Ambience was excellent- love the old world feel of wood, high ceiling & spaciousness. Food was ok not spectacular.

Having been to Flutes in it's original location in Fort Canning - also choosing it as our wedding location - I obviously had a vision and expectation in my mind. Unfortunately, the evening did not live up to that vision and expectation. It lacked ambience and atmosphere and unless my memory fails me, the food wasn't as good. Maybe it was the setting of Flutes at the Fort or maybe the new setting but whatever it was I was disappointed with the evening. Also when I made the booking it asks if it is for a special occasion and it was for my husband's birthday. Why ask if nothing is made of it! :-(

The dinning room was very pleasant Service a little slow Food was beautifully presented The Squid terrine was superb We had visited flutes many years ago in the fire chiefs old house the beef with potatoes then was a big affair on the bone served on a platter for two to share. Last night it had changed to wagyu beef already sliced. Although beef was very tender we where expecting a piece of beef Ribb as before where you carve at table. Desserts we very good Would definitely go again but try other mains. One of our table had the barramundi fish as a main it was every good. Excellent yum yum!

Starter was totally lacking flavour and main course was almost cold. Staff were very friendly and surroundings are very relaxing but overall slightly disappointing compared with previous visits

Service was commendable particularly mentioning Mr Ali (I think is the manager) were extremely attentive and able to predict our needs before we even ask for it. Ali make an effort to find out what occasion we are celebrating. Knowing it was a birthday celebration, he make an extra effort to have candles and words written on the dessert tray for my table. Memorable!!!

Service was amazing, staff were very friendly and attentive, food was delicious, we felt the portion size was a little on the small side and the restroom was so far away. However, overall experience was lovely and we would go back again.

The service was wonderful, good food and the place has a nice atmosphere. As the place was in Singapore Museum, it was easy to locate.

Liked the quiet ambience with good service. Definitely a good choice of restaurant for romantic dinner with loved one. Food was good and standard, but lack of surprises though.

Nice, quiet ambience. I had a very fulfilling lunch in a comfortable and elegant setting. Especially love e chilli crab pasta which e chef was kind enough to allow in my set lunch with a top-up. Well deserved money spent.

service was great.. but much to be desired for the menu. had the chef's recommendation. the potato crisp that served with the wagyu beef somehow degraded the meal. Rather have it on its own with the youszu dressing or more appropriate with the truffle shavings. the pate was great. nicely done but the preserved didnt quite agree with the meal. main course was ok but not great. lots of room for improvement honestly.. but not a bad meal plus great ambience and not too pricey came as a consolation.

First time visit, went for early dinner so the place was quiet. Food was great and pleasantly plated. Service staff were very nice too. Will visit again
