Ruth's Chris Steak House Singapore

The bread, whipped butter and service were good as always but the steak was a major disappointment this time. The 12oz ribeye (medium rare) was mediocre and the Tomahawk ribeye was tough, rubbery and unevenly cooked due to its thickness. When served, the diners had steak that was anything from medium rare to well done. We were so looking forward to revisiting Ruth's Chris but this visit didn't do the restaurant any favours.

Very nice restaurant. Really liked the food and would come again. The food was fresh and well cooked. Ambience was also pleasant without being too garish.

Great crab cakes and petite filet. Other portions are just too much. Typical American portions. Petite filet was sautéed perfectly. Every mouth tasted excellent. As it was a thick piece, medium rare was too raw in the middle for me.

Made reservation, subsequently called the restaurant direct to include my toddler and requested for baby chair. Called them again on the day itself to inform that we will be late due to traffic conditions. Also mentioned to them about the baby chair and we are celebrating our wedding anniversary. The staff on the other end acknowledge my call. Arrived at the restaurant, table was not ready and they set up only upon our arrival. Food quality was good but service was slow. We arrived at 7.40pm and left at 9.20pm. We just had starter and mains, didn't even have time for dessert as we do not want to wait any longer. Overall experience was unpleasant. This will be the first and last time at the restaurant.

The steak is amazing. I also love their cheesecake! This place is quiet and classy. Definitely a place that I'll come back for steak :)

Impeccable service. Steaks & crab cakes were really good and served at the perfect temperature. Also had the creamed spinach on the side and add-on of prawns. Spinach was good but prawns were rather small and not as satisfying.

Steak is quite good, not the best for its value but above average. Other than the steak, nothing else is tempting. Overall experience a little lacking for its service.

Excellent service and impressed as server recognize us since our last visit abt 2 years ago. Very friendly and made our visitor frm the UK very pleased with all round service and food. Even came out to say goodbye when were already out after the meal hanging around to take pics. Thank you.

Excellent service & great food! Jin was very attentive and very knowledgeable. Atmosphere was beautiful and the decor very ambient for our pre-Valentines Day dinner.

RIP OFF! When I was first seated I was offered water and assuming that it would be complimentary, I accepted and was offered sparkling or still so I went for the still. Upon receiving the bill for my already over-priced meal, I discovered that my 1 litre of water was 15 dollars! Why didn't they tell me that when I was first seated? I'll tell you why, because they took one look at me and thought "yeah another dumb tourist we'll take him for everything he's got" AVOID!!!

Good quality steak and sides. Service is excellent. It is a good place for a business lunch or visit when have craving for a good steak.

Steak's a tad underdone but otherwise awesome! All 3 cuts - porterhouse, fillet, ribeye - were tender and juicy. Seafood gumbo, seared ahi tuna & chopped salad were good & dessert (cheesecake & molten lava cake) totally satisfied the sweet tooth. Totally worth the pricetag.

Best lobster bisque ever. Excellent crab cake. Much better when compared to their Taipei branch. Recommend to go through their back door to have a nice view of the Singapore skyline.

The ambience of the restaurant is good we had wonderful time there and the fillet and lamb chop we ordered was fantastic my guest enjoy the meal so much that they said will go back again.

Great steaks done well. Crab cake starter is worth going there to eat as well. Desserts match the dining experience and the service is good too.

Everything is great , just the hot plate is something that need to be caution , cause was burned by the plate , maybe if something can cover it up the surface will be great :)

Steaks were good/tasty but found the presentation with the greasy oiled plates a little off putting. Choc lava cake was cold and a little hard when brought to table as was the apple crumble. Service staff was informative and attentive. Reasonably pleasant experience.

Awesome service and the steak is wonderfully prepared. Selection of steaks is good and do try the desserts. Wish we could try all but we were too full after the steak.

Very good service and fabulous food! Romantic atmosphere great for couples! Have been TOP 5 steak house in Singapore but I recon this is The best steak in Singapore! Definitely will go back there again!

Excellent food as always, and thoughtful, attentive service. We found the portions too large and had to take them away, but would most definitelyb e back.

Great service and nicely done meat! Pretty decent for a fancy steakhouse but it's nothing mindblowing. A word of caution about the portions for its sidedishes - they are ginormous. Be careful not to make the same mistake of overordering or the heavy but delicious cheesecake wouldn't sit well in a stuffed stomach!

