Beng Hiang Restaurant

Food tastes somewhat average. Had to wait extremely long for each dish to be served, min 30min per dish. Didn't get to taste the mix of dish together. Overall environment seem really chaotic as well. Have concluded that they are probably more suited for wedding based hosting events whereby they can just prep a dish in bulk to serve than as a restaurant serving ala carte dishes.

Second visit and our tea pot serve till missing n we keep asking the waitress where is our pot ? Lot of crowd n the waitress all very busy till nvr return us the tea pot n we cnt top up outlet drink

Wonderful meal! Tried the dim sum for the first time, and they were delicious. I may go back and try the ALL YOU CAN EAT Dim Sum Buffet the next time!

Yummy old school food and good location to visit to

We have been regular customers of this restaurant for more than 30 years. Some of the old timer waitresses are still there. Service and food are good as usual.

Food quality and taste slightly went down compared in the past considering this is a restaurant which I patronized since young.

Beng Hiang serves good traditional Hokkien cuisine and this restaurant has been around for a long time already. Service is also very good.

Went there for mother's day and boy the restaurant was packed. Some dishes tasted really great and some were passable. Service team tried their best to keep up with the crowd but at times it was extremely hard to get their attention and food intervals were too long for a Chinese restaurant.

Family’s favourite hokkien restaurant. It’s spacious but entrance from ground floor was a bit hard to find.

Beng Hiang is a go-to place for traditional Hokkien food. Have been here several times (and since when to they were at Amoy Street)

food is enjoyable as usual. only thing was they wanted to charge us for a glass of warm water when we all had tea (and paid for). was a little taken aback. restaurant can think about being less cheap, especially when we are all paying patrons of refillable tea.

as usual, we appreciated the food very much but have our reservations on the service. but think of it as the old school not service oriented kind of setting in the past, then it's quite a good experience.

Food was ok, just feel like atas zi char dishes. Service staff overwhelmed by more tables of bigger groups after relaxed dining rules, took them forever to take our order & serve our dishes. To make it worst, we were placed next to a very loud table of drinking uncles. We had to shout across our table to make ourselves heard & wished to leave asap. Not a very nice experience, or we are just unlucky.
