Begin your meal with some sashimi of hokkaido scallop or the bibimbap with octopus, kimchi and Korean seaweed, before moving on to some seabass with mushroom, dashi and Jerusalem artichoke or beef short ribs with potato puree, brussel sprouts and garbi. Then, finish off with the silver pearl (pear with white chocolate and pepper). We had a great experience at Meta, with delightful creations which were well-presented and of course tasted wonderful. It was an intimate and pleasant dining place.
Wow! What a great restaurant. Beautiful dishes with seasonal products expertly prepared by an array of chefs and sous-chefs. Sit at the bar, you will not be disappointed! Wonderful French/Asian fusion. Great eve out!

Possibly a worthy contender of Cure, the food was very honest and well put together. Some of the food had Korean inspiration to it, like Doenjang with lamb loin, which work pretty well together. The open kitchen was really enticing to watch as the chef swift by to whip up delicious plates. Would highly recommend to come and try. Had the 5-course dinner set ($98), and I would recommend to order the supplement Sweden oysters at $9 when it's available on the menu. The cured Japanese Mackerel with Rhubarb and citrus soy was probably another stand out dish for me. The service however, needs some tightening, but will not be too critical on it, because it can be tough running a restaurant, helming the kitchen, etc on a fullhouse day.
The food at Meta was very good. Some dishes were a little adventurous and had too many Flavours going on (the dessert was a bit too much for our palates!) but by and large it was very impressive. The setting was casual but intimate and the service was attentive. For a fine dining degustation menu it was quite well priced. The staff went above and beyond to meet our time restriction too which was greatly appreciated and no mean feat given it was 6 courses!
The food and service were excellent. This was my second time to Meta and the imagination and freshness in their creations have always been at the highest level. It was also nice sitting at the counter watching the chefs fuss over their cooking.
Food was very good. We had the wine pairing and it was a good selection! The only issue is that the food portion was abit small, ie we ordered additional food to fill us up. Overall it was a good experience!
The foods presentation were good, unfortunately the quality of the them were just so so. Some pre meal appetizers were either too salty or too sweet. We ordered beef cheek as our main course and it was a letdown. The blood dripped out when we cut open the lurk warm steak
Reasonable price for the quality and the amuse boche were a nice surprise and delight. The service was unobtrusive. Ambience and setting was nice. Will come again.
We had the 10 course degustation menu. Service was great, all the staff were observant and quick to respond. Food was very creative, flavours were nice.
