Here along Tanjong Pagar’s Neil Road, among the many options for eating, drinking and entertainment, you can find a shrine dedicated to this fragrant, mentholated plant – Peppermint Park, a bar and restaurant that’s home to the famous Blue Spin, Singapore’s most famous – and dangerous – cocktail after the venerable Singapore Sling. Here at Peppermint Park the emphasis is on small plates and Italian pizza, with our recommendation being the Peppermint Par platter, loaded with seaweed chicken, chicken meatballs, crispy chicken bites, and hot and spicy chicken drumlets. It isn’t all chicken here, though, with the chef recommending his bruschetta and meat lovers pizza.
