The crew was very friendly and helpful. They are very willing to suggest a game for you and would really love to explain the rules. But I was not a fan with the food.

Good selection of games, free flow soft drink was flat, food wasn't very nice, service was slow, couldn't buy a beer but the concept was fun

Extremely calculative, we were not done with our food and as our gaming time was up and we were halfway thru 'Sequence', we requested for them to allow us to just complete the game and we'll end the session (as it's a pretty fast game), but they insisted to charge us a pro-rates overtime extension amount just to complete the game. Well done Mind Cafe, for a mere $3.75 extra charge (for 6pax)........... Food was also terrible. We had the curry samosa, chicken wings, seaweed chicken and chicken baked rice. how does anyone screw up simply deep-fried food?! They were soggy, over-fried and super dry. never coming back! Our experience at Settlers was way better, as were the food & drinks.

Great place to spend the afternoon with a wide variety of board games (I personally have never heard of more than half of the games there!)

When the cafe is fully packed the noise level tends to be loud. If only they can sector the tables into rooms to control the noise levels.

Great place to hang out with friends after a day's work w/o spending much. Enjoyed playing the games, loads of laughter, fun and reminiscent of my childhood's pastime.

Apparently there's a $10 service charge. It's too overpriced knowing that you paid an hourly rate for the games. They also lack staff. The games are alright but if you don't know how to play them, you'll be wasting a lot of time before having fun.

Noisy place as usual but that's what you expect in a gaming cafe. Some of the game tools were missing and we couldn't play. Took a while to get a staff's attention

Wide variety of board games at a very reasonable price. This place has almost every board/card game you can think of. Great for a day out with families and friends!

The service was poor. They didn't inform those who have reserve that they will be closing early a few days before. Quite a number of the food in the menu is not available.

Place was understaffed. The aircon was leaking but staff did not put a sign or rearranged the tables. Service could be better. Price for the festive season was reasonable.

Enjoyable! The staff were very friendly and helpful and patient, explaining the games, and if there were any parts of the games that they weren't sure of, they were humble to admit and directed us to other staff/other sources for help.

There was a huge variety of board games- most of which were extremely fun. Had to -3 because the package that we got (Christmas package) came with free munchies and drinks, but they were almost completely out of the munchies and the drinks were subpar. Also there was this group of 10 that were going bananas next to us screaming at a very high pitch while playing the game for a good half an hour, which is more than sufficient to tick anybody off. There was also an event which made it ridiculously noisy and overbearing at times, but on a normal day I'd imagine it'd be pretty pleasant- do check if there is an event going on that day before heading down.

Staff was not friendly. He was more of impatient and bad in explaining the games. I had a better experience in Funan branch though where the staff was meticulous and helpful.

It was horrible. They used to have chips now it's just prawn and lobster crackers. Totally not friendly for people with seafood allergy. After i told the guy that i can't eat any of those snacks, he just shrugged his shoulders and walked away. The games were really badly maintained, the cards and game boards were wet from the drinks, no maintenance whatsoever. The games had missing instruction manuals and the people in the shop told me to google it on my own because they didn't know how to play. The place was disgustingly dirty. The chips were all over the floor. The table was extremely wet and not condusive for boardgaming. Overall a really shitty experience, I'm never going back.

Ambiance isn't as great as the funan branch. The place feels a little flat, looks more like an eatery rather than a place to chill and to play board games. The place is also too narrow so there are limited types of seating. As such we couldn't get a big round table which will facilitate games for big groups. However, the service was good, the staff were proactive in recommending games there catered to our size (14). I was, however, disappointed that some of the games that were in the process of being decommissioned due to wear and tear were not replaced for us to play, as some of the decommissioned games were quite interesting.

The cafe is easily accesible and air-conditioned. It's also Muslim-friendly as the Bencoolen Mosque is a 5min walk away. However the tables are too close to each other and the menu isn't halal-certified.

The staff was very understanding when four of our members couldn't come. Just a slight downside is that the place was rather noisy, and I understand that it's because of the crowd, but if it were possible to place some 'cushion' material to soften the walls, I think that the noise rebound would be lesser :)

It was alright. Would be great if there's at least one staff that knows how to play all the games, so we wouldn't have to figure it out ourselves. Overall it's bearable:)