Was quite disappointed with th steak we had , is either too rare or never get it right. I had been there a number of time and yesterday was the worst experience , but overall the staffs is polite and friendly , is the cook problem.

As usual, the service is very good with the service staff being very attentive and knowing the food well and wines well. The cowboy ribeye we ordered was more fatty than we had expected. It was a bit tough although the meat was done medium rare. The fresh maine lobster was vey succulent and tasty. The white wine recommended to us was perfect.

excellent personalized service. Our attendant was very hospitable and friendly. Our medium rare ribeyes amd creme buree tasted supremely. The food portion was slightly too big for us.

Food was excellent. We ordered crab cake (best in class) and petite filet and the taste and quality were all great. It was pricey though. But once in a while and for celebrations, still worth the money.

This is my first time to Ruth's Chris Steak House and I am very satisfied with the food except that the portion is too big for our Asian stomach. Ambience is good and the service staff are very attentive. Will definitely recommend this place to my friends.

Food was good, service friendly, but basic fundamentals like salads should come before the mains was not even practiced. From a high end restaurant comparable to Mortons, this should not happen.

Polite and attentive service staff who know their job well. We were served primarily by Ben, a part-time staff who was aert to our needs, knows and able to recommend the menu to suit the sharing needs of our party of 4, yet not over ordering. Meets with our every requests. He is well-trained for the job. Double thumbs up to Ben.

The ambience is relaxing - both my friend and I were eating and talking way over the closing timing and the manager politely requesting us to shift our conversation outside the restaurant as they way over the closing timing. The food is fantastic except that most if not all of those we ordered are salty, especially the soup.

Menu is a little pricey, probably why place was quite empty. But otherwise nice ambience and good cut. Overall, I would recommend to steak lovers! 😀

Steaks were amazingly done and the ambience is cosy. Service was also good! For birthdays if u make a note they serve the birthday person their famous classic cheesecake

This is the second time we have eaten at this restaurant. We know that we can count on the food being excellent and the service is exceptional.

They don't have a huge selection on the menu, but don't miss the Crab Cakes, seared Ahi tuna and the U.S. lamb chops done medium. Unfortunately there was no space for any dessert for my party of 3. The service is highly informative and impeccable accompanied with an excellent environment.

Atmosphere nice. Large portions served on piping hot plates. Quality of food above average. Better steak restaurants available at the same price. Worth a try.

this place has good service, ambience and fantastic food. Went there for my wife's birthday dinner celebration, Tried the rib eye steak , crab cake and potato wedges & Will definitely come again.

Excellent service. Medium rare porter house steak was done to perfection. Filet part was soft , juicy and tender; the other ribeye part was firm and that brought out the flavour of the steak to its fullness. The macoroni cheese was absolutely delicious and the steak fries was great too! Will return again :)

Fantastic Valentine's Day dinner! My last experience at a Ruth's Chris (in the US), I was left a bit disappointed. This trip reminded me why I fell in love with Ruth's Chris in the first place. Our steaks were cooked perfectly, sides were excellent, and service was great. They even offered an alternate dessert from the set menu at our request, which really made our night. Highly recommend this location for an excellent steak.

Unbelievable Service and Steaks... Consistently the same as the one in USA, Indonesia, Hong Kong and Singapore... What more can I say..? You just have to be there...

Restaurant ambience is nice. Food is decent but presentation can be improved. Waiter just handed over the menu without making much connections or recommendations. Was expecting more for the price paid.

We ordered a 16oz USDA Prime Beef, Asparagus and Bbq Shrimp for sides. Paired with a glass of Shiraz and Moscato. It was excellent. The portion for 2 is perfect. Service was friendly, attentive but not over the top. However feel just a shade below Morton's in terms of service. Food is definitely comparable. Would recommend to anybody to try at least once.

awesome butter steak served on a hot sizzling plate. this place never disappoints and i continue to patron it. highly recommended for any one who likes their steak cook to perfection

Our food was excellent , and it was served in a timely manner. In addition, the staff were very professional serving our dinner, but they were even more friendly and enjoyable. My family had a memorable dining experience, and we will return to celebrate someday.
