Starting out okay until the waitress cleaned up our table and thought we already finished when we were only finished our starters. I also had to ask the staff for bill twice because after the first request the staff acknowledge it but never deliver. 👎
The food tasted good but the portions were quite small. The plating of the desserts was impressive. The aircon was too cold and it gave us headaches.
The food was really tasty but the service was not so good. We were in the private seating area and the servers didn't check on us so it was hard to get their attention. Also, one of the servers split beer on a member of our party but only offered napkins as an apology.
Clean and quiet environment. Execellent Service Staff with attention to details. Fantastic Food with long list of choice. This was our second visit within two months.!
The food and ambient is nice. Friendly staff make us feel like really having our meal in Thailand. Reservation website is user friendly very easy to excess and fast.
Good Quality of food, The papaya Salad is perfect. Good Service. Good atmosphere as it is quiet and good table arrangement. A little bit expensive.
Good food, great service, wonderful ambience! Set lunch is great with a good selection of choices. Our guests enjoyed the food! Would definitely go again!
Seriously the food isn't that fantastic for the price we have paid. This restaurant is really expensive in my opinion. Only four service staff for the whole restaurant that night but we can see that they are trying their best.
Never fail to disappoint. The soft shell crab with mango salad is very tasty. The dessert platter is expensive and under whelming. The pandan chicken is decent
One of my fav restaurant. Nice ambience, good food. Thumbs up! Staff is courteous and smiling. Definitely will go there again. Thank you for the nice experience!
Patara never fails to please. Our request for a window seat was readily acceded to. Service was efficient and unobtrusive. The decor is tasteful. The food was presented attractively and was delicious. It's a little pricey but it is a fine dining restaurant.
Pretty nice ambience. Quite an extensive menu of a variety of Thai dishes. Food was reasonable.
Taste of food was sofisticated and well-balanced. We really enjoyed it. (If you really love spicy foods, you may as well ask them to make the taste spicier.) Servers in this restaurant were personable and solicitous. Though we were in a private dining room (without extra charges), they served dishes, plates for sharing and drinks timely except once that I needed to ask them to pour our guest more wine once. In addtion, they gave us recommendation of menu and promotion suitable for us. I personally feel that this restaurant is one of the top-notch Thai cuisine restaurants in Singapore, even though it's not located in a convenient area and we need to use rest rooms in the common area of Tanglin mall.
As always, the food quality at Patara was good, as was the service. Good choice for fine Thai food. Will be back again, for sure.
The food was simply Aroy (delicious). Pity there was no sticky rice mango but the alternative dessert (4 different sweets in iced coconut milk) was just as good. Service was excellent. Kudos to the sweet Thai speaking manageress/captain. My guest and I agree Patara deserves a repeat visit.
Food is delicious but pricey. Go if you are prepared to spend about $80 (with +++) per pax for full course meal. Or choose the set
The quality of food at Patara Fine Thai Cuisine was good. Everyone enjoys the food. The service staff was good and friendly. I will come back again. Thanks!
Nice environment and quiet place for talks or romantic dinner. Food selection mix or authentic and other. Service is a bit slow but good. A bit pricey.
Pineapple rice is lumpy and lost the fluff and fragrance, it is disappointing. Portions of dishes are rather small. Overall the taste of dishes have dropped.
Food was excellent especially the starters. Coconut ice cream was great too. Recommended for anyone looking for good quality Thai food and not overly budget conscious.
I am really impressed with the taste of the food served in this restaurant, so much so that I am a regular customer now. Great job!
Second time here for lunch. The dishes are great. Will surely come back again . The restaurant ambience great too. A great variety of choice
Friday night, 7.45 pm. 2 people. Stand at the entrance but be prepared to wait a fair bit to be greeted. No worries. Then a not happy waitress will bring you to your table. All along unfriendly. Maybe she is feeling too stressed. Ordered 2 glasses of the house red, wine sour+corked. Changed promptly by other waitress. No worries. Starter served cold except deep fried prawns, hot and delicious. Ordered extra glass of house red, corked again. Cancelled order. No worries. Main course: duck curry super delicious. Chicken prawn stir fry tasteless. Bill please. Certainly no dessert. No need for extra disappointment. Total of bill $140 sgd for 2 people, for what was meant to be a relaxed and simple dinner. But was not. Compulsory service charge of close to $12 sgd means some staff can treat you the way they feel. It is a business transaction guys nothing else: I order, relax, eat, maybe enjoy and then I go. End of story. I am not in your restaurant for another purpose. If you want to offer good food and a good dining experience, improve your staff. Btw we went for a cocktail afterwards and we did enjoy it. Take care.
Food was excellent. Was hoping there was a buffet on a Friday evening but they only had aka carte. Service was above satisfactory. A good place for family dinners.
