Established in the UK all the way back in 1965, PizzaExpress has since grown into one of the world’s most popular pizza chains, with restaurants scattered all across the globe, and over in Orchard you can grab a slice of the action at PizzaExpress’ first Singapore branch, located inside Scotts Square shopping centre. The food was really delicious. We ordered the carbonara pizza and it's amazing. The lobster and crabmeat Ravoli is so delicious, I would go back for that! service was really good, the service crew would ask us whether our food was good. I enjoyed my time in pizza express. missed it so much when I was in London.

Service was good and prompt. The lobster and crab meat ravioli was simply awesome - must order. The signature dough balls were not impressive though.

Service, service, service.... I appreciate that the ordering process is automated but when it takes the waitress 10 minutes to place your order because she can not easily find the menu items, something is not right. One main came out 15 minutes before the other mains. Upon asking for dessert menu, we were handed one (1) menu for a table of four?! We asked for our leftover pizza to be placed in a takeaway box and were greeted with a small white cardboard box with our pizza slices stacked one on top of the other (so single slice pizza size box with 6 slices crammed in) and tomato sauce stains all over the box (obviously whoever did the transfer had greasy hands!). Very unappetising in every way. As to food, very average flavour and taste. Nothing to pull me back in and say, we must go to Pizza Express. Sadly not like our Pizza Express experiences in London.

1. Made reservation on Quandoo - Easy and Smooth 2. Called restaurant 2 hours before reservation to change the time and no of pax - Easy and Smooth 3. Got an amazing corner sofa table, big and comfortable enough 4. Quick service, smiling staff and bustling restaurant 5. But the BEST Part? The food! Yes the menu is not that big, but just right (ok maybe they could add more items in) 6. MUST TRY - American Hottie and Calabrese Pizzas, Frutti Da Mare Pasta, Dough Balls, AntiPasto platter 7. One Boo Boo - Found a strand of Hair stretched across the antipasto platter. Complained to server, got an immediate apology and waiver of Antipasto payment from the menu 8. Overall experience - GREAT! 9. Price per pax including non-alcoholic Drinks and 3 Desserts: $35-$40 per pax Will visit again, multiple times! But am worried that soon I would've tried all the options on the menu!

We (my family and I) love Pizza Express, it was one of our favourite places to eat in the UK and was very happy to see a branch open in SG. The pizzas were just as good as expected, the dough balls was delicious with extra dippings that we didn't get in UK. The service was very good and efficient, something we don't often experience in SG. Finally our meals arrived together!!! In most places our meals would be delivered at different times, meanings one person could have nearly finished their meal before the other person's meal arrived. Not quite eating together when 4 meals are staggered. However at Pizza Express, we got to eat TOGETHER :-) . The only reason I didn't give the last star was because there was some missing choices in the menu.

We had a wonderful evening at Pizza Express. Great place, awesome food, very very helpful staff and we would like to go there more often. It's on one of our favorite restaurant list! Today was my daughters 10th birthday and I had asked the staff to arrange for a cake and light 10 candles and sing for her as they bring in the cake and they so happily agreed to my request. Made our daughters day so special and memorable. Thank you Pizza Express and Charlene (staff who took my request on the phone). We love your place!

Staff was very helpful though they were busy - our reservation had been logged as being in the evening instead of for lunch. They gave us a table though and quite swiftly too. The pizzas were lovely, service was prompt and friendly. Their kids menu is very nice and they were willing to swap the drink out of the kids menu for another on the regular one at the same price - without us asking for it. I really appreciated that!

If you're wondering whether the dough balls are up to par with the outlets in London, fret not - the dough balls are AMAY-ZING. The menu doesn't feel as extensive as the one in the UK, but nevertheless the pizzas are flavourful and they have American Hot. Service was pretty attentive other than being slightly slow with bringing the kids' menu desserts for the kiddies. Don't hesitate, go go go!
