Singapore’s Tanjong Pagar Road is privileged to possess a little bit of Italy away from Italy. The management of Radici, under director Nazario and general manager Daniel, are the real deal, serving genuine Italian cuisine the way Italians do. Seated between cosy red-brick walls, diners in Radici – a true neighbourhood Italian restaurant in Tanjong Pagar – can select from an array of delicious menu items from their extensive a la carte menu, as well as their Italian lunch buffet, all prepared with the utmost care.

Nestled amongst Tanjong Pagar Road’s rows of heritage shopfronts sits Radici, a genuine Italian restaurant a stone’s throw from Singapore’s central business district. While neighbourhood diners have long known about Radici’s affordable lunch buffet, Radici also cater to the serious Italian cuisine aficionado with Italian dishes that go beyond just pizza and pasta.
Radici’s sense of authenticity can be attributed to it’s owners understanding there is more to Italian cuisine than meets the eye. Their passion for recreating the exquisite flavours, ambience and camaraderie that rings true of Italian culture is what sets Radici apart from the rest. With mouthwatering and traditional dishes, inspired from the signature dishes of regions throughout Italy, Radici is determined to introduce Singapore to the best and most authentic Italian cuisine. We recommend sampling their house made cannelloni, proscuitto and fungi pizza or the sensational ossobuco, and the award winning tiramisu is not to be missed! There’s no doubt that Singapore’s picturesque district of Tanjong Pagar is lucky to be able to call Radici its own.
Cena davvero ottima. Servizio e camerieri veloci e cordiali; ho preso la pizza e mi sono ritrovata il Italia. Ve lo consiglio soprattutto di sera.
Best pizza in Singapore ...and I'm Italian ;) Zuppa di pesce a awesome. Probably the only casual dinner Italian place in Singapore at very reasonable price. It's like a trattoria back home.
the atmosphere of the restaurant is decent and nice. The food is great. The service is excellent. A great place for friends gathering to enjoy food and wines.
Went there for a birthday celebration and both of us enjoyed it! Good food and nice ambience. Would definitely go back again to try on other food!
Funny enough, the last time I was here was also for a 1-for-1 deal, but I never got down to writing about it. This time, the pastas were a bit more memorable, but I'm not sure if I'd pay full price for them. Which is why I'm thankful they are a Burpple Beyond partner - I essentially got half off my pasta because I got to redeem a free pasta! Not sure how packed this place gets on weekdays, but during lunch time on a Saturday, I was the only table dining from start to end of lunch hour. Great if you need a quiet space to catch up with a friend. They're closed on Sunday btw - not surprising, as they are located in Tanjong Pagar. The pasta in both dishes was done al dente, & I was quite happy as I chomped down on my carbs. The Fettuccine al - Granchio ($22++) was tossed in a sauce that was a good mix of tomato, light cream & brandy. The crab meat was also fresh & substantial. That black lump in the background is Tagliolini al Nero Di Seppia ($22++); I'm sorry, there aren't many ways to make squid ink pasta look great. It tasted like how squid ink pasta should, & there were enough squids to keep me happy. But if I had to choose, the other pasta I tried would be my favourite. 💳 Accepts credit cards 🌬 Indoor seats only (but not air-conditioned. Was a little stuffy when I arrived because the fans weren't on - they did turn it on immediately when I sat down though) 🖥 Accepts reservations - I used Quandoo 🙋🏻♀️ Service Charge is chargeable 🚫 GST is chargeable 💦 Water is not chargeable
My husband and I had a lovely time at Capricci on Wednesday 3 June which was the day we celebrated our 30th Wedding Anniversary. The buffet lunch was simple yet satisfying. My husband loved the Cream of Tomato soup, we both loved the Pasta with Zucchini and I loved the Goulash (although I do not normally eat pork). The chef was very pleasant as well as the wait staff. Pizzas were fresh, pretty basic yet tasty. The ambiance reminded us of a simple afternoon lunch in Italy, which we have missed since our visit in September. At $30 for two, you cannot find any better.
We went for dinner on a Thursday night and apart from 1 large table, we were the only other people in the restaurant. We were told this was normal. Typically Tanjong Pagar is a business area so I guess people don't stay around for dinner. We had entree and main course and I have to say the food was lovely. We were brought some delicious rosemary and salted bread to start with which was delicious. So whilst the food was great, not overly expensive, we had a bottle of wine which was expensive and just ok. The service was good, how could it not be with so few people in the restaurant. The problem was there was no atmosphere. With so few people in the restaurant, it was quiet and the food was good but not "knock your socks off" so unfortunately not enough for it to be my "go to" Italian restaurant.
My friends and I shared 2 appetizers, a pizza and a steak. We love the food - Bruschetta Al Pomodoro, Frittura di Calamari, Filetto di Manzo (Beef Tenderloin) and Parma E Rucola. The appetizers and the pizza came rather quickly as we were the first diners. The beef tenderloin took awhile to arrive but it was good. The beef was very tender. We also like the Prosecco - the sparkling white wine was very nice. We like the friendly staff and cozy atmosphere. We will definitely go back again !
Good food and usual Friday night pub scene outside so quite noisy. For starters - CARPACCIO de MANZO - Sliced beef tenderloin with shaved Parmesan cheese and lemon dressing and the FRITTURA MISTA - Deep fried mixed Seafood. For mains, we had the FETUCINI ALLE CAPESENTE - Fettucine pasta with scallops and prawns in light tomato sauce and the TAGLIATA di MANZO (300 gram) - Grilled and sliced rib eye served topped with rocket salad and shaved Parmesan cheese served with grilled vegetables. And for dessert, we had the TIRAMISU’ DELLA CASA. Food was delicious and enjoyable but service was slow. Hope it will improve the next time we come back!
I was pleasantly surprised by this quaint little Italian restaurant in the middle of tanjong pagar. The ambience was just right to take me away from the hustle and bustle of every day life. The food was one of the best pastas I ever had! In fact it was probably the best so far. The customer service excellent. I was served by a very courteous and friendly staff. A rare find these days.
