The best chirasi in town and it won't burn hole in your wallet. Nice and cozy ambience for both casual lunch and business lunch. Try it
Good fresh sashimi on rice. A tad pricy for normal lunches so save this as a treat. Service wise not too bad but I wouldn't say it's exceptional. The main star is the food.
Ask for their omakase dinner and let the chef surprise you. The quality of the sashimi and grilled fish is really top-notch. Will definitely be visiting this place again.
The food and service were both exceptional. Easily one of the best chirashi don in Singapore. Staff were polite and the waiter even offered to put our bag on a chair when he saw them on the floor.
the sushi and sashimi is very fresh. service during the lunch time rush is great. however the where we were sitting, it is a little noisy, great for casual business lunch.
There was a mix-up by staff over my order but at least they admitted it was their fault and adjusted the bill accordingly. Food was ok but grilled yellowtail cheek was a bit overdone.
The sets available at lunch are value for money, given the quality of the seafood and portions served. Had the bara chirashi set (not one of the lunch sets). It came with salad and miso soup. The rice and sashimi were tasty, while the portion of fish slices was way more than that of the rice. The rice was cooked with bamboo shoots (or so i think) and seaweed which gave it a nice flavour (and crunch!) that wasn't too overpowering when paired with the fish.
Great food and good service. Sashimi is fresh and i will be back.
Had the chirashi don, very worth the money. Service was great. Overall a good experience.
Very good experience - reservation was confirmed both by Quandoo, as well as by the restaurant. Food was good, as usual. Will go again in future should the opportunity arise.
I've had better Chirashi here previously, the cuts were messy, thin and the quality seems to have dipped. Worst experience so far but I'm still giving it a 4/6, still worth coming back.
value for money fresh Japanese food in the CBD area.
Average hotel dining hall. Nothing exceptional. While ingredients were fresh, dishes generally overpriced and cooking quality was suspect. Highly recommended and expensive beef bowl was a miss.
Yummy food at decent price for set lunch. Love the chirashi set as well. The sashimi is very fresh and tasty. Will go back again
Food was ok and initial service when there's less people was great. After the restaurant was more than half-filled, our table seems to be neglected. Location wise.... a little difficult to locate the place.
Good food! Only wish the constant humming of the ventilator (?) could go away.
Service is a little slow but overall good experience. Food was good and well presented. Lunch menus and prices are worth a visit. Will be back.
Reserved table for 6 about a week ago. Except for the miso soup which is very salty and the cramp table (was given a table for 4 and they added 2 extra chairs) which could not accomodate all our 6 trays, overall experience was good.
Food is great, and Lunch is great value for the quality of food! Will definitely return for dinner in the future. Service could be improved though
this is a good place for both chirashi and sashimi
Omakase Dinner for 2 will set you back about $280 after taxes. Sashimi and Sushi are of good grade. You will be full after the course meal. However should I visit again, I would go ala carte which will offer me better value.
Ordered barachirashi and i would say it's one of the best i had so far! fresh and huge chunky sashimi. YUMS!
Easily one of the best Japanese I had in Singapore. Every dishes I had were amazing! Great food with super friendly staff. Will definitely be back
Restaurant is small but comfortable. Overall, Jin fine dining is one of the better hangouts in Singapore for Japanese food. Our group of 4 pax went for the omakase set and it was good, especially the sashimi platter. I would give a better rating for this place if not for the clam miso soup, which was tad a little salty. Price for it is affordable though I wouldn't say it is exactly cheap for the portion. Highly recommended!
My favorites are the saga beef, assorted sashimi platter, grilled yellow tail collar and the sushi. The ingredients are all fresh and carefully prepared to perfection. The service is also excellent.
Great food. Highly recommended for a casual or business lunch which is not too heavy.
