We ordered the Wagyu don for my child as usual. The portion seemed to be smaller considerably.

love the freshness of the food. i would also like to feedback that the " sashimi poke bowl" is a little bit salty due to the flakes. the rest are fine.

It seemed that the restaurant was not aware of the reservation, in the end our table was set om the spot, it was a bir of a squeeze but it was not too bad. Food was satisfying, everyone enjoyed what they had for lunch.

The tonkatsu I ordered this time round was abit tough as compared to previous visit. the service & other other food ordered was good, as usual.

Despite being very crowded, service was rather pleasant. However, food could be better. Great job nonetheless. Would be back next time when it is less crowded though.

2nd visit within a week. Consistently good quality food with affordable pricing. Average spending $50++ per pax as we went for the premium Wagyu and other delectable food. Having resided in Tokyo, the only missing feature was the greetings upon arrival and departure. If they can work on this aspect, the experience will be more fulfilling.

Service was good but for the food pricing is not worth it at all. I can easily get better quality jap food at bigger serving for the same price elsewhere. the seafood salad was definitely not worth it at all. only a few miserable frozen textured sashimi.

The sushi is so good! WIll definitely go back for more! However, it's a bit pricey as compared to other sushi restaurants. Didn't get to try different types of sushi.

Was recommended by a friend to this restaurant tucked next to Hillview MRT. Fortunately I made a reservation as it was full house on a Friday evening. My partner and I ordered the brown rice mentai sushi and wagyu don, and were swept away. The wagyu was seared to perfection. Overall happy with the food, was fairly value for money:)

A quiet place for dinner on a weekday night (Wednesday). Decent food but not a place I would purposely travel to for food. We tried the highly popular onsen wanyu beef bowl.

Was a last minute decision & Fortunately made a reservation through Quandoo as it was Friday evening & there was quite a que when we arrived. Service was prompt and we were satisfied with our meal.

Great place, nice food and attentive service. However, i think the sashimi in the Chirashi bowl has fishy smell. Other than that, the experience was excellent.

There was good service provided by the staff and the price of dishes were reasonable. For 4 pax, it added up to $150. The food was also better than average.

The food at the restaurant was decent, and generally found it to be good value. We had went there for lunch and ordered from their a la carte menu

Restaurant did not receive my booking and apparently they did not receive notification from the quandoo booking site also thus did not receive the booking. Requested for baby chair also but as they did not receive the booking they did not get it ready. The baby chair given also could not fit the table and worst still the clasp was broken, hence unsafe for baby. Food wise wasn't too bad.

Attentive staff with good food. Prices was affordable and quantity was good. Bento set lunches are really worth the price. Would definitely go back for other dishes next time.

Overall was pleasant. However waitress was very eager to clean your plates. Not able to sit around for too long. Ambience was alright. I like the salmon aburi and Wagyu beef bowl rice.

Had previously ate Kinsa @ Ang Mo Kio. Services and choices of food are much better. Beef dishes are very limited. No more "whole fish" dishes available? At least the staff didn't recommend.
