Food was great! Service was excellent! Came for executive lunch. Ambience was just right for anniversary celebration. Went at 1pm on a Monday afternoon and we almost had the whole restaurant to ourselves.
The staffs were so attentive. In addition to that, they have not forgotten that it was a birthday lunch and they provided a birthday wish.
Good! Ambience is good and so are the foods. Quite definite to go back there again. Think suitable for a Christmas party or around New Year.
Been away for a while and realize that flutes have moved to the National Museum. Order the beef tenderloin and lamb loin as main and they were good. For appetizer, you cannot go wrong with the wagyu beef carpaccio. and seared foie gras.
Excellent service and good food. Nice ambience and it doesn't get too crowded on weekdays if you prefer some privacy. Parking within the museum is convenient if you drive.
Excellent food and service, I will go back again for sure. Staff were very attentive and the service was smooth and quick. Steak was excellent
Wonderful service. Excellent food and beautiful ambience. I miss the old Flutes, but you have captured the elegance that has always been Flutes. Kind Regards Deirdre
Flutes is a top restaurant , located in a beautiful museum of singapore. The food is excellent and the service is perfect ! It's always a pleasure to come back ! I recommend specially the wayu carpaccio beef with truffles as starter. Enjoy the moment !
Flutes was the first "romantic" dinner away from the kids since our recent move to Singapore from New York City, and it did not disappoint. The ambience was lovely (we were the only one's who chose to sit outside surrounded by the beautiful National Museum of Singapore, as if having a private dinner for two). We started with the pan seared foie gras and scallops....our only complaint was we wished the foie gras was twice the portion size because it was so good! :-) For the main course my wife had the lamb loin (incredibly tender and well prepared) and I had the chili crab pasta (very nice mix of spice and flavor, with a sizeable piece of fresh crab meat still in the shell but cracked for ease....I can't count the number of restaurants where I've ordered crab or lobster pasta or soup with little to no meat anywhere to be found, so this was a pleasant surprise). Finally, at some point during the dinner, we mentioned in passing to our waitress we just moved to Singapore. Then about 15 minutes after our main course as we finished our wine, she brought a beautifully presented dessert plate with "Welcome to Flutes" written in chocolate script along the bottom....on the house! This was illustrative of the service throughout the dinner, which was attentive, helpful and always pleasant. Flutes was a great welcome to the Singapore fine dining scene!
Attentive service and very pleasant quiet environment for brunch. Central location. The menu is kept rather simple and includes popular dishes. Highly recommended for a cosy meal with friends and loved ones.
Delicious food if slightly small portions and a little cold, could have done with hot plates. Great service and wine list. Very enjoyable evening, would recommend
Food was good but not up to my expectations. I went to this place after seeing all the good reviews but was a bit disappointed. The restaurant was a bit quiet even on a Friday evening. Service was good though.
The ambience was great for meeting up with friends or business associates. The food is good as usual and value for money especially the lunch set menu.
Happy to be back. Food and service is as good as usual. The executive lunch is really worth it. Will be going back again. :)
Excellent food presented in a beautiful setting in the National Museum. Great location to impress for a special occasion (we went for our wedding anniversary).
Great, the location is convenient, the dishes are very good and the waiters are very nice. A very good evening in couple. A big choice of wines and a bill is not expensive (not cheap but for the evening, that was decent price)
Wonderful food, courteous attentive service, very pleasant experience . My guest was pleased and the presentation of the food looks so good she had to take pictures.
Very elegant lunch experience; good food, lovely old-world style ambience and attentive service ! Good value for money as well, especially the set lunch menu, with various choices
Very good food and excellent service. They moved to the new location a couple of years ago. The old venue was more colonial while this one more chic. I will definitely go back.
Fantastic. Great service, great dish. Lovely environment. Thank you "Flutes" for the experience.
Food and services are OK except we dinned at a separate room which is quite isolated. Suggest to keep this room perhaps for private function only.
Flutes is a favourite for their excellent service and delicious food and I've never been disappointed. A particular favourite is the way they do fish. I've had fish a couple of times there and it's brilliant - satisfyingly crispy skin and tender, juicy bites beneath. The menu changes regularly so you're never bored and I certainly look forward to my next visit.
value for money for business lunch, great service from friendly and professional staff. however the wait for dessert is too long, it will be good if the kitchen can be alerted earlier to serve the dessert after main course
Delicious food with beautiful presentation, comfortable and cosy setting, with excellent and attentive services! My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed the executive set lunches here! Very value for money considering the excellent quality of the food, venue and services. We will definitely come back again!
Was told restaurant had large table bookings but we were practically alone from 6.30pm to 7.15pm safe for another table of 3 in the main dining hall. Thought the female server lacked initiative leaving us alone when my guest and I were in deep conversation, and yet earlier when we needed service to order earlier, she stood at a distance when the restaurant was practically empty. Food was pleasant but preferred their lunch.
I made reservation from the website and took my boss for set lunch. She was satisfied with the enviorment, service, food and location. Great food with great service!
Beautiful place, wonderful ambience, well trained staff. Food was great! Even though the food was pricey the portion was very generous! Will recommend people here and I would definitely be back again.
Luxury circumstance. Delicious food. Good service. I spent good time with my friend. 一皿 一皿 ソースが 美味しく、良い時間を 過ごせました!お値段は 高めだけれど、ちゃんとした 食事、ちゃんとした サービスを 期待するなら 是非 オススメ します。
The services was fantastic! The food was super! Flute will always be my favorite place to go, and ideal place to host my guests! Keep up the good work both frontline and kitchen!
I visited the resturant on a sunday for lunch. Unfortunately, they only serve bruch n not much of varity on the main course.... However, food and serve waa great. Will go again on normal days to try the other main course...
Wonderful - food, service, ambience was first-class - just as good as our first expience ar Flute some 5 years ago. Will not leave it that long to return!!
Food and service continues to be second to none. We did the brunch which for the quality presentation and atmosphere is fabulous value as well compared to some cafes around town. This place is all class.
Great service, food was simple and done well. Good ambience and especially liked the Geisha cocktail. And set in the cultural atmosphere of the National Museum is an added bonus.
Attentive and friendly service from all, especially from Rashid. Tenderloin short ribs, foie gras, scallops highly recommended, all boldly flavored and perfectly cooked. Spanish suckling pig overwhelmingly porky. We were pleasantly surprised with a complimentary beautifully decorated dessert for our wedding anniversary celebrations. Many thanks for the sweet ending.
A love at first sight with the place. The ambience and all are just in awe. It's very classy. Food and service were outstanding. Good experience !
The chef was generous, we get complimentary starter and a yummy colourful birthday dessert for my buddy. The ambience and hospitality was great. However, I was quite disappointed with my suckling pig as it was a bit overpriced for such a small portion. Overall very beautiful presentation and taste was not too bad too.
Good ambience and service. Staff are well trained and attentive. Food selection and quality was average. Do well to have private rooms for bigger crowd.
Beautiful museum restaurant for the executive lunch. Had the clam chowder, grilled snapper with mussells and deconstructed apple crumble. Excellent quality and we were well looked after by our sommelier! I have been twice before and Flutes never fails to impress. An old world and dignified setting.
A perfect spot for business lunches - table spacing allows for privacy. Set menus provide adequate choices and service is excellent.
Flutes has a nice ambience. The quality of the food was very good and the staff service level was also very good. Will definitely re-visit!
