Very nice ambience, food was excellent, especially the black forest cake.

The food was great. Unfortunately the air conditioning doesn’t seem to be working, it’s too warm. Great live music but speakers are too loud for conversations.

They waiter told us they are not allowed to serve tap water because of corona virus. The maultaschen were undercooked and they told me that is usual. It is not — I lived in Stuttgart. The music is pop music...this is a German restaurant. Pass

Black forest cake is the best. But now you can't reserve over phone. You gonna pay beforehand in order to reserve the cake for another day. Terrible experience for not able to enjoy it during the first reservation.

Had set lunch with free flow tomato soup and a delicious lava cake for dessert. Quiet and cozy place to catch up with friends 1 to 1.

It's good. But the roasted pork aglio olio was a big disappointment.

Our purpose were to try the handmade Black Forest cake. Unfortunately the staff informed us that it’s wasn’t available that day as there was a power shut down the night before, hence their chef couldn’t make prepare the cake. Also, service was slow.

Love the ambience. Service was great too and my friends enjoyed the food. It’s a great way of celebrating Christmas with friends

Nice decor and ambience. Platter's serving was on the small side and the food was average. Beer was good. Parking redemption is available if you park at Hotel Rendezvous.

Beetroot cream soup and complimentary breads were a lot tastier than expected for a free flow item. Restaurant decor is gorgeous too👌🏻

Overall a very disappointing experience. The food has nothing to do with German or Swabian taste whatsoever. The side salad came without any dressing. The traditional Flammkuchen was tasteless and burnt. The half chicken was covered in what can only be a mediocre sweet and sour marinade (nothing to do with the traditional German grilled chicken). Would never recommend this to anyone who is looking for German food.

Went with my hubby for lunch. We had grilled salmon and their famous pork knuckles, plus apple strudel for dessert. Overall a satisfying meal :)

The black forest cake is good and the staff are very nice as well. Food and drinks are nice too. Recommended if you will like to have a cosy place for a German beer.

Finally got to try their "killer" BF cake... must say it's good though hardly any liquor content as claimed in other reviews :) The pork schnitzel was a let down with the slightly tougher meat texture, possibly due to no so thin cut. Have tasted a much smoother chicken version in Europe before! Last thing not tried is their beer... another visit in the horizon?

Value for money set lunches here. Good service and nice environment. Didn't know their namesake Black Forest cake is to die for, so i should be back to verify that lol :)

I went there to enjoy their weekday lunch deal that was advertised online. However, when we went there we were told that only a very selected list of mains could be ordered with that promotion. On telling the staff that we could not eat beef and pork, they still merely said sorry and left us with a selection of 3 mains 2 of which we could not eat. They were not willing to make any other suggestion to cater to our needs. So though their food was reasonably good I left with an unpleasant feeling and will not return to that restaurant.

Nice & cosy restaurant. I ordered pork knuckles and they are tasty! Ordered lava cake as dessert and it's really yummy! Will definitely come back again! 👍

The staffs were friendly and helpful with recommendations, the service was impeccable. The waiting time was a little long but the food came cooked to perfection so it's worth the wait. There's live acoustic music every Saturday and the volume can be a little too loud for casual chatting. Nonetheless, the atmosphere is cosy and it's a great place for celebrating special occasions.
