Yakitori Yatagarasu / HANARE

I am paying money for my food, and spent over $400… yet I have to deal with poor service staff with their bad attitude and unfriendly vibes. Killed the entire evening even though the food was good. Not coming back anymore.

Food and service not as great as the main outlet a few doors away

Food is always good here. Prompt service too. Place can be quite noisy with talkative customers.

Such a fun spot with different parts of chicken skewers available. (Skin, cartilage, bishops nose). Get the coriander or cabbage salad for some greens and texture with your meal

very good food. worth a trip down and make your order at once when ordering. additional order may take some time as the restaurant is filling other customers’ orders.

Food’s tasty! I went for the skewers and ignored the rest 😂 note that there’s a mandatory order of 1 beverage per pax. Soft drinks (even green tea) cost $10 per glass and high ball costs $9 — looks like they really want you to imbibe in their alcoholic beverages 😂

Same menu after many years and lack of repeated yakitori items to select from. Used to be one of my favourite restaurant choices but not anymore.

Love the ambience, good and authentic Japanese Yakitori. Good service as well. Will definitely go back again. Must try the tontoro skewer, Dumpling skewer and chicken wings.

Yatagarasu is the one of the most authentic yakitori restaurant in Singapore.

One of my family’s favourite uakitori place. Lovely selection. Only thing is they don’t top up your tea and each cup is $6.

The food is really delicious and has good quality for the given price! My favourite place for Yakitori. Some grilled items like the chicken wings require a longer waiting time so do order them in advance. The noise level can be high but it's to be expected at an Izakaya. It is compulsory for every headcount to order a drink.

Liked the cosy atmosphere but food was largely average. Chicken porridge was pretty good though.

The waiting outside was hot if I recall but it was good service indoors. Food was excellent.

My favourite yakitori place in Singapore thus far! Solid quality at the price point! Have returned multiple times :) You know a yakitori joint doesn’t disappoint when their salt sprinkled sticks taste amazing without being drenched in sauce!

Overall the food is nice but can be slightly less salty. :)

This is genuine yakitori. The restaurant was a bit noisy to talk.

A really nice hole in the wall izakaya with friendly staff and good food and drinks. Do note that there are 2 stores next to each other with different chefs and in my opinion, the one on the right has the better food.

Overall great experience. Good value. Tokyo vibe. Would recommend for after work.