The restaurant decor is fabulous. The food are very good. They are really delicious. There is a lot of food variety that it become difficult to make our choice
Nice real and professional authentic Thai food, different from usual singapore like Thai cuisine. Spacious and good mood, quiet , high quality service. Signatures are strongly recommended.
The place had Good ambience and the staff were generally friendly. It was a good dining experience but the food portions were small. Food came very quickly too.
Excellent food and also a wide varieties of dishes at reasonable cost especially for al-carte buffet during lunch time during weekend at S$48++. I would rather suggest such exciting facilities should be extended even for dinner.
Service was excellent, nice ambient, food is great. Slightly expensive but was worth every cent. Highly recommended to thai food lover, especially the tom yum soup.
Service did not meet our expectation. Felt like self serice .... Looooooong wait to order, food, bill. No cuttlery with the dishes served... Went to get cuttlery from the counter. Wine refill by ourselves. As a frequent guest this visit did not meet our expectation in service provided. Food was good though!!!
Good atmosphere. Sofa seat for 2 is really full of prvate mood. Matsaman curry is signature but, most of fare is itmressive and tasty. It's worth visting again.
Ambience was lovely, staff friendly, food nice! The facebook promotion $50 off (with min spending $120) was a REALLY GOOD PROMOTION and will be welcome to have it again maybe in Aug again (Singapore's National Day month celebration!
Top Thai food, good quality and service . Have been for a few years and always a good meal. My children also loves the Tim Krub dessert.
Quality food.. Fresh ingredients used. We had Phad Thai and steamed fish with lemon and chili garlic sauce. Smiling staff. I will certainly visit the place again.
The food was excellent.Menu was extensive and unique.Service is excellent.
Been here many times over the years. Great food as always. I recommend the fried grouper, pandan leaf chicken and duck curry. On my last visit, we came with a party of eight and everyone was really satisfied with the meal. Will be back for sure!
Food was excellent. Service was a tad tardy though especially when the restaurant is not even half full. Staff could have gone the extra mile by asking if I'd like to pay by Amex card to enjoy discount for Ala Carte dishes.
Patara provides quality authentic thai food. Especially enjoyed the desserts such as durian cake, tapioca with coconut and mango sticky rice. Good service and ambience
Good food and service, but serving quantities for the vegetable and curry were small. Fish was really good though, and I got charged 8 bucks for iced water. Nice.
The food and ambience were good but it would have been better if the waitress had also given the set lunch menu instead of only the ala carte. We weren't even aware that they have set lunches. Would have saved us the hassle of trying to figure out what to order. Otherwise, no complaints. Food was excellent.
It was ok. Not bad not excellent good service and delicious food However some dishes were very sweet specially green curry Overall I don't love to pay the amount of money this time we got promotion
Food was good. But service was luke warm. Staff wasn't pro-active in service eg, recommendation for food and wine. Wasn't serving with friendliness, makes you feel unwelcomed.
Delicious! The grilled pork collar appetizer in the lunch set was our favorite! Generous portions and lovely ambiance. I found the Tom yum soup a but spicy and heavy on the msg for my taste, but everything else was very tasty. Good value in the lunch sets
It feels like this restaurant aspires to be the best Thai in Singapore. The prices and the ambiance tell that story; however, the service and food fall short. Now, both are quite good. It is just that they don't rise to the level of a great restaurant. The service issue was mostly related to the timing of the food presentation. We both ordered soup but they were brought out at different time. Then, the main course was brought out shortly after the appetizers. I don't think they were intending to rush us; just that they didn't plan the timing. My Thai girl friend said that some of the food was ok but lacked the usual spices for authenticity. The soups were quite good; however, the lobster in green sauce should have had more flavor and spice. I recommend this restaurant if you want to spend the money on a romantic evening. If you just want high quality, authentic Thai food, the Golden Mile Complex will serve that need.
WE had a great meal, the waitress was very friendly and helpful. The food was excellent, especially the Bake Durian Cake for desert. Will recommend to all our friends. Thank you all for making this a wonderful night Louis Fillis
Fantastic service with outstanding Thai food... Ambience was good as well, good for an almost private lunch /dinner outing for couples. Will definitely go back again!
Good food and service, but rather overpriced. Food is not good enough to justify those prices. Will recommend that diners try it at least once, but there are other more value Thai options out there.
Prompt Service except there was no one at entrance of restaurant and we had to look for them when we arrived. Otherwise, food was ok
Food wise, the flavors are good and the dishes wonderfully prepared. The 2 negatives are the limited choices on the menu which did not seem to have been refreshed or renewed in the offerings, and the service is not that up to mark. We had tomask for water and the service staff seem to be busy elsewhere when the restaurant is so sparse with people!
Staffs there were all very polite and pleasant and were all very helpful. Food presentation was nice, but taste wise quite average. Good overall experience.
