The food was good and reasonable. Service was good too. Will go back again. Must try the Yookhoi (raw beef) and Modeumjeon (Assorted Panfried Vegetables Combination).

Authentic Korean food - my favourite sweet and spicy kimchi, tender & well marinated pork meat bbq by the staff, yummy soft beancurd seafood soup and lots free-flow side dishes

The spicy beef soup is my must order every time i visit the outlet here. The staffs are attentive and even offered to bbq the meats we have ordered. Lastly, we ended our meal with ordering their homemade kimchi for takeaway!

Good and friendly service. Reasonable pricing and the side dishes were above normal, The menu had a wide selections of dishes. Bonus is the free ice cream.

Have dined here many times. Even though the gap between my last visit and the present was several years, did not notice any difference in either the quality of food or excellence in service. Both were top notch, as was expected.

Excellent service from staff! Ordered the bbq pork belly and the staff helped us to cook it. Ginseng chicken soup is flavourful and meat tender. Cold noodles are refreshing. Dessert was sweet ginger tea of some sort. The side dishes and desserts are different from time to time. Have visited before and will visit again!

It was wonderful! Food was good. Service was perfect. Will definitely go back again. The only sad thing was that there were other promotions given if we book directly with the restaurant.

Went for my friend's birthday on Sep 9, and the full was really amazing. We ordered quite a few stuffs and the kimchi Jeongol was so good. The restaurant is very generous with the side dishes and all of us enjoyed our dinner. One downside would be the kimchi fried rice, it was too watery.

Crab stew was nice but the prime rib eye was not prime except for the price! It was friendly enough but not as attentive as I expected.

The food at Hyang-to-gol (Amara Hotel) is fantastic! We love the Yookhoi (seasoned fresh raw beef), the Modeumjeon (assorted panfried vegetables combination) and the spicy cold noodles.

fab korean bbq on 2nd floor of Amara Hotel on tanjong pagar rd. Great choice of meats and soju is a must! steamed egg and seafood pancake are great side dishes

Service is excellent as always! Kimchi pancake was a little more floury than usual and a little bland for my taste. Kimchi jijgae was good and whets the appetite, it comes with rice. Haemool kalguksu (homemade noodles with seafood) was quite filling and tasted flavourful but was not particularly memorable. The side dishes are awesome though!

Incredibly prompt service was provided and the staff were both polite and friendly which made the whole experience all the more enjoyable. It’s a restaurant where paying service charge actually feels justified given how wonderful the service was.

Good food. The cold noodles are so refreshing! Eat it while its cold! Have been there several times. Menu needs updating though. Some have amended recipes that are not reflected. Do cross-check before ordering!

Ordered kimchi stew. Nice. Just the right amount of sour and spiciness to enhance appetite! Kimchi pancake was good as well. Not so crowded on a tuesday night. Seems like there are koreans who frequent the place!

The bbq was average. The bbq prawns were pretty decent. But their galbi jim and side dishes were pretty good! For the ambience and location, price was reasonable as well.

Terrible food, low quality meat for the premium price it commands. Seasoning was terrible, tasted like cheap stir-fry marinade from a bottle. Presentation is awful-wouldn't be an issue if the meat was good. Will never go back.

The service deserved to be complemented as there was sufficient staff to serve you right away if you require help and they were very polite. The extensive side dishes also won my heart, with the traditional kimchi fairing better than the others. However, note that their menu items are rather pricey as the amount of ingredients were not compatible to the price. The proportions of vegetables to their core ingredients can be improved to satisfy customers.

went in a group of 6 and was given a nice and cozy room. ordered the galbi tang, soup was ok but the meat practically slides off the ribs. pajeon was crispy and yummy. love the side dishes as well.

Excellent service! We ordered the marinated beef and army stew upon the staff's recommendation. The marinated beef was very tender, the taste was just nice, not too salty. Superb! The army stew was one of the best I've had! You could really taste the stock that they most probably have prepared for many hours! We drank most of the stew and we did not feel very thirsty! It was very comforting and satisfying! They were generous with the meat and other ingredients. Their side dishes were also fantastic! We will definitely go back again to try the other recommended dishes! Thumbs up!

Prompt and efficient service, delicious grill meats and side dishes. The makegoli is very good too. Prices can be slightly on the high side though.

Appetizers are not as good as previous ones. Love the black cod kimchi hotpot and the pancake though rather pricey. Service is good. Staff are courteous and helpful.

Quite overpriced for the BBQ. The meat was not marinated that well and lacked seasoning. The plate of lettuce to wrap the meat is jot quite enough and they don't provide free refills like most other Korean BBQ places so we had to ration. Not a very good experience considering the meat set was $150. The Kimchi fried rice and side dishes were good though. Maybe only worth it for lunch.

Food is good, so is the service. This is one of few bbq rest where the staff bbq ur meats in frt of u. However, its a bit pricey.
