The service was fantastic, and the location was really convenient. The food was also very diverse but yummy at the same time. Definitely worth a visit!

No qualms about the food and atmosphere! Could be a little quicker on the service though! But I think the people there are trying their best!

Cosy Japanese restaurant which serves up great and tasty dishes. Specially loved the rosti mentaiko and kani gratin! Totally recommended! The sashimi was fresh and melts in the mouth. Yums.

Nice atmosphere, crowded on a Friday night so skewers were generally slightly overcooked. But the other dishes were all quite yummy. Selection of sake was good too.

Service was slow, guess they were shorthanded. We were seated but menu was not passed to us. Service staff were just zooming past everyone and it was really hard to get their attention, and even if we did, they would ask us to wait. We eventually got the menus ourselves at the counter. Waited really long for the food to come, more than 1 hour and our dishes were not served completely including the potato salad which was supposed to be the appetizer. We got so tired of waiting that we cancelled 2 dishes. Food was ok. We had the buta don, spicy salmon don, aburi mackerel, rosti mentaiko but overall, I wouldn't visit again because it's just not worth the wait and money.

Helpful staff who guided us through the menu. Reasonable price for the food we had. Fun times had with groups, good sake collection to boot.

Lovely place with awesome food. We spent about $60/pax including 2 draft beers and a cocktail. Food was fresh especially the scallops. Quite an authentic experience judging by the number of Japanese customers there. We'll be back.

Waiting time between orders was inconsistent, with grill items arriving after more than 20 minutes from second orders, with the latter being mixed up. Saving grace were a few food items (e.g. rosti mentaiko). Th kani gratin has a slightly overpowering mayonnaise aftertaste, while the negi kushiyaki was tough to bite.

Very friendly and hospitable hosts who spare no efforts in addressing your queries, providing great recommendations and explaining the different sakes and food to go with the sake.

Lively ambience great for casual date or a large group. wide selection of Kushiyaki and sake. There were quite a few Japanese customers so I suppose it must be pretty authentic! Will come back for the kushiyaki

Super delicious food and great atmosphere! The place is quite unique, because it feels like you are in a friendly pub (rather than a restaurant), but the food is top quality and tastes like in a posh Japanese restaurant. Mentaiko scallop is a must!
