Korean barbecue restaurant are known all over Singapore, as are Korean fried chicken joints and plenty of other places to get bibimbap, kimchi and the like. What is harder to find, however, are Korean dessert cafes, but in Thomson, there is one place doing something to change that. NunSongYee Korean Bingsu Cafe on Upper Thomson Road brings the best in desserts to the area around Marymount MTR station, with a menu packed with sweet treats for the whole family to enjoy. That means bingsu dishes done with chocolate, cheesecake and oreos alongside the tradition pat (shaved red bean paste); toast dishes with cinnamon, garlic and cheese, honey butter and more, as well as Korean-style spicy rice cakes. Take yourself over to Upper Thomson Road in the north of Singapore for a taste of Korea, sweet and sugar style. Book a table now.
Bingsoo is always good! The milky snowflakes went so well with the fragrant and chewy injeolmi (: Special mention goes to the garlic cheese injeolmi toast as well!!
Yummy bingsoo as usual and toast was great as well! Slightly pricey but a nice treat once in a while (: Will be back! Yay!
this place sells my fav bingsu! ice is so smooth!
Korean cuisine is my favourite and bingsoo was no exception!! The texture of the ice was great and the flavours were good (: Would definitely return!
been to NunSongYee multiple times, but first time at the Thomson branch. the place is situated near a bus stop, easily accessible via public transport. however, if you are driving, it might require some time to find a parking lot. the place is very spacious, suitable for friends to sit around for a short chit-chat/ catch up.
Its a good place to chill for late night and you can make a reservation 30 mins before to skip the queue. The dessert portion is sufficient and taste good! really generous with the mango too!
It is a very food place to chill with family friends brother and sister. Good desserts available. shave ice ie thin and the mango is fresh and sweet. highly recommended place to come by.
The restaurant said that there was no online booking system? But we managed to get a table anyway. The food was good, we had the injeolmi toast and grape bingsu!
Was there for bingsu with a friend. Serving was large enough for both to share. Quite good in would say as it is not too sweet
