Shin Minori Restaurant

Staff were pleasant and polite. Food was really great and served fast. the sashimi were fresh and each serving was generous. We loved the pumpkin chawanmushi. The Kushi-age were also good. We enjoyed the meal and will definitely come again.

Excellent value for money, food options mostly decent, a few random sushi combinations, but the rest is very good. Great place for a small gathering. Nice, friendly staff

Service is efficient and friendly with a few missed on.orders. but thats secondary since you can order again from the buffet list. Fresh sashimi. Excellence variety for buffet. Good place for family and small gathering.

Service was average. Buffet selection were boring and the food were decent quality.  One disappointing part is - for this price of $39++ on a X'mas day lunch, they can't even include green tea in it. We still have to pay extra for the tea. Most Japanese buffet include at least green tea.

The sashimi was good , fresh.. and the garlic fried rice was yummy as well too. The serving was rather fast and the staff was friendly

Good ambience for group gatherings, food is generally fresh and tasty, service is quick. Overall, the lunch buffet was value for money. Would recommend for groups.

Food was decent for the price. Main issue was with the ordering system using the tablet which kept crashing or would not submit the order properly. Sometimes submitted but kitchen does not receive the order

Service standard is dropped not like before. Slow food service, not very friendly supervisor. Staffs are all good. If they want customers to leave early, then serve the food more promptly.

Generally we are satisfied with the quality and the service, only the fried crab is too salty . We frequented your Restaurant once in two months.

Busy restaurant, but easy self ordering system and friendly service. The grilled and fried items take longer to arrive, so plan accordingly. Will visit again.

Price is not worth the quality of the food. Sashimi wasn't THAT fresh (only the salmon was relatively good); the tuna and mekaijiki had extremely weird colours, as well as weird cuts. All the other dishes in the ala-carte buffet were pretty much mediocre. Singapore has other places you can go to for better quality, and at lower prices.

Good, the booking process was smooth and fast with no problem At Shin Minori, the service is efficient and friendly. The sashimi and sushi are fresh but some of the grilled items are a bit small and dried. Overall experience and food is still good.

Food and atmosphere is nice. Bought the SG50 vouchers. really worth the price. Highly recommended. But location is a bit inaccessible. about 4 bus stops away from mrt

Good food, efficient service. Likely to be paying a second visit. Although, the restaurant should consider offering free flow of green tea instead of charging for it. Most places with Japanese buffets (at the same price range) do NOT charge for tea.

Food was of superb quality, buffet concept did not defer from the quality of the offerings presented. Service was prompt and professional, would come again

We had the ala-carte buffet but when we tried ordering, their electronic menu system kept hanging and needed to be rebooted constantly. Otherwise, food was very good and fresh. Staff delivered an extremely good service and food was always served promptly. ( I am a returning customer and have visited the restaurant 4 times last year)

The food is good but it's served too lately. customer have to wait for a lonf time even it's not busy time. EXCEPT THIS, IT'S SATISFYING ME.

Menu was pretty extensive for their lunch buffet but the dishes were both hits and misses. There's room for improvement in terms of service standard.

It was actually quite good! Not very crowded as we went on a weekday lunch. Service was fast and food quality and variety were great! Recommended!

Food quality Average n variety limited for the price paid. Probably good value for just selected sashimi lovers. service for first orders fast but subsequent orders slowed down n a few orders lost. Guest can self order with app provided at table but no way to show outstanding orders so waited for a while before finding out that they did not receive orders. Tried to communicate with some waiters n they seemed not to understand you at all.

I went to the restaurant at 7:30pm. Reservation process was easy and staff made a call to confirm the reservation on that day itself. Food was nice, sashimi was fresh and service was good.

The ambience was good as usual with the crowd. The waiting time for food in between was just righg. Food was satisfying and worth the money definitely!

It was really good food compare the price. My children loved the food and the speed of delivery. We also found out about ordering system by electric menu. Very convenient.

The sushi is freshly-made, from wide-range of fry, stir, grill ! Must try if you are a "slave" to sushi ! They are juicy and delicious !

The food and service were good but one of the staffs was quite rude and inpatient when we asked about the food that we couldn't find in the menu.

Overall ambience okay just that I find it abit stuffy. Swordfish sahimi was the main reason which my hubby and I went to the restaurant but it was a let down as it is not that fresh. Staff is not attentive enough to refill our hot tea throughout the whole meal until we asked for the refill when we almost done with our meal. Probably will not go again.

My first time at Shin Minori. The food was excellent and definitely value for money. Service was prompt and good. Look forward to coming again.

Reservations at at this restaurant are certainly recommended especially if you are visiting in a big group of > 4 people. We arrived at 6pm for our reservations and were possibly the first dinner dining patrons. However, it took quite a while before we were attended to. We were standing up front waiting to be noticed by any one staff. Ordering is easy, with a tablet attached to the table. Find what you want, based on number or dish name and submit your orders accordingly. One thing to note though, that orders are lumped together. So say you order 3 portions of sashimi and a friend orders 2 portions, the 5 portions are served up together. Of course that is if you make the orders at about the same time. Service was fast initially but gradually slowed with the number of customers coming in. Because we were on the ala carte buffet, we soon lost track of where we were with our orders. And, there was somehow no way of figuring out what has been served, what was still pending.. especially for orders that were not so outstanding... like say, a plate of sashimi. Do note that, being on the buffet, drinks are not included in the pricing and can amount to alot (with flavoured drinks starting from S$3.50) each.

Fresh sashimi! I love this place for a casual lunch or dinner.

The food served were fresh and taste was very satisfactory for the price that was paid. Staff were friendly but they not very attentive. Patronized on a Tues for dinner and there was only two of us... put us in a small table when the restaurant is Prob only 40% filled. Request for a larger table was refused.. :( Staff was slow in clearing the empty dishes. The table was already small enough not to accommodate the food that was ordered.

For a Japanese lunch buffet, about $40 per pax can be considered reasonable. The food is really good and the service quality provided is exceptional. The staff is friendly and always willing to listen to customers' requests.

The restaurant called me beforehand to confirm on my reservations. The service was great and the food was nice too. Just a little short in the varieties of selection.
