Good and very well prepared French cuisine. Set dinner was great. Very Friendly and alert service. Nice ambience Recommended to diners who enjoy fine dining and french food.
Very good food and atmosphere at a decent price for a whole family occasion. The foie gras is to die for and a must try if it is your first visit.
Food was excellent but unfortunately the Servicewas horrible 👎 E.g. Waiting time for tea more than 25 minutes...we had to follow up 3 times till we got the tea
Set lunch was excellent and well priced at SGD49 pp+++ for three courses. The chorizo mash on the side was excellent, very decent snails and steak as well.
Wonderful setting & privacy, delicious wine and great food with decent portion. This is a place that I will definitely recommend for dates or important meeting functions.
We enjoyed our dinner at the restaurant, and we thought that the set dinner was good value for money. We will definitely dine there again.
Great service. Good amount of options for price fix lunch and really good value for 39++. The food was top quality. Recommend the snails and pork belly.
Service was superb . I didn't get the name of the waiter but he is attentive to details . As I have a small appetite and didn't manage to finish my food , he bothered to check with me if there was anything wrong with the food every single time . They were supposed to closed at 11pm but waited for my friend and I to finish up our desserts . Told us no rush and to enjoy our desserts . A place I will definitely patronize again :)
The parmesan cream on beef carpaccio was not adding anything to the dish, maybe too little of it. Chicken breast was under seasoned / not enough sauce to go with.
Great atmosphere , excellent food, fantastic service. From the moment we arrived, the staff was very attentive and made sure everything went well. The dishes were succulent, from the foie gras to the duck leg to the mash potatoes. Desert was delicious too. We'll Be back!
I like the newly renovated APS which had the indoor portion extended. Waiters were attentive and the food was good and served relatively quickly :)
Food is delicious as always, however they did not have the wagyu that is usually included in the set and instead replaced that with a regular tenderloin. I would think that they could have offered something from the a la carte menu slightly scaled down for the set but they were pretty rigid and did not allow that. So while the food was delicious, perfectly seared foie gras, well cooked meats and service prompt, the experience was slightly spoilt by small matters like that which could have easily been solved. Such a shame. Also, the tuna tempura starter did not have a crispy exterior so was slightly tough on the outside. A warm bread basket is always a plus though.
Sevice ok... not good... some mistakes in the ordering food choice ... and too quick... Food not really good ... foie gras bad quality ...
Great food, attentive staff and wonderful ambience.Set lunch menu offers a lot of good choices. Always a pleasure to dine at Au Petit Salut with friends.
I have always enjoyed the ambience of the restaurant. We chose to dine indoors because it was lunch and the weather was rather hot, but I can imagine that it would be great to dine out in the evening. The food is great and the staff friendly and attentive.
The food is consistently good and the service is excellent. Love the hokkaido scallop and the lunch menu set is value for money. Will be back again!
Had a wonderful lunch at Au Petit Salut with my family on a Saturday afternoon. The service is excellent. We took the set lunch, appertizer was good, main is just average. Chicken is a little tough and bland. The pasta needs improvement. Pasta on the first serving was just overcook, the replacement was too heavy on the salt.
Food was good. Service staff were average delays in coming for orders. We had to have to wait for 45minutes for each course to arrive. Staff had no sense that this was unexpectable in any self respecting restaurant. Service recovery was bad. V v unlikely we will go to Petit again.
Lovely ambience, good service, excellent meal, and delicious wine pairing. The set menu has many options. They all sounded so good it was difficult to choose among them.
As nice as always, ambience, service, food, drinks, and everything, go and try it out, def be a good experience! And you will love it for sure!
good service, nice food. should go during lunchtime because of the special lunch offer that they provide. recommend the hokkaido scallop, very fresh and nice
We have been going for years but the food and service has deteriorated since last year. 50 Dollars for my 3 main course scallops and the tiniest piece of fish that my husband was servied - even my 10 year old would have been left hungry. Service very slow and not very attentive. Waited 45 mins for starter. I think I've said enough!
As usual, i would give Au Petite Salut a 5 star rating for their service. Crew was very attentive. Lunch menu is very reasonably priced for the quality of food you get.
Nice ambience. Service was not bad and food was ok with some hits and misses. Lunch menu is good value for money. Might go back again
Cozy restaurant not very formal as we expected. The food quality is decent quality and I like the foie gras pie (cold starter). Price is reasonable.
The restaurant offers consistently almost impeccable service, always eager to please. Food is great and set lunches offer some delicious choices.. I like the renovated interior, refreshing yet cozy.
