Overall, the food taste nice. The salmon sashimi are quite fresh. But the order came in too small portion. We had to keep re-ordering the same dish again and again. No drinks included too.

Had the 1-for-1 ala carte buffet. Great variety. Value for money. Do give Harvest Maki Roll a try if you are feeling adventurous. Interesting fusion of ingredients. Yakitori sauce was a tad too salty though.

Good value but many items were not served after 2hrs wait. Out of 4 items in a resent order, only 1 came at the end of the 3h seating. Makes you wonder if it's deliberate to forget your order. When u ask the staff they do nothing about it

Service was rather slow....need to be called several times before a waiter/waitress to clear away our plates and top up the tea. Food not bad, sashimi was fresh with a lot of varieties.

I don't understand why on earth people would feel annoyed by their service. Please do take comfort in knowing that they aren't exactly the high-end restaurant that you're looking for. They're an above average restaurant that serves tremendous dishes that caters to your every need. So for an establishment at that level, they're doing an excellent job. And that includes service. They made no fuss at the thought of item cancellation, extra drinks and they go the additional mile. Attitudes and tensions may seem a little high during service because it is packed with customers or simply because it is because they're probably overbooked on a daily basis. And if they're overbooked, it is a testament of their quality. So if you can't accept the idea of a decent outlet with a little bit of harmless chaos, you should probably take your expensive but overly thick mentalities some place else. Oh yes, don't forget to bring your high horses else where too!

Nice food and ambience! Loads of variety for the buffet and dare to order more since the portions are small (except for the edamame beans). Only downside is service a little slow. Have to be patient and definitely don't go if you're in a hurry.

Sahimi was thick and juicy! Just that it was relatively full for a weekday lunch so did spent some time waiting for the good t9 arrive as they prepare in batches.

service is slow and inconsistent. service staff is not alert as well. its also hazardous to put a 6 seater table near the entrance infront of the counter. there was hardly any plc for a stroller to move in. so if there is a fire and people needs to run... safety is an issue!

The waiting time for the food to arrive is way too long. However, salmon sashimi tasted pretty good and fresh. Overall it is just the waiting time that is the downfall.

Went there in a group of 7 pax. Food served was slightly slow. There was no details which dish we ordered was served. Ended up we stopped ordering and sitted there quite some time to ensure food was all served.

We were ushered to a section that had a table meant for 8 but partitioned to allow 4 pairs. This did make it rather uncomfortable for us. Due to the small space, clearing of plates became important but the pace was sadly not up to mark. Waiters were busy distributing food but not so efficient with clearing them. Food wise, there were portions that looked way smaller than the photo but this being a buffet, just meant that we could just order again. Not the best in quality but in terms of value for money, its worth coming back here again. Try to avoid the partitioned tables though..

Second time coming here, system still down!!! Cannot order from tablet at table. Must write down yourself and pass to waiter. What kind of service is this??? Pay service charge for what??? Write down also only all the cheap stuff come first. Very little and pathetic sashimi came out. Ordered at least 20 pieces for the group, only 5 pieces came out. Ridiculous. If you wanna do buffet style spread, make sure people can actually order food. Don't sneakily impose restrictions by saying tablet doesn't work to slow people from ordering food.

We went for the lunch buffet. Fresh thick slices of sashimi, good variety of dishes. However when the crowd started coming in, service become slow. Service staff kept forgetting to refill our drinks.

Food was very decent, and we liked the relaxing ambience. Unfortunately, we visited the day the computer systems went down. And the wait staff clearly need more training. We arrived at 6pm, were seated promptly, and placed our buffet orders shortly. We were served a delicious steamed salmon fish head on the house - loved it. The hot green tea we ordered only arrived around 6.30, after we asked and were told of the computer fault. It took the staff another 25+ minutes to start transferring orders from the iPad to paper. And so we only got our first ordered dish at 7.20. Meanwhile, we saw wait staff beckon customers into the kitchen to get their teapots refilled. Staff ran frantically to serve the customers. Some staff came out with trays of food and walked aimlessly, with no idea which tables had ordered the food. Then radio silence until I approached a wait staff at the cashier area. To be fair, I waited till other customers who arrived later got their food - clear sign of another mess up. The food came fast and furious after, but some items were missed. Dinner finally ended at 8.46 for us, when we left so hungry that the hunger pangs had subsided. The cashier waived our $4 hot green tea order, which meant we paid nearly $190 for 2 hours and 45 minutes of waiting for a buffet that left us hungry. Though the food is good, I'm not sure I'll go back.

Arrived at the restaurant and promptly shown to seat. There, we were left on our own with no explanation on the system of ordering. After 10 minutes, we still could not make an order with the system and asked for help. We were than told that the entire system is down and nobody can place any order online. So we asked if they could take orders manually, but was told that they could not. We were told to wait another 10 or 15 minutes for the system to be reset. By then, 25 minutes have passed and no tea was served, no one bordered to serve us anything.... So we left, hungry and very disappointed with the service, the manager, the restaurant. Very unprofessionally run! I would have expected an apology, tea to be served, perhaps a plate of sashimi, or even a small plate of soy beans to be served to calm the hungry guests.... But nothing, not a word until asked. VERY POOR AND UNPROFESSIONAL SERVICE!

The sashimi is super fresh and tasty. Service is pretty good and polite. The hot green tea tasted awesome with the price of $1.50 each. Very reasonable.

This is my few times I have been to Shin Minori..They serve very nice Japanese food..Great sushi and the price...Fantastic..The value is worth every penny..The services fm the staff..Great..and fast..I will definitely be going there again soon..My wife joined me and she too loved the food very much..Thanks for the booking by Quandoo too..Well done!
