Don Dae Bak restaurant

Hope they will consider to provide fruits and dessert after the meal in future. Cooking plate was changed very frequently. Service is fast. Marinated meat is delicious. As the eating area is near to grill pan, we got splattered on occasions by the oil while cooking meat. Ventilator is close to grill so the smoke is contained.

Food was alright, but staff was not friendly. Adhere to safe distancing, but asked me to move over when I came first.

the staff there is very efficient. even thou they are having lunch but they still change the bbq plate promptly. thanks!

made a reservation for wed 6 oct but arrived at don dae bak and to my surprise, it wasn’t full house! the quality of the meat never fails, service was much better as compared to my first visit!!! rather attentive staff, their responses were nice & polite too :-) generous serving portions of the meat (for the buffet) and staff had the initiative to ask if we wanted to order more meat which was nice :-) overall, it was a great experience and meal! definitely full & satisfied, worth the $!

meat portion is pretty decent, went for the buffet. A little too salty for me, could have been better. lack of staff, took quite awhile to set up and bring the plates to us. the staff was nice, very attentive and change the grill plate very often. one person est 36. overall would give a 3.8/5. tbh wouldnt go back again for the buffet. alacarte would be much better, maybe nxt time will go for it.

Opted for buffet, the beef was so nice that even my daughter loved it. The staff was friendly and helpful. Overall a great experience 😄

Generous portions of meat which were very flavourful and delicious. However, service wasn’t fantastic the staff didn’t seem very happy to be serving us and waited quite a fair bit to get our food

Good food but quite busy for a late night visit

they were quite understaffed so the service was abit slow but good food!

Had to wait about 15 mins till we got our table as it was packed. Food was pretty good but the eating time felt tight as we were asked several times if we were done eating.

Waited for a good 30mins even with reservation made. Staff was friendly while food was kind of average. Ordered buffet meal, would have go for the ala carte the next time.

Need to do reservation before come down cos due to COVID 19 they cannot get too many customer in the shop at the same time

Second visit to this place, was much better than my first. Service during my first visit was much slower so today was a real treat - staff were quick to change the grill, refill steamed eggs, take orders etc. Food has always been great, very authentic Korean BBQ experience. Highly recommend going, but maybe during non-peak meal times.
