If there’s one thing Singapore restaurants nail each time – well, one of the things – it’s Chinese hotpot, and La Jiang Shan Hotpot in Dhoby Ghaut is up there with the best of them. Oozing cool, this spot in the Parklane Shopping Centre showcases some of the most exciting takes on this cuisine and you’ll find a range of options on offer here. Also, this place offers an array of daily specials and deals, so you can be sure you’ll not only be in for an exceptional meal, but a well-priced one at that. If all that sounds right up your alley, reserve a table and get down to Selegie Road as soon as you can – you won’t be disappointed.
I will visit them again because food and everything there are excellent
Great place. Loved the individual pots. Selection of meats were decent. Unlike other chains which provides fatty meats only, this place has lean meats as well, allowing for more 'value'.
Really nice place with very nice and courteous staff!! Food was great too. Love the individual pot concept. Soup base was great too!! Awesome experience there.
Fresh ingredients and Super good service. The hot spicy soup wasn’t as tasty but the herbal soup is yummy. Will try tomato soup the next time!
Novel way of having hotpot though not new. Freshness is apparent at this eating place so it's definitely a plus for a steamboat meal. There's enough choices of food items to please, be it veg or meat. Beef and pork slices are consistently thin, which is really nice :) Much better than going to places like Suki-ya!! Only snag is prices aren't transparent -- soup base is extra; so are drinks. A single person meal came to $21 after 10% Quandoo offer, not $15.80++ as they would have you believe. Still, I'll be back with my family to eat again as overall this rates high on my (very stringent) list :)
Went with my friend and got the tomato and mala hotpot. The soup base is good and they top up with the soup base not just stock or water. Food is fresh and they top up frequently. Cooked food is also not bad. Lamb meat in mala pot is fantastic. Not smell. There is also an apron for you. Place is clean and nice. Will come back again.
This place has an amazing hotpot all you can eat for a reasonable price! I didn’t expect much when I came there but my friend and I got really positively surprised. They offer a large variety of food to choose from and the staff is very nice and forthcoming.
The food is fresh, staff is friendly and environment is good. Would recommend this to others and would be back regularly for lunch. Do note that drinks and soups are add ons and cost $$.
Staff were very friendly and prompt in providing services. Food was great as well and for spice lovers like myself, they do allow you to request for it to be extra spicy too
I like the variety of food and the vibe of the place there. The ambience is unexpected and cool for the place too. The korean videos are the icing on the cake.
