Singapore’s Ichida Japanese Dining is one of the best places around Club Street for exceptionally tasty Japanese fare. It’s a very simple yet stylish dining space that really allows the food to do all of the talking. Head chef Ron Leo is responsible for the menu and on it are some dishes that are nothing short of majestic – from freshly shucked oysters to gourmet sashimi and bento. Everything is beautifully presented and you really can taste the quality of the carefully selected ingredients gone into them. Top this off with a warm, friendly service and we’re willing to bet Ichida Japanese Dining will rapidly become one of your new favourites. Reserve your table now.
Right in the heart of everything on Club Street, Ichida Japanese Dining Singapore is impossible not to love. The food is a multitude of cuts above the standard level often found at Japanese restaurants in Singapore and the atmosphere makes you feel instantly at home. It’s a casual vibe, without doubt, best enjoyed if you visit as a group and share plenty of dishes amongst the group. Being on Club Street, the nearest MRT station to Ichida Singapore is Telok Ayer. Open for lunch as well dinner every day, but closed on Sundays – this is fresh Japanese dining the way it should be and we love it.
You can’t visit Ichida Singapore without trying as much of the sushi and sashimi as possible. The tuna belly is one of our favourites, as is the salmon fin and the king crab. The scallops with a spicy cod roe sauce are also good and are served with fresh and seasoned Japanese tomato, while for a larger dish, you can’t go wrong with the grilled sweet trout complemented with a soup. As you can likely tell by now, the food at Ichida Japanese Dining Singapore is of a super high-quality and it’s worth getting very excited about. Head to Club Street armed with a reservation and you’ll never look back. Trust us!
TOP quality Omakase at amazingly affordable price. We actually googled for a good Omakase restaurant and decided to try Ichida purely based on reviews and we were definitely not disappointed. We could tell the seafood was very fresh, flavours simply delicious, portions very generous. We lived in Japan for a couple of months- and felt transported back there. We are looking forward to their next month’s Omakase menu!
Friendly staff and nice food. Omakase set at $68++ was definitely value for money. If you’re still deciding, this place is definitely worth a shot!
Overall all is good including services, the sashimi can be more fresh. will be back. Hopefully the menu for the offer can change from time to time. Thanks
We had the Omakase. Quality food fresh from Japan matched with good service. Great knife skills by Chef Tony as well. We will be back again.
Food was excellent. Service was great. Price was just ok. Will I come back or recommend to others? YES, as food was really really good.
