A quiet place for dinner on a weekday night (Wednesday). Decent food but not a place I would purposely travel to for food. We tried the highly popular onsen wanyu beef bowl.
Was a last minute decision & Fortunately made a reservation through Quandoo as it was Friday evening & there was quite a que when we arrived. Service was prompt and we were satisfied with our meal.
Great place, nice food and attentive service. However, i think the sashimi in the Chirashi bowl has fishy smell. Other than that, the experience was excellent.
Delicious food. Although the location is a bit out of the way. Had their signature wagyu don. Delicious. Great tasting. Price wise not too expensive.
The price point is relatively high but Kinsa serves high quality japanese food in a nice, quiet setting. Perfect for an after-work hangout or casual get togethers.
Good sushi with large portion of meat/seafood. I would return to have another meal. Pricing is slightly on the high side but it's relatively worth it.
Had starters and maki rolls which were tasty. Prices are very reasonable - $40+ for 2 pax. Service was prompt though not the friendliest of all. Food took a little long to serve probably cos it was full house on a eve of PH.
There was good service provided by the staff and the price of dishes were reasonable. For 4 pax, it added up to $150. The food was also better than average.
The food at the restaurant was decent, and generally found it to be good value. We had went there for lunch and ordered from their a la carte menu
The service was great, food was super tasty as well, I loved it there! I will definitely bring my friends/family there in future! I'm sure they will love it as much as i do!
Attentive staff with good food. Prices was affordable and quantity was good. Bento set lunches are really worth the price. Would definitely go back for other dishes next time.
food, ambience and serice is prompt good. cold soba was below expectation -maybe the type of noodle used was different from usual cold soba we used to eat...
Restaurant did not receive my booking and apparently they did not receive notification from the quandoo booking site also thus did not receive the booking. Requested for baby chair also but as they did not receive the booking they did not get it ready. The baby chair given also could not fit the table and worst still the clasp was broken, hence unsafe for baby. Food wise wasn't too bad.
Overall was pleasant. However waitress was very eager to clean your plates. Not able to sit around for too long. Ambience was alright. I like the salmon aburi and Wagyu beef bowl rice.
adequate Menu Good selection of seafood and good choices of meat dishes Very nice presentation Overall A bit expensive but good food and good service
Food was really good, but there was a lunch crowd so the wait was longer than usual. Think they a pretty under staffed. Food was good! Will be bk for the rolls!
Ventilation in the restaurant was bad and the staff were slow and unresponsive in their service. Food was quite decent but pricey. Will not come back again.
Overall food taste normal. Just that the Teriyaki Gindara(grilled cos fish) doesn't taste quite like the usual cod fish. The fried choc ice cream totally cannot make it. Salmon sashimi is nearly red in color but taste good. Customer service still acceptable, quite responsive to request but not sensitive enough to see customers who are trying to get assistance.
there were hits and misses. but the WAGYU don is really satisfying. some of the sashimi was fresh as well but a pity the uni and snow crabs weren't as exciting. overall a good place which serves value for money dishes
Staffs were attentive, food was good. Loved their wagyu don and salmon belly!
Had previously ate Kinsa @ Ang Mo Kio. Services and choices of food are much better. Beef dishes are very limited. No more "whole fish" dishes available? At least the staff didn't recommend.
Ordered a wagyu don. Taste as good as it looks from the pictures. Service was prompt and the staffs who served us were polite. OVerall good experience
Service was decent, food was great and price is reasonable. However waitress didn't know that a reservation was made and had to wait for a table.
It was not bad, price was reasonable and the food was good too. Good for a casual meal with family or friends. The wagyu beef was great!
Good food. The wagyu don was great. The prices are reasonable. Will come back The restaurant need better ventilation. I smell like aburi after the meal.
Things have become more expensive from a month ago. The beef rice is no longer as tasty as before. There were also a number of new staff on training so service was not too good. Given the price increase, will think twice to eat there again.
Great staff and reasonable pricing. Family dinner visit with a ten month old. High chair provided upon request as well. Dinner service was quick amidst a full dinner crowd.
Good overall dining experience. Good food and environment. Not too noisy. Service was friendly and prompt. This is a restaurant that I will certainly return again.
Very good service and friendly staff. The food is amazing. Definitely going back!
Affordable and generous Bara Chirashi Don set + a drink at less than $20 after GST and service charge.
Food was great and service was excellent. Value for $$ as we paid $110 for 5 persons, much better than Sakae or Ichiban. Hope you can start a branch in AMK in the near future.
The staffs there is friendly and the service is good. Food there are fresh too. Will go again for 2nd time with my families or friends :)
Enjoy the wagyu don, I will be back again.. Muz try!!
great food and ambience! recommended for its waygu don as well