Perfect for our lunch date on a weekday! Great food, great price, and great recommendation of wine for pairing. It's our first lunch at Au Petit Salut after dining there for three times.
Well executed dishes, especially the beef tenderloin. All dishes were professionally played. Exploding chocolate cake dessert was decadently. Excellent service and good value for money.
Great ambience, service and food. Main course was a bit slow but it give us time to enjoy the ambience. Was also pleasantly surprised that the restaurant prepared a dessert for my 3-yr old daughter.
Food is lovely, love the endless supply of freshly baked warm bread rolls and the rosemary creme brulee. We are seated outdoor and the staff were very attentive throughout the 90 minutes we were there.
The four of us ordered an array of food. The lobster bisque ravioli starter in their lunch special probably outshone the duck entree. The Hokkaiso scallop was also worth the top-up. One of the desserts which I forgot the name has these droplets with the raspberry which tasted like hospital antiseptic (though don't ask me whether or how I ever tasted that before! Lol!) The tenderloin beef was very good though the flank steak was not so. However, not sure why my booking request that it was my daughter's birthday slipped through the crack.
The service staff did what they had to do but I felt that their expressions and mannerisms were not professional enough. The first staff that ushered us in seemed to be sniggering under her breath when she first saw my friend and I while guiding us to our seats. It was uncalled for and definitely affected the experience that we anticipated to be lovely and welcoming. Otherwise, the food was great. Hopefully, we can have a better experience with the service staff next time.
The bavette was tender and the butter garlic goes perfectly with it. Desserts were good. The chocolate cake with the mango espuma was delicious. The ice chestnut was great too. Choose the pineapple carpaccio if you don't feel hungry anymore but with a sweet tooth. Yogurt banana ice cream is good.
As always it such a pleasure to dine at the restaurant. Food is good and service excellent. I love the new extension ! Will be back for sure!!!
Excellent food and service, would recommend Au Petit Salut for a lunch or dinner. We (a couple) were seated alone when a bunch of people arrived, sat next to us and began a lively conversation - the Maître D', unprompted, asked if we would like to move to a more quiet part of the restaurant, which we thought was a very nice gesture. Food was very nicely presented, of fresh ingredients and delicious. The premises has just been refurbished and has a lovely feel - greenery all around, a section which was previously open has been glazed and air-conditioned - very comfortable.
This was a very nice lunch with colleagues. Good for business lunch. They offer a very good value set lunch. Service is good, food is delicious.
A nostalgic place for us - we celebrated our engagement here. Food & service was good, even if the quality was slightly less excellent than we remembered. Still a beautiful cosy place to enjoy a quiet evening.
The ambiance is good, the service staff are very polite. However, the food is a tad salty for our likings but the beef is good.
Lovely venue for a date night. Relaxed and private atmosphere. Food was excellent and reasonably priced. The service was also fast and efficient. We will be coming back!
Great atmosphere and great food, presentation is awesome. This is the second time we go there and it's a great place for corporate events. Highly recommended.
It would be much better to have at least 2 pieces of the Hokkaido scallops - a solitary piece just too few to savour the starter.
Great Experience and ambience, Positives : Loved the escargots, Crème Bruelee, and Pasta with Squidin source. However, the desert potions were too small, especially the Waffle ( Only a quarter of the waffle was served ).
The food was great and the lunch set was very value for money! But the service could be a tad friendlier! Will def be back again
Tried St Valentin 2017 set menu. I and my partner were very disappointed with the dessert. Saffron risotto cake was too hard. The rest was average.
Great ambience, and the foie gras was prepared superbly. Beef tenderloin unfortunately came out as medium rather than the requested medium rare. Taken as a sum, the establishment did well enough to meet expectations.
I went here for my birthday and specified that in the reservation. While I thoroughly enjoyed the food as I always do at Au Petit, I thought they had should have had more initiative as I saw another table having a birthday cake from the restaurant. Notwithstanding the above, the food is great and I would always recommend Au Petit.
Located in Dempsey Hill, a good location off the city area. The ambience is wonderful, good place to have fine dining. However, service can be improved. Was asked to leave exactly 2 hours after occupying the table yet the speed at which the dishes were served was very long.
Service was substandard given the reputation of the restaurant and the special Valentine day dinner package we signed up. The ambience was nice and food was good. A bit disappointing though as it was a special occasion for me and my girlfriend. There were no smiles on the staff and seems like they were unhappy or stressed up.
The dining room of Au Petit Salut is nice and cosy. The food is decent - nothing too avant-garde or challenging. A nice white-tablecloth spot for dinner.
Set lunches at this restaurant have always been consistently good. Great ambience & fantastic service.
