King's Laksa Steamboat 皇叻沙火锅

Soup of laksa is great. Other varities of soup are also worth trying. Meats are cut well and more fresh. Vegetables varites are limited. Choices for steamboat ingredients do have many. Lots of ice cream choices. Overall their stuffs are much more than some famous restaurants. Worth the price. Drinks also lots of choices too. And don't forget to ask waitress for pudding. As this dessert is keep inside their kitchen unless being ask for.😉

It was a busy night for the restaurant, as such, food was not replenished as quickly as expected. Nevertheless, the staff always wore a smile and were pleasant throughout. Kudos. But quality of the frozen meat could have been better though.

Meat is frozen, not fresh. Limited choices of food. Prawns were not bad, literally pay to eat the well known prawn paste chicken and the fried tofu!

The ambience was great!! The seafood was fresh and the portion of meat are very generous, everyone should try this. This is value for money!

We had the laksa and seafood soup, Only Laksa base is nice... many varieties of food and good service from the staff as they will auto refill the soup.

Food varieties limited. Meat are all in lumps Not defrost. So when cooked is all 1 big lump. But waitress is fast in topping up soup when low.

Lack of staff to tend to the customers and hence require reminders on ordered items. Lesser food variety this time round. Love the thai milk tea icecream nevertheless!

value for money. good for big eaters.. avoid the fried items if you are a small eater so that you'll have space for other food.

Food Variety was limited for Sunday lunch. But price the same as dinner. Need to improve the serving method as the ordering through a piece of paper does not look like buffet.

The food and soup tasteless, service sucks,order 3 beef only come 1 and wait for half and hour to get the food. Worst experience ever

Excellent steamboat place. The food was fresh and tasty. Service was very good and waitresses were friendly. Would definitely recommend for a first time trying steamboat.

Maybe can consider to use a smaller pot as not both sides of the soup boil at the same time. We kept turning the pot in order to get the food cook properly.

Food and service were good but felt like there was alot of msg in the soup base as we were both really thirsty by the time we got home

A bit over rated. Their fried food is a lot nicer than the stuff for the steamboat. We took the laksa and seafood soup bases. Laksa one can be a little thicker. Seafood soup base was nice and went well with the veg. The chicken wings and fried luncheon meat are a must order. The meat and veg don't seem to be very fresh. Staff were friendly and tried their best to cater to everyone even though they were so busy. Once is enough for me. Won't be going back again.

Waitress was very kind and nice. Constantly refilling the soup for us. Food was average. Ice cream wasn't that great though. But fried food was good.

Food Not bad, staff is friendly. But the electric heater for the steamboat is not balance, making the soup one side boil and the other not.

Back at King's Laksa Steamboat again within a month. Really like the broth and the fried wings / tofu. A little short handed this time round though. Had to wait some time before we're served.

Staff are friendly checking on us occasionally to ensure we are ok. Food quality is excellent, wide variety of food choices; both cooked and uncooked.

Selection of food was limited & taste were just average. Paid $60+ for 2 pax but felt it wasn't worth the price at all. Staff was friendly but slow to attend to customers. Environment was rowdy & that really affected my appetite. Doubtful that I would patronize them again.

The owner was great and welcoming. Good service. Laksa Soup was thick and tasty. Would come again. Parking may be a problem though as we had to wait for a lot.

Nice unpretentious place to have dinner with friends. Free flow of drinks as well as other fired food upon order. Pricing is reasonable as well, Highly recommended

Reservation made effortlessly via Quandoo on the same day afternoon. Although food varieties weren't very elaborate, but their Laksa soup base was thick and aromatic. And plus pt for awesome service and fresh ingredients esp the seafood which incl flower crabs. Our total bill for 4 came up to be $115 incl drinks.

great place to eat, location abit out of the way

Staff were attentive and helpful. They even said that we could eat tang yuan for free because we patronised it on Dong Zhi! Also liked the various options available for steamboat. As we came to try out the laksa steamboat, we tried it along with herbal soup steamboat. The place wasn't too crowded, so we needn't be distracted by any noise.

it was quiet and not bad. Affordable too :) Big crowds might like it here. The service crew is extremely good too :D Try it at least once

The ambience in the restaurant is quite comfortable, the buffet has a quite a lot of variety to choose from and at affordable price. Good for gatherings.

staff was very friendly. Assisted us with the items on the menu and food was really fresh. Loved the Laksa soup. However, the Mala gravy was too spicy and overpowering for me.

Went there for their prawns but they ran out of it :( crab was sweet and fresh! Will visit again, definitely! Oh and they increased price :(

Waiter is attentive and service is good. Has quite a variety of food to choose and portion is generous. However seafood quality is not good.

The seafood is especially fresh. Enjoyed the laksa broth. The herbal broth is really good too. Some of the veg at the self service counter is not very fresh though n the meats, though fresh, are sliced too thinly. Fast to cook, but bite wise a bit lacking. Friendly n prompt service.

They have all the variety I like n it suits my taste perfectly. Will be back for more soon.

There was a good array and choice of materials for the steamboat and the cooked food was fresh and good too.Drinks section can be improved.

food was yummy, great variety of food available for steamboat. the fried food was really yummy and crispy, fried upon request. ice cream was not bad as well.

Service is good, food is so so and the variety is not much. But the fried food is piping hot! The prawns and cockles are small!
