Excellent service by Vincent! Food was delicious, ambience and service was good, and their signature blackforest cake is indeed one of the best around. Will definitely return again for more!

The best thing we ever had was the Black Forest Cake! I could taste the alcohol in the tart cherries and the crust at the bottom was pretty unusual!

Really good atmosphere and food! Pork knuckle is a must have!

when i entered the restuarant, there wasnt anyone to guide me in and i have walk in further to ask for seats. Food was not bad. we ordered the roast pork belly alio alio, single portion pork knuckle, summer salad and pumpkin soup. overall experience was quite ok but their service could be better and more attentive to their customer.

Had a lovely dinner here and enjoyed the music from the two-member group that played light hits and entertained requests from the few tables of patrons. We received warm service from the servers and manager throughout the meal on a rather quiet Saturday. As it was the CNY period, it was a pity their signature blackforest cake, which the cafe is named after, wasn't available. Otherwise this cosy cafe is a place to revisit every now and then for sure!

My first time at this restaurant. Manager, Vincent, n his team's service was immaculate! Special request for secret massage to come with the cAke order was handled subtly and professionally. Food was fantastic with Vincent giving use recommendations that spoilt us with choices! Went for Pork Knuckles n Pizzw (bacon, Onion and mushroom) n his recommended Draft of dunkel! Wooooo! Awesome! Blackforest cake was as reviewed, yummilicous! Will definitely return!

Is a nice environment and very attentive staff. It was a nice experience in this cafe. Would definitely recommend it to my friends. Keep it up

Food was delicious and portion sizes generous. Staff were attentive (but not to the point of hovering) and very pleasant. Do try their drink recommendations!

Authentic German food and beverages, such as Schweinshaxe, Schweineschnitzel, Weissbier and Spätburgunder, are served here. This is definitely one of best German restaurants in Singapore. While not a budget choice, the prices here are competitive with its peers. The dessert Schwarzwälder Kirschtorte is the best in town and a must try.

Did not expect the restaurant to only serve the Christmas set dinner for our reservation on 23 Dec 2018. Received a confirmation call for our reservation (10 pax) a day prior and menu restrictions were not communicated then. We decided to have a round of starters and drinks before leaving for another restaurant that is more reasonably priced for the festive season.

Great ambience, good food, affordable prices, lovely service. Had a great time with a group of 10. We had dinner though location may be a bit tricky so it’s best to follow the physical signs

The food was good (the pork knuckle is worth it). Black Forest cake is FAR too small and WAY overpriced. Live music with Miss Lou was AMAZING!!!!

Nice environment. Lighting was soft. Music was nice and soft too. Decoration is stunning. Just that the main entrance can be better. Was a bit lost whether did I enter the correct restaurant.

Only tibits and Christmas set available during Christmas Eve noon . Renovation nearby so the environment was bad , too noisy. And coffee machine was spoiled during Christmas Eve, bit disappointed

This place is a great find and I’ve been coming here, both old and current locations, over the years enjoying the nice food and atmosphere.

They were very accomodating to us and our mess. My boy was running around and they were still so polite. 5 stars for the service! As for the desserts...they are all so delicious! So was the pork knuckles!

First time experience was great! Service was great! Floor manager of the day was great ! The choices he recommended were indeed good! My husband get to finally eat the best blackforest for his birthday! They were also nice enough to arrange a little surprise for my hubby and floor manger sing a birthday song for him too! Will definitely be back with friends in future!

The pork knuckle was one of the best I have tried and the black forest cake certainly lived up to the hype and expectationd. The service was also great and the staff were really helpful, warm and attentive.

Food was excellent! We ordered the pork knuckle plater for 4 person. Crispy skin & good meat. Black forrest cake is amazing although i found it expensive for a small slice. Service should be improve as we have to call the waiter many times to refill water during our 2.5hours stay. They forgotten to serve the tea that comes with the cake. The place was not fullhouse.

Tried a slice of the signature black forest cake for $14++. Cake was really good as you could taste the alcohol in the cake. Cream was light and you could just keep on going. A pity the portions were little.

Cosy with good service. Pumpkin soup was hot and delicious, saudage w mash starter was very satisfying, single portion pork knuckle really had good crunchy skin and well seasoned tender meat. Top these up with wine followed by black forest cake and non stop conversation makes an enjoyable dinner date! 😊

Nice cosy place for dinner. Beer was fantastic but could be cheaper or the happy hour could be extended longer on weekdays. Music could be softer.

