The staff are not accomodating. Place is ok but food not so
The food was delicious. Staff are sweet/kind but slightly inexperienced.
The ambiance of the restaurant is nice, with cozy lighting. Food is great as usual.
The vibe is amazing and the food is good! Would definitely recommend to others for the food.
It was Great experience - Amazing food and good service.
Delicious Filipino Woodfired cuisines with excellent hospitality. Will visit again.
Fusion Filipino Food Restaurant, food taste is good and price reasonable. Ambience is good as restaurant facing riverside
Food was great. Service was great too. We want more options for dessert.
Very interesting Filippino dishes. The party next to us is a bit loud after a few rounds but then it's also a casual setting so i guess it's okay. Excellent service definitely repurchasable.
Great service! Food was decent with some hits and misses
Food was great and dishes came out quickly. Unfortunately service was lacking.
Food tasted incredible, service staff was very attentive and helpful. I had a great experience and would recommend!
Really enjoyed the food and hospitality, staff are all very friendly although we are siting outdoor a bit hot but still enjoying the place a lot
Food was very good, service was excellent as well, though side comment was that a few of the Filipino dish names was not the traditional Filipino food but some other fusion take that was quite delicious as well. Would come back again
Service was good but the fish was served undercooked and the place is perpetually hot.
Cozy place for family gathering. definitely recommended. Require reservation in advance
Great weekend lunch at Kubo. The food tasted good and nicely presented. Staff were attentive, friendly and approachable.
Fairly extensive menu and decent food at a good price point. Good to have lots of small dishes for sharing. Recommended
Service is good and food is great for our birthday celebration
The place is cosy and services is very good. Brussels spouts is a must try
staffs were welcoming, food was delightful. good for group gathering
unique food u can't find any where else, good value. service can be better, limited dining time sucks
it was a pleasant experience overall! went on a sun afternoon and was less crowded than expected, waiting times for food was quite fast too and taste was really good, portions were alright for two people although we had a good breakfast prior, not sure if we’ll feel the same if we went on an empty stomach. staff was lovely too with great recommendations for our first time. would recommend and go back again!
Food is good but tending on the pricier side. Service was good as well. Suitable for dates and business dinners.
Food was exotic and good! First time trying filipino food and it didn't disappoint. Great location and atmosphere.
Great place to celebrate birthdays and special occasions with family and friends!
Great food and nice ambience! Will definitely come back again to try the rest of the menu
We loved it! I took my best friend (who didn't have any good encounters with Filipino cuisine previously) for my birthday dinner without telling him what cuisine we were having... I was surprised when he commented, "Beautiful!" after every bite! He couldn't believe the big reveal that it's actually Pinoy food. The "waiting time" in terms of food served to us can be improved, but our waiter's service was excellent and he really had a passion for his job - I think his name was Ashkit. He's terrific! In fact, the entire team at Kubo really put their heart into what they do - and we saw it as we dined counter-side facing the open kitchen. We will definitely be back!
Had a fantastic time at Kubo. Food was great, atmosphere was lively. They have an open kitchen where watching the staff do their thing adds to the atmosphere. Wait staff was attentive and professional, and the GM Catalin was spot on with his food recommendations. All in all a wonderful experience.
Not your usual filipino food but it was good nonetheless. Cozy ambiance, location quite a bit difficult to find but just follow google map and you will find it.
Awesome wood fired modern Filipino cuisine. The ambiance, lighting and interior is tropical chic. Attentive service from both the kitchen and wait staffs.
Sitting in front of the open kitchen was such an experience as we had a firsthand view of how our food was prepared and how Chef Kurt commanded his team. Food was also delicious and of a high standard. Kudos to the Kubo team!
Interesting food, not usual ordinary food. aged duck dish with crispy was indeed memorable
great service and delicious food, the duck was done perfectly. the open concept of the restaurant meant that there were a couple of flies around, which was the only downside to our visit
The flavours of the dishes ordered were a little too strong, either too sour or too salty or too sweet. Two service staff kept asking if “everything’s alright” too frequently, appreciate it at first, but overall was abit put off by that.
I love their modern take of Filipino food. They are appetizing to the eyes and the taste is fasinating. I love the halo-halo! We will definitely come back next time!
Really enjoyed the food there! Modern take on a traditional cuisine
the food was not what I had expected. but it was at robertson quay, so ok.
Love the food there.. hence I'm visiting it again. Cheers
First time having Filipino food & it was good! I’m definitely coming back soon to try more dishes.
