A very nice traditional ambience. Food we like were the noodles, the salted duck and the little crayfish (quite expensive though).

I just recently returned from Nanjing, and came here for a birthday dinner. The food was good, we especially enjoyed the roast duck (1/4 duck was still a lot of duck for 2 persons!). The steamed fish was expensive but really delicious - not many bones and steamed flat so it was really easy to eat. If you do not like pork (like my friend), make sure to ask what was used to cook the noodle broth, and some noodles had a strong pork taste even without pork in it. The beef vermicelli stew was particularly tasty (esp the broth!). We didn't get a chance to try the dumplings but will do so the next time!

Always good food at Nanjing Impressions, though certain dishes might be a bit hit or miss... A bit sad that the ShopBack discount has a pretty high minimum spend, which I guess I just never noticed before. Overall still pretty good for some dishes.

The restaurant has a great ambiance, and I really like the traditional Chinese decor. The Baby Rooster Stew was delicious, and the sesame buns were crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. Madam Chiang's Nutritious Beauty Porridge, made with soy milk, was unique and tasty. Soy milk lovers must try it.

It is great to dine with friends and my mother, whereby we can order & tried more dishes last evening. Yummy food and nice gathering, so everyone is happy. However, it will be a better option to travel by MRT to Dhoby Ghaut instead of riding bus due to heavy traffic on Thaipusm day.

Our favorite dishes include beancurd in mala sauce, braised pork shank, Nanjing noodles, salted duck, sautéed silky gourd, brown sugar rice cake, and more—all of which we never get tired of enjoying!

Ordered the roast duck dumplings and Nanjing noodles, both are really good.

My family said this place looks atas but expensive for a dinner.

Restaurant don't serve white rice. Reason told was a very big group of customer came and the rice was all sold. That was before last order. Hence, we have to eat noodles. Can't accept a Chinese restaurant that don't serve rice.

First time trying this restaurant. Portions are nice but are too strong tasting for us.

It was a pleasant surprise as we have not tried most of the dishes before. However food from nanjing are more oily. Hence it is interesting to try but I will not want to eat too much of it. We were earlier than appointment time which they could not find our reservation but we were allowed entry so it was good.

Will go again and bring more friends. Food is authentic Nanjing

Few items we ordered were a bit salty. Didn't like the steamed duck. Very salty, tough and gamey.

Service is good. price is reasonable. Only that the hard and no back support stools are not suitable for older persons.

Service was very good. Salted duck, Mdm Soon Porridge were our favorites. The braised pork trotters was a disappointment as they were mostly bones. Very little edible meat.

They could have given me a bigger table, they did not. Yet there were so many empty bigger tables around. My dining at 1:45pm. So it tells the story itself.
