Bao down to Singapore’s first concept store to serve these flavour-filled Chinese buns. In 2015, Bao Makers opened in a century old Peranakan house in Chinatown. It wasn’t long before they were known around town for serving some of the city’s greatest baos, and locals and visitors alike continue to flock to their Jiak Chuan Road spot today. On top of bao, the restaurant also serves fresh sushi, rice bowls, salads and other mouth-watering fusion dishes to share between family and friends. A beautiful facade of floral tiles only adds to the charm and creates the perfect setting for romantic dates and other special occasions.
