantastic experience.

Great setting for an introduction to Austrian food. The savoury menu is better than the pastries, but it is good value overall, especially the set lunch.

Food was really good but service was incredibly poor. We noticed another table getting served before us even though we had our order taken before them. Wait staff was not very attentive, nobody bothered to clear our used appetiser dishes. By the time our main course arrived, there was no place to put the new plates down on the table. Waiter gave us a 10% off our bill but overall still a poor dining experience.

Service was excellant. The crispy chicken was good, but pork was on the dry side. There was a noisy group that evening but the waitress was nice to have them quieten down.

Excellent service, very good ambience and the food was nicely done. The restaurant needs better frontage and directions how to get there because it's easy to miss and not easy to locate, even if you get to Capitol (I ended up parking and searching for it in the wrong building next door, Capitol Piazza).

We loved the Kaiserhaus for it's amazing austrian/bohemian food and the feel of the place. My husband is Austrian, so he should know. The atmosphere is wonderfully old fashioned and the furniture is thouroughly picked so the place does look like a true Wiener Kaffeehaus. Prices are absolutely reasonable. The overall experience was absolutely marvelous.

The setting of the restaurant is pretty unique considering there are not many German restaurants in Singapore. Interesting selection of dishes and one feels they are in Germany when eating at this restaurant.

In a sea of too-safe, too-similar cafes and chain restaurants, Kaiserhaus really stands out for its unique menu and quality fare. Our family of 6 chose the restaurant to celebrate an engagement in the family and we all ordered different dishes to taste. We had the goulash, roast pork, Kaiser gourmet beef, schnitzel and a sausage dish. We also tried the strudel, chocolate pudding and the raspberry chocolate cake. It is rare when everything you try is fantastic. In particular, the bread dumpling and beef soup was delicious. This is the first time I have been able to find bread dumpling in Singapore and it tasted as good as the one I had in Austria. We also order another chocolate pudding as one was just not enough! Compliments to the chef, and our friendly server Joanne.

Overall, we were very happy with Kaiserhaus. They have really tried hard to make the restaurant as authentic as possible. The Slovenian wine we chose and the espresso coffees were excellent. The food was tasty without being out of this world.

The food is extremely good and would be the main reason for returning. Good quality, plentiful in quantity and very authentic. The meats are cooked to perfection and the desserts are worth checking out on their own. The service, though well intentioned, was not terribly good. I waited an age to be given my beer and no one proactively explained that the barrel was being changed (surely this shouldn't take half an hour) until I had chased three times. The setting has a few aspects that look like an old restaurant in middle Europe but unfortunately not enough to escape the reality of sitting in Singapore.

Authentic austrian food. I ordered a cheese platter, salad and the beer braised beef and was left with not enough time to move on for the desserts. Staff were very attentive and friendly. Will be returning to have their desserts

Food quality of ingredient & tates is usually the more important factor when i rate restaurant. However, Kaiserhaus service was really very good. My BFF and i arrived 30 mins late for our reservation. The hostess at the ground floor was very smiley and bubbly when she brought us up to our seat on Lvl 2. The serving staff were very professional and service was fantastic. We were not very hungry so we ordered a soup each - Beef Goulash not the best i have eaten but tasted much better than the Beef Bouillon soup with crepes Julienne. For our Mains, we shared a cold cut & cheese platter which is serve with a bread basket. It was very good. There is 5 different spread, 2 cheese and 4 different cold cuts, the smoke (Prosciutto) ham was my favourite. Overall, My very first visit to Kaiserhaus with my BFF was great

Excellent, highly authentic Austrian Royal Court food. One of the few authentic, high-end European restaurants in Singapore. One of the best I've tried in my 16 years here. Highly reccommended.

very nice ambience and good service. chef came out to talk to us too. the pork is a must. would be good if they had duck on the menu, as duck is usually on the menus in Czech Republic and Poland - not so much the rest though, but i'm sure singaporeans like duck.

It has been a wonderful dining experience at Kaiserhaus. The service staff were warm, friendly and attentive. We were running late and called to see if they can hold my reservation. The staff suggested to change our reservation to half an hour later. They took initatitive to provide extra plates when we only ordered 2 mains for 3 of us. The food were very good, full of flavor, although I found it slightly on the salty side. The portions were substantial. We were too full to try their deserts, but we did enjoy their coffee. We will definitely eat there again.

Great atmosphere with live accordion music. The cakes were scrumptious! We found the veal schnitzel a little dry. The beef goulash and roasted pork were excellent. We also like their afternoon tea.

A nice restaurant on the 2nd level of Capitol building, just above the theatre box office. The signs to direct customers to the restaurant weren't very obvious, but there was a service staff stationed on the 1st level to assist. Upon stepping into the restaurant, I had to catch the attention of one of the staff bustling around as no one was stationed by the entrance to receive customers. But I was seated pretty quickly so that was alright. Food and drinks were served quickly and they were pretty tasty. I had the pork cheese sausage while my friend had the duck parpadelle. Just a feedback - noticed there were a couple of young trainees standing around and all requests directed at them were met with a "Let me check with someone else". Suggest more training should be given before putting them to work. For example, a question on happy hour had them bring a service staff over, and a request to refill my tea pot had them bring another. But overall it was an enjoyable dinner out at Kaiserhaus.

Food was generally delicious and portions generous. Frozen butter in plastic containers was not impressive. Wine list was not very extensive and very expensive for mid-European and new world wines. Staff were enthusiastic, but service could have been better. Staff did not really know how to lay things out smoothly and we felt hurried to finish our starters because the main courses were ready.
