This restaurant aims to make traditional dishes shine and indeed allows Singaporeans to see what the Middle Eastern kitchen is all about. The menu at Levant is massive and features a Grill section as well as Stews and even Tapas. Some Chef recommendations include the Reyash (grilled lamb chops marinated with lemon juice, onions and saffron), the Mixed Appetizer Platter including hummus, moutabal, taboula and salad, and stew dishes like the Ghormeh Sabzi (slow-cooked stew with mixed vegetables and herbs). For those with a sweet tooth, Leviant on Greenwood Avenue serves exotic sweet specialties like Saffron Ice Cream and a Cake of the Week. The restaurant offers something for everyone and even has a kid’s menu.
