The menu at Singapore’s Kinsa Sushi – at HillV2 in Singapore’s Bukit Batok – is lengthy with a large variety of sushi, sashimi, warm dishes and even dessert. All of the sushi on offer is fantastic – the reversed rolls like the soft shell crab maki and the fried salmon skin maki in bonito flakes are especially tasty. If you’re not up for sushi, the grilled scallop with miso, the beef sukiyaki, the hot plate foie gras with mushroom and the pork cutlet curry rice are all fantastic choices. Kinsa Sushi’s black sesame ice cream is so good, you’ll need to taste it to believe. Book ahead and see for yourself!
Very nice restaurant. Good value. They installed a new robot waiter. That will be interesting in the future. Will definitely visit once again in the future
It was pretty decent food with a cute Robot serving you ! Will go back to try the Wagyu Don soon as it was highly recommend^^
2nd visit within a week. Consistently good quality food with affordable pricing. Average spending $50++ per pax as we went for the premium Wagyu and other delectable food. Having resided in Tokyo, the only missing feature was the greetings upon arrival and departure. If they can work on this aspect, the experience will be more fulfilling.
Awesome food and place! Always coming back for more :)
Was recommended by a friend to this restaurant tucked next to Hillview MRT. Fortunately I made a reservation as it was full house on a Friday evening. My partner and I ordered the brown rice mentai sushi and wagyu don, and were swept away. The wagyu was seared to perfection. Overall happy with the food, was fairly value for money:)
Overall food taste normal. Just that the Teriyaki Gindara(grilled cos fish) doesn't taste quite like the usual cod fish. The fried choc ice cream totally cannot make it. Salmon sashimi is nearly red in color but taste good. Customer service still acceptable, quite responsive to request but not sensitive enough to see customers who are trying to get assistance.
Restaurant did not receive my booking and apparently they did not receive notification from the quandoo booking site also thus did not receive the booking. Requested for baby chair also but as they did not receive the booking they did not get it ready. The baby chair given also could not fit the table and worst still the clasp was broken, hence unsafe for baby. Food wise wasn't too bad.
It seemed that the restaurant was not aware of the reservation, in the end our table was set om the spot, it was a bir of a squeeze but it was not too bad. Food was satisfying, everyone enjoyed what they had for lunch.
Had starters and maki rolls which were tasty. Prices are very reasonable - $40+ for 2 pax. Service was prompt though not the friendliest of all. Food took a little long to serve probably cos it was full house on a eve of PH.
Food was great and service was excellent. Value for $$ as we paid $110 for 5 persons, much better than Sakae or Ichiban. Hope you can start a branch in AMK in the near future.
