The food is fantastic. Service by both the manager and waiters are excellent too. A good host making sure you are well attended. I like also like the rustic feel in the restaurant where its give me the feeling of being in France :)

The restaurant serves great food in a nice, casual setting. It's a place that's great for a family gathering or a date with your beau.

This was our first visit to Bistro du Vin. The service was very good. Everyone was very friendly and helpful. The food was very good as well. My youngest loved the bread very much! My husband had a special fish dish with Sole. One of the staff offered to take the bones out for him which was very nice! My oldest had a mussels special and there were A LOT of them! He enjoyed the sauce very much! We all had dessert and they were all very good. definitely worth a try and we will be back.

I wanted to eat everything on the menu. For starters we had the foie gras terrine, cheese souffle and onion soup. The onion soup was a bit sweet. ..i tend to like the saltier taste...But it waa still good. Mains: duck breast, beef cheeks, Delicious. Dessert: grand marnier souffle and chocolate fondant. Ahhh. Satisfaction...

Once again, Fabulous food, attentive service, great value for money especially the set lunches. Was impossible to eat the 3rd course after the 1st two. Will definitely go again because the desserts are calling out to be eaten !!

Food is really yummy and very attentive service! Accept for the boiled potatoes on the salty side. Wine by per glass is worthwhile, unlike other restaurants Serve only less than half a glass!

Very good and complete set lunch available daily. Quiet and nice environment. Friendly and efficient staff. The beef stew is excellent. So is the duck rillete and choc tart

Very pleasant dining experience. Staff were very friendly. More importantly, food was good. My favourite is the stewed pork cheek. The wine is also well curated.

Had another very enjoyable evening at bistro du vin. Tried their beef cheek this time after having their pork cheek in my previous visit. The dish is just as good. Choice of wine makes a difference. Brought a bottle of Bordeaux this time and went very well with this. Burgundy red is a better complement to the pork cheek. Will definitely return to try its other dishes..

This is a little bit of Paris in Zion Road! Once inside you'll be transported to the Rue de Bac in the 7th arrondisement - complete with french maitre D. Food is authentic - even according to my chauvinistic French visitor. No higher praise.

Ordered French onion soup & escargot with garlic herb, both avg. Pan seared scallops & grilled cod fish are excellent. Pork blade? Meat is so tough that the 3 of us seems to be fighting the pig. Service is good. Overall experience - pleasant. We'll come back again.

Food was excellent. I had the lamb shank, very tender. Sauce was tomato based, very tasty. My companion had the plaice fish (daily special) which came with boiled potatoes (soft but not mushy) and sauteed button mushrooms. Potatoes and mushrooms were good. Fish had too many bones, but that was the fish not the chef.

They have a 2-course ($27) and a 3-course ($32) set lunch with really nice options. My friend had the smoked duck breast salad, pan fried salmon trout and creme brulee. I had the foie grois ravioli, beef bourgignon with mash and creme brulee. The food was very well prepared, the beef was so tender and I'm picky about my mash and they were almost as good as my own ;). My friend said her salad was delicious and she loved her pan-seared salmon too. My ravioli was only okay - but that just could be my taste buds. It was prepared and presented beautifully but just had a flavor that wasn't to my taste. The creme brulee, on the other hand, was so yummy and creamy with a nice caramelized topping. We ended our meal with a complimentary coffee/tea. The service was impeccable as well. Overall, a very lovely and enjoyable lunch for a great price! I highly recommend trying it out for lunch with the set menu, or in the evening with your loved one.

Authentic French fare, great wines and ambience at prices that won't make you wince! And you have a choice of full or half glass which is a useful option for drivers. The champagne and the Loire Valley Sancerre 2012 (white) were particularly good.

Open bottled water rather the usual tap water when asked about drinking water. Then realised error, tried to be attentive to service. Also bcos got very few customers during weekend lunch. In overseas restaurants, they don't charge for wrongful error. They even give complimentary items. Getting repeat clients utmost important. Cheaper to keep existing than acquire new clients

Fantastic food, great service! Poulet roti was a tender spring chicken baked perfectly. Creme brulee served in a shallow dish meant that there was more of that crackling caramel with each spoon of custard. Can't wait to be back!

Came with family and cousins during lunch hour and really appreciated the lack of a crowd. Service staff was friendly and knowledgeable and the overall vibe was laid back and care-free. Great variety of set lunch offerings at really good prices (about half the dinner prices) and hearty serving sizes to boot. Good feedback from family members all around as we all had the chance to try each of the dishes. some favourites were the Foie Gras, Duck Confit and seriously good French Onion Soup.

It was good. The staff was helpful and quick. Although there was some confusion when I called them. Was unsure if the booking has been confirmed. Went down a day after to check and changed the time by 30 mins later.

Good ambiance. Good food. Good service. Delicious bread! ps: I think people should not be forced to write a minimum of 25 words if they have nothing more to write or donor wish to construct longer sentences! Feedback should be up to an individual to post.

Booking - Online showed only 12pm time slot. - When we were there restaurant had only 10 patrons. - Not suitable if you want a conversation as tables are very close with echoey ambiance. Food (Set lunch) Complimentary bread was delicious, but was let down by butter which was too soft which was left sitting out on all the tables for too long. Foie gras ravioli is nice. Smoke duck salad is nice! generous serving but towards the salty side. Bone marrow was raw and cold below the bone and extremely salty green sauce topping, not sure if it's suppose to be this way? Looks better than it taste. Baked salmon trout was baked outside, sashimi raw inside. Sauce was tasty but doneness way off perhaps it was quite a big piece of fish? They recooked again, unfortunately the experience failed as initially they took a long time to serve and by the time the fish arrived the second time everyone had finished their mains. Braised beef was probably braised since yesterday, taste average with generous serving portion. Set lunch considered cheap, received great attentive service from staff but food was a disappointment :(
