Hand in Hand Beijing Restaurant (Jln Besar)

A favourite spot along Jalan Besar. Hand in Hand gets all the classic dishes right, although their dumplings are really the stars of the show. Highly recommended!

Food was really good and I would return to the restaurant to try other dishes!! However, the place can be really noisy so if you would like to chat while eating perhaps you want to request for the outdoor seating.

this day some dishees were different taste and presentation. But generally ok. Some staff speak only Chinese and there were some misundwerstanding of our telling, then we had been charged extra...by their mistake. the service is very good though.

No crowd control in place during Covid.. Had reservation but no table available.. no safe distancing!

Food standard is still high but service level has dropped. That said, I am fine as long as the service staff fill up my old tea. :-)

Dim sum is great, serves the best xiao long bao in my humble opinion.

Food is good (but not amazingly great) but definitely not worth the long waiting hours. Staff weren’t rude, but not considered friendly and responsive too. Will only go for delivery and takeout instead.

Went there to try for first time, and would recommend the 锅贴 with shrimp and leek and the Szechuan dumpling especially. Szechuan hot and sour soup was not what we expected and seems to be tomato based, we prefer the original style. Beer promotion was a plus

Very good Xiao long Bao. Overall good tasting Sichuan food.

Good food, portion was big. Waiting time (dine in) was reasonable but then again we started early at 6pm. By the time we finished, there was a snake queue outside. Was so good that I decided to order takeaways and that took a while. Will be back with family next time.