Amazing decoration and environment, transporting us to a German village, complete with occasional sound from the various cokoo clocks. Great tasting food in huge potion.

Waiter said need to wait 20min but food arrived within 5min. Love the Black Forest cake & Chicken sausage also pretty good! Very good singer & guitarist that night, a very enjoyable night 🤗

The place is central and decoration was very homely, and cosy and child friendly. the food was served very quickly and tasted ok. Service was prompt.

2nd time to this place. Order pizza, pork knuckle, sausages, desserts and drink. Yummy food and nice ambience! Recommend for group gathering to celebrate birthday, family gathering, team bonding, etc.

Good food and service. There’s a live band and the experience was really fun. Me and friends had a great time! Will definitely go again!

The portions were huge and food was good. However the Squid ink risotto was a tad too salty for me. Perhaps can consider having halved portions for the pork knuckle. Other than that, I really enjoyed the ambience and the staff who were very attentive and service-oriented. Overall, both me and my partner enjoyed our dinner very much and will recommend to others.

We went there just for the black forest cake. It was ok, comes in a set with tea. Unique decor. Overall pleasant experience, no complaints.

Nice german old town ambience. The german food were good as with their beer. Sausages were very tender and flavorful. Pork knuckle was very crispy and fragrant. Must try their dessert platter, 4 choices at $38. We tried signature blackforest cake, cheese cake, apple crumble, lava cake. All of them were really amazing and came at usual serving size! Simply good!

1 mark short of the full marks - for running out of the much-anticipated blackforest cake. Will go back again for the splendid service and cosy ambience, and the cake of course! =p

Great place to chill and relax. Bring your friends along and head over to eat and drink. Great singers on Wednesday, Friday and Saturday. Wednesday is ladies night, so bring your girlfriends along to enjoy a cup of nice honey-ish moscato.

Had the best blackforest cake I’ve tried and it was available this visit. It had the right amount of liqueur, nice texture and that awesome red cherry on top. Pork knuckle could have been a little more tender at some parts. Dunkel Beer on tap was great as usual.

The Black Forest cake sold out but they don’t even bother to inform us in advance. What a disappointing experience! We purposely went down to try the cake.

Nice place with live music. Food is good especially the drinks. The coke mix is a nice drink and the black forest cake is nice but expensive.

Brought my friends to now my favourite German Pork Knuckle Cafe! They liked that the pork knuckle was done so well and served in a generous portion! Vs their experience at another German eatery in SG. Keep up the standard SCafe!

Juicy meat with crispy crackling pork knuckle, and sauerkraut was amazing with very well preserved finely grated cabbage with bacon bits in it - served warm and moist! The best I’ve had so far in Singapore!

Disappointed that pork knuckle was sold out, draught beer is not available so only bottled beer we had to satisfy with, and blackforest cake was also sold out. Recommended friends there this evening. My wife and I felt embarassed in disappointing our two friends.😳

Food was lovely, service was good. Mentioned we had a birthday girl dining together that day and was surprised with a free slice of cheesecake. Overall value for money and the diner's decorations are beautiful too:)

Ambience, service and food was great! Would definitely return for another occasion. Pity the black forest cake was out of stock. But the lava cake with vanilla ice cream was great! My Husband loved that the beer was going at 1-for-1.

Very pleasant ambience, good food & service. Ordered their famous pork knuckle (singe portion) and was not disappointed. The thin crust pizza was a pleasant surprise. Too bad their super famous black forest cake was sold out, but the lava chocolate cake with ice cream was very good (must try!). An awesome place to chill with friends or go on date with your special one.

The food is delicious and the staff are attentive and polite. This is my second time at the restaurant and I'll definitely go back again.

Good beer, ambience but food was not well cooked. Pork belly and noodles were fine but not crispy. The whole pork knuckle crust was thick and hard. Disappointing! Tasted better. The mash tasted like it was from a pre-mix. Squid ink Mushroom risotto was gd and so was the Black Forest cake.

Cosy restaurant with great ambience. Many Nutcrackers and German decorations. Decent food, great blackforest cake and 1 for 1 beer promo.

Service was great, food is delicious and worth the money. However I felt that the staff was anxious to make us leave after the meal even when there wasn’t a significant crowd.
